I visited The Point for a free concert. It has a fun, modern vibe. However, the parking was a nightmare. Once we parked across the street and crossed over Rosecrans, found a spot and settled in, we had a great time! Max 80s always delivers!

I had dinner at the True Food Kitchen, which was awesome! I had the best non-alcohol margarita! Yum! They also have great pizza and burgers! I had the Peruvian Grass-Fed Burger, and it was excellent! We also had the best server, I wish I would have asked her name! She was awesome! After, I shopped at Madewell and got two pair of jeans! Bring your old jeans and you can get money off a new pair!

Went to meet up with friends. It is an outdoor courtyard for a couple of big box stores. There are just a handful of restaurants and a kids play area. The area was clean and felt safe for families to gather. The bathrooms were also clean.

Concerts in the Park 7/12/23. Amazing band last night, Max 80s! The grassy area was packed like Ive never seen before, and the standing room was hard to find. The dance floor was hopping with every song. I love this location for summer Concerts but get there early because parking is very hard to find!

What kind of mall doesnt have enough parking. Really poor layout, LA also makes you drive everywhere because the people here refuse to acknowledge that this is a city and therefore public transportation is necessary for proper functionality. Overall a terrible experience.

Parking was a nightmare at noon on a Thursday. Heard many other shoppers grousing about the same thing. Cant imagine what a weekend would look like 😱 If it takes 15 minutes to park its not worth the energy trolling the parking lot imho

Hadnt been to The Point in a long time. It is great! Not many stores, but nice stores, great business pop-up kiosks from other businesses (loved OsoPorto!) and lots of very good restaurants. And it was great to see TONS of people enjoying life.

The Point, North Italia, delicious!Ive been there a few times over the past years and still doesnt disappoint. Great food, drinks, and service.It can get loud and crowded. Bring activities for the kids and if sensitive to sound... I saw kids with hearing protection, which was amazing and a great idea.Food is on point!Great place. Enjoy!

What a cool shopping/dining strip mall. Very So Cal. I think all the restaurants have large outdoor seating areas. No McDonalds or food court fodder here. All the restaurants definitely have a modern, hip vibe. Lots of healthy type foods, but also tasty. The large courtyard/green space area has seating and an area where kids can play. There is an ice cream stand and full bar in the courtyard area as well. The bar had live acoustic music which made the atmosphere feel homey and intimate. It was a perfect Spring day and this is why people LOVE Southern California-- great weather, great food, all set in a casual environment. The Point is great for an adults only dinner or a meal or snack with your entire family.

Met up with a couple of co workers at The Point,dine at North Italia and what can I say . Everything thing went smooth from arrival until we left. From food, wine and desert satisfied my appetite. Their staff make you feel welcoming, polite, respectful and I wish I remember our waitress name cause she provided excellent service. Without a doubt I will be back to this place and recommend it anyone to stop by and check them out . Thanks

Food food food.This place has lots of unique places to grab some food.I love the different varieties of food.None of the food establishments are big from big chain restaurants so you will have a unique experience of food choices available.The area is very calm and peaceful. There is plenty of parking but at times you might have difficulty getting a close parking spot.The ice cream spot is very tasty with lots of options.

THE POINT IS JUST WAY WAY OVERCROWDED AND HONESTLY - other than a South Bay hipster family hangout to go and be seen - there is not much else here. Soccer and flag football are for the park not an over rated outdoor shopping mall.

So family friendly! I cant wait to go back with my kids. This was our first visit and happened to be a date night but I can see that its clearly a good place to bring the kids on a family night out also. There is a great grass area to play/sit on. I love this little strip of stores and restaurants. I go at least 2-3 times a month, for lunch and to shop. Its a fun area, friends are gathering, children playing, music playing (maybe theres not music, I just hear it in my head when Im there 😊). I like the shops which are very different and I always spend money, the restaurants are as well.

My sister took me and my sister-in-law to your restaurant. I was looking forward to going since I enjoy Vietnamese food. We waited 20 minutes for tables that were available. We sat for another 15 minutes with no server coming to our table. We only saw one server. The menu was very confusing. We left because of the poor customer service. By the time we left we saw about four servers coming from the back. You might want to consider making your menu more user friendly and retrain your servers in customer service.

Had lunch outdoors at Simmzys with our dog. My Chicken Apple Walnut Salad w. GOAT CHEESE WAS DELICIOUS. I like it drenched with extra dressing and our dog sunbathed while we ate. Service was friendly. Nice selection of restaurants at this retail center, the grounds are immaculate and overall pretty crowded during the week at lunch hour.

Great place to enjoy the outdoors, do some shopping, or grab something to eat. Very lively and lots of kids running around enjoying the outdoor space.Personal favorites to eat are True Food and Hopdoddy although all the restaurants are good.Parking has never been an issue and fairly easy to get in and out of as opposed to other shopping centers in the area.

The Point is fairly decent when it comes to dining options however for me personally it seems like a park with restaurants due to the heavy amount of kids running around playing. As a person who doesnt have kids it can be a bit annoying trying to find place to sit and eat when parents are taking up the seats to watch their kids play or hoping a ball doest come and hit you or your food. There is a local park nearby for people to bring their children to and leave the enjoyment for adults with shopping dining and drinking to the other patrons.

North Italia proved to be a delish eats for the palate. Brunch salad or a sandwich plate did not disappoint ones taste buds as evidenced by our clean plate club. Attractive and spacious interior decor with a bar area, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fabulous and friendly server answered the many questions posed by the customer. I came here just for a drink at a restaurant within the shopping center but I cant seem to find the listing? Weird. Ive thought about the restaurant several times since I left. The restaurant is beautiful and the surroundings are very nice. The bar itself is indoor/outdoor and feels upscale. I really wish I had ordered food because the menu looked delicious and I saw some of the food other people had ordered. Elevated American cuisine. I guess I have a great excuse to come back. I also really love that they served my champagne in a 1930s style glass. Nice glasswear really elevates the experience.

The Point has both good restaurants and a nice atmosphere. Theres ample outdoor seating for hanging out and enjoying coffee or ice cream. There is a pleasant water feature, a space for kids to distract themselves, and a small green space/lawn.

I actually stopped because of one of the store names on the building - the store turned out to be a very different type store than what I thought it would be. The Point is a really pretty and family friendly shopping center. Most of the shops are too expensive for my taste, so Ive never been there to shop but if we want a relaxing dinner out the Mendocino farms here hits the spot. I love this outdoor space; nice place to gather/meet friends (not during Covid times); a few of my favorite restaurants are there (Mendocino Farms, True Food, North Italia); you can grab a drink and sit on the patio on what feels little like vacation area. Pressed Juicery is there and I often place my orders while eating at a restaurant... Often see lots of families grabbing food and drinks while kids play in the courtyard. Plenty of free parking.

Hopdoddy is the reason we visit this place. Awesome restaurant. The Point has other good restaurants like North Italia and True Kitchen. Good place to have a relaxing evening with friends. It is a nice place; pretty and clean. The employees are too nice. I asked a random store where the bathroom was and they let me use the stores bathroom despite me not even making a purchase or remotely showing any interest in their products. That worked out for me.Everyone is wearing athleasure and is sipping on some health juice or just came from the gym. Still in their gym clothing, they might also be walking their dog or watching their children. I felt a bit out of place.

More parking than things to experience. I guess if you spin, this is a great location. Most of the food places are weirdly blah in an overwrought way. Petes Coffee is great, Hop Doddy used to be fun when they had full service waitstaff. Standing in line to order is a real drag. I like The Platform better. So many parked cars and always feels like a ghost town.

Nice change of scenery from your typical overcrowded and hectic mall. Not too big and not too small. Everyone seemed relaxed at this mall. The thing that popped out to me the most was the large park like setting and large grassy area. What mall has grass?! None that I know of. It was nice to see young children playing together, chasing each other around and without ELECTRONICS. They have a couple of really good restaurants here that are healthy choices. We ate at Hopdoddys, my El Diablo burger was delish, if you like spicy hot, this burger fits the bill. My husband got your basic burger, which he said was really good. The only thing I would suggest is to either wear long pants or leggings....or some kind of bug repellent, because you have to eat outside due to this zombie apocalypse, and these pesky flies liked munching on my legs as much as I liked my burger. Dont let the pesky flies deter you, just dress or prepare accordingly!

As of this review 9-13-15 - may of the restaurants and retail stores at The Point have yet to open. Even without everything open, The Point and busy, and amazingly enough, so is the parking. To me, this is the largest pain point. There are many times when parking is quite full, and you have to park very far away from the shops. Not idealThe Point itself is very nice, with ample green space, concerts, movies on the green, places to relax and more. The current open locations are interesting, but it still feels a bit sparse as you walk by coming in October, etc. closed store fronts.A good overall outdoor mall that will find its stride once everything is open. My only concern - that parking...

I would recommend The Point to go eat and shop. I like Pressed Freeze for their non-dairy frozen dessert in many seasonal flavors with many toppings. There are name brands stores to shop at such as Lululemon and Lucky Brand. If you want to grab a quick lunch, I recommend Mendocino Farms and Tocaya Organica.

Im really not sure of the purpose of The Point. To me it seems like a bunch of high end stores and restaurants that dont offer anything special. Parking is pretty easy, and its a relaxed environment, but none of the restaurants offer anything special, and the stores present can be found in other local malls. This is such a cute plaza. Its got turf for you to hang out on and they encourage people to hang out with chairs and foozball. Its small but nice.Restaurants include hopdoddy (recommend!), mendocino farms, and true food. Theres also a Peets Coffee here for anyone that prefers it to Starbucks. Theres also a little bit of shopping, dessert, and workout classes.Parking is plentiful.

I love, love, love, the Point. I love introducing people to The Point! Remember to bring quarters for the outside Foos table (yes, I had to google foos to double-check the spelling on that!). Take a selfie or groupie behind the beautifully colored walls and make-believe-lifeguard-stand. Some of the price points are for those with a bigger wallet than myself and thats cool that they still let me in. Sugarfina is a must-try with their signature luxury candy bentos -- a great gift for anyone in your life. Parking is complimentary and a few times I had to wait a moment or two for a spot, but, I am always able to find a spot eventually.
