2024-03-18 22:39:48The service was outstanding, our server was the nicest, and was extremely educated on the menu making fantastic suggestions. The food was great. I had meatless, meatloaf, and the fries, They tasted fantastic like a home cooked meal. I really appreciate the detail that went into the meal itself. The chefs did remarkable work and you can tell that they are proud to serve the dishes. I meet the co-owner who was just the sweetest person you will ever meet wasn’t able to meet her husband but maybe next time 🤘🏼 as a traveling, musician I am able to try some of the top vegan restaurants across the country. I will definitely put this location in one of my go to spots. 🌱

2024-01-26 08:39:01The much anticipated restaurant is finally here in OC. While I’m sure many are bummed to see Native Foods go, wipe those tears. This place is a true hit! The beautiful architecture of the building and the crazy outdoor seating with the fire pit, are so unique. The menu is a true adventure. The Shepards Pie and biscuits and gravy are a delicious! You won’t regret it for a moment. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Spanish olive oil cake, it’s to die for.So happy to have a new restaurant in our area, welcome friends!

2024-02-18 02:46:06We have eaten at the Plot in Oceanside and also the express takeout in Carlsbad many times.. absolutely Love Love it!We were so happy they opened one closer to us at “The Camp” by south coast plaza.Everyone who works here treats you like family! So warm and genuine. It’s a small family owned restaurant ALL VEGAN (owners are awesome too) They are happy to explain the dishes and all the care that goes into what you are going to be eating. It is all Plant Based and locally sourced. The Plot is adorable and funky..it’s quaint and totally hip… like your eating in a giant tent yert! There is also heated outdoor seating if you have a pet with you too! They have dishes that are Organic, nut free or Gluten Free etc just ask them . There is really something for every taste at the plot. The food is so tasty clean and absolutely beautifully prepared..you can taste the love in every biteWe love the cheezyyy truffle fry’s and the Chronic Sushi. The Chix and biscuits is crazy good as well (if you want something a little heavier) but delish. Whatever you order you really can’t go wrong here we have enjoyed everything.THE PLOT IS THE PLACE! Totally worth the little hassle of the busy parking lot. Make reservations get there a little early and look at the cute shops nearby because it can get very very busy!

2024-01-15 20:24:29Was so pleased to have indoor seating on the weekend with no reservation, and an amazing experience with the staff. The whole place makes me light up as it’s in a yurt, and now there’s also a fireplace outside with cozy blankets for you to curl up with family and friends. It’s the perfect spot for anytime of day, but even better for a nice fancy evening out.On top of that, the food not only tasted delicious but it was presented so beautifully and at a somewhat reasonable price compared to other high end vegan restaurants. The service was fast, but this could have mainly been because we arrived between dinner runs. But generally it seems like they are on top of things at The Plot. They’ve even got some other locations open now in oceanside and carlsbad, which was exciting to hear too. But not as great as to how they use every part of the plants they use in their dished to offset food waste to the max! Their produce is fresh, but i noticed it could be fresher. although nothings really perfect, I found my evening out to the Plot was as close to that as possible. Not to mention they have their own bathroom and mushroom wallpapers that made it a new staple of mine to visit. 🙏🏼💗

2024-01-14 04:03:15Hands down the best plant based restaurant Ive ever had. The atmosphere is clean soft earth colors, urth as restaurant, soft music in background, cool seating with pillows or benches. Mission statement is epic love love love. Prices are very fair for fresh farmed foods. Michele, our waitress was super sweet. She recommended the biscuits and gravy (fries tofu) and Shepard pie (wild lentils and rice with veggies). Chef surprised us with Moosh Boosh for palate starter-spicy cucumber mint with strawberry on top and tangerine oil. The soda was probably healthiest ingredient based Ive ever had and tasty.I am already excited to come back so I can try other times on menu.

2024-01-24 21:09:53Trendy new vegan restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The service is great and the food is super fresh — they even make their own oat milk. The parking is a challenge though.

2024-02-09 23:32:46Very cool place, an upscale vegan restaurant with delicious food! The Shepherds pie was amazing, and the sake spritzer drinks were so good! We tried and ginger and the blood Orange, and loved them both. I am not a vegan, and have had my fair share of bread pudding, but the bread pudding at the Plot was one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t be afraid to try it. It’s a beautiful date spot, or a great casual brunch option too! What a special and unique place to have locally. Highly recommend a visit!

2024-05-25 16:27:43Parking is atrocious here, but they have valet as an option. It’s located in the “camp” and is pretty busy in general during lunch/dinner.I would say dining in feels modern which a twist of hipster vibes - but is irrelevant to how it is compared to the food. For all vegan, everything is well seasoned, creatively made and packed with flavor. The employees are unique in a sense they are ultra hipster but they are truly welcoming and genuine. They have an outdoor patio and indoor dining option with heated lamps / fire pit which is nice. Honestly think their pricing is in line because the food delivers on presentation, taste and service. Come give it a try!
