I will never ever enter here again, I gave it three times the chance, and it always ends the same experience. The uncomfortable stares and following by the employees and the Arab looking security, I sense the uncomfortable feeling of discrimination with the looks in their faces. Its easy to discriminate, but I only tried to bring you business. And I dont know where theses people even get thier knowledge of me being a suspicious but I know that Ive never given or shown criminal behavior to your store.

There are a variety of stores to include places to get grocery items, clothing, housewares, and electronics. There are multiple selections for food also. Dining options include Chipotle, a greek kebab place, a place to get poke, and a Crumbl cookie store. The AMC theater is an all recliner theater. The common areas are well kept and there is lots of parking available.

Fantastic. Definitely a cut above. Many times these kinds of places are basically Dennys with flare. This is different. Great service, really quality ingredients and elevated cooking. The bacon was perfect. My eggs were actually over medium. The pancakes were divine. I would have had more than one Morning Margherita if I wasnt driving. Excellent spot for breakfast. Also, be sure to call ahead and get your name in the list by phone. 😎

Getting in and out of this place by car is nerve wracking. The main routes are unpleasant by bicycle. Walking would be worth considering if everything werent spaced so far apart to support all the cars. At least bus stops are right out front. In the end, no one is particularly happy getting in or out of here. But once youre here, the selection of stores is quite nice. Most of your frequent needs, and even some less frequent needs can be met: drugstore open late, supermarket, FedEx, a few restaurants covering different cuisines... A bit overpriced in general though.

For the most part its a good mall to shop at they have a AMC theater in center court two grocery stores Ralphs and trader Joes two clothing stores Marshalls and Ross dress for less also two Starbucks one inside Ralphs is a franchise Starbucks there coffee is always bitter seems like they dont follow Starbucks standards. Starbucks next to relax the back stories amazing the Starbucks manager shar if I spelled her name right is amazing you can always rest assured that anything you ordered will be well met including great customer service La Jolla village square also has five restaurants Ikes sub,poki one and half, crumble cookies,Z-pizzia and last but not least padadak Korean chicken and chick-fil-A eventually be a new restaurant

Nice shopping center with good restaurants and shops! It can be crowded and takes some time to get in or out of the parking but it is okay! I wish there was a water fountain somewhere and more trash cans!The CVS and the Wholefoods stores make a perfect combination for shopping.

I had such a great experience here. One of my favorite things about Whole Foods is that the food is sold complete as one full unit unlike other grocery stores where I get half the amount I’m supposed to get. I once bought a box of crackers at a competitor store and was 13 crackers shy of a full box. Not at Whole Foods though. I got the whole thing and that’s a win in my book.

Well maintained parking lot. Parking is ample but you may have trouble finding a space near the high traffic areas like the Sprouts. The shops are wells selected like a post office and a taco shop all with close proximity to the neighborhood. It does scream suburban soccer mom here so be prepared.

I was really taken back by all the fruits and vegetables they had on display. I loved how they organized their products down every aisle. It was my first time going inside the store. Although, I have seen this store many times I never went because, I always assumed they were expensive but they are not. And if you are a prime member the prices are even lower. The store is immaculate and customer service is out of this world. Shouts out to the butcher folks they gave me the best choices of meat with a smile and have a great day. I will shop here again and again.

What a variety of offerings from my favorite, The Melt to a Mediterranean fast food join and of course, Whole Foods in the center. This is great place to stop before a picnic at the beach. I absolutely love La Jolla, and all it has to offer. That said, after I picked up my Rolls-Royce Ghost, V-Spectrum Edition yesterday, I attempted to grab a bite at BJ’s, and discovered the fake-news-folks, did their job well, as every eatery I attempted would not serve us due to this hoax of an epidemic. I say hoax as our common influenza virus takes out over 5,000 people annually, and this virus pales in comparison... cheers

This is really great shops complex but parking is very small- it gets pretty tough to find parking, sometimes even in the middle of the day. I used to live across the street (before they build Nordstrom) and after that parking became an issue. Other than that its great place to come to run errands or just relax. I come here sometimes to shop at Trader Joes and then discovered Mendocino Fams. I love the place. The food is very good.I liked the farm sandwich, the corn chowder and the chicken salad substituting tofu for the chicken. The tofu was good 👍. The water glasses are small, but the drinks are not far from the table. I filled 2 for myself and refilled them once. The decor is nice and they have a lot of outdoor tables because the weather is pretty much always nice in La Jolla. For some reason I felt like the tables werent cleaned often, but the entered arrived on metal trays with placemats and napkins so it didnt matter how long since the last table wipe. Yes, they brought the food to the table! There is a QR Code on the table. Scan it with your phone and then enter the code from your receipt, and the servers will bring your meal to you - even though you wait in line and place your order up at the counter. I also like the huge, eye-level menú that is close enough to read without binoculars. This was my 3rd visit because I really like the food here.

It has a plethora of healthy food choices like grain-fed meats, wild caught seafood, organic produce as well as pet food and beauty products. The workers are always friendly and helpful. A little pricey but you can always find the healthful products that you cant find anywhere else, so I recommend this grocery.

Adequate at best. Not rotten.... but not great either. Chief among the notable shortcomings, is parking. You can expect to do at LEAST two or three parking lot laps before you get lucky enough to find someone pulling out. Another opportunity for improvement would be by adding charging stations for electric cars. There was no visible security officer on the property and I was in the parking lot for about an hour. All that said, the selection of shops is adequate and worth visiting.

BE PATIENT... parking is TERRIBLE at prime times (lunch, holidays, weekends, after work), especially with a large university and medical center right up the street. Its like shopping on Christmas Eve... you know what its going to be like, you chose to go, so be patient. If you are able to, park on the street and walk in. You can shop at The Rack, grab cupcakes, get lunch, pick up your CVS prescription,, grab a new collar for Fido, make a payment on your credit card at the bank to cover the overspending you probably did 😁, get a few groceries at Whole foods AND pick up a DELICIOUS hot meal there for dinner and head home! All you need in one shopping center!

Much better parking lot than the lot just south of here. Lots of banks here, some pretty good restaurants. Always looks nice and clean.There isnt too much to say about this place. This shopping center has plenty great shops to choose from. BJ is always a favor of mine. Whole food is a good market for great food. It feels safe and I like the atmosphere but I don’t like the fact that they don’t have a spacious parking lot. I drove around for an hour looking for a parking space. They need a better system.

The Rubios was great - excellent friendly service, and the food was tasty.The parking lot is an absolute nightmare to navigate. It is very poorly laid out, and a total hazard for pedestrian traffic.It is far too small for the number of retailers that are sharing the awkwardly constructed lot. (And this was BEFORE the big holiday shopping crush!!)Concrete barriers placed seemingly at random impede the flow of traffic and serve to make an extremely busy, heavily congested lot even more difficult for vehicles to maneuver.

This Whole Foods in La Jolla has much better inventory than the Del Mar location. There seems to be much more in stock here. I really enjoy shopping at Whole Foods! They have a great selection of high quality and organic foods. Theres lots of options to choose from and their 365 home brand is usually a great low price alternative. We picked up some sushi for lunch. The sushi is very good and tastes fresh.

Great stores. I love Whole Foods (be warned this one is quite busy) and the CVS there is HUGE and their staff is wonderful. My only complaint would have to be how insane the parking situation is. Lots of tiny spots but an absurd amount of spot-stealing and lot-rage (no joke Ive seen literal fistfights over spots 😳 ... Cmon guys, grow up and just be decent to each other!). This place could really benefit from a parking structure!

Hard to find parking during peak times, but its a productive center as there are 3 banks, a CVS & Whole Foods, as well as FedEx/Kinkos & a Sprinkles Cupcakes where their cupcakes are so good! Theres other food options and cool shops here so if you can deal with the parking situations, it should be a good experience

Nice shops with friendly employees. However, the parking is hectic. Be careful of small children running and darting out in front of your vehicle. Some ppl are not attentive to their children while others speed through the parking lot like maniacs. Its a very dangerous combination.

No matter the day, it always seems like theyre re-stocking. Therefore, isles are always crowded. Some workers are polite enough to move out of your way, while others act like youre in their way. Oh, and one other thing. Theyre now allowing small farm animals in the store. Not really but this dog was a small pony. Since when is it hygienic to allow dogs in where you shop for you food. Great little mall with many loved shops. Its a bit crowded in the parking area but it is a nice parking lot. Generally. There are many of the Town favorite small chains there and of course they have Whole Foods CVS and some wonderful stores to get food and delicious treats. Sprinkles has a buzz there with their cupcakes, and a range of shops. Urban Plates. There are also two more small malls adjacent, if you need anything else.

Very pretty, organized and convenient! You got three banks on one side, supermarkets(Wholefoods and CVS) on the other side, and restaurants on the other side. Also, my favorite sushi restaurant of all time, Kinoyume Sushi and grill, is one of the reasons why I have to go to this shopping center despite the fact that the parking maybe limited in the daytime. If you need to shop, Id reccomend you to come after 2pm if possible cuz it is when parking are more available

Lots of shops, lots of free parking. Sometimes the parking can be entirely full, though, because some UCSD students park there. There is a variety of restaurants (some of which serve coffee, some beer), a pet store, a CVS, a post office, and a Whole Foods. There are electric car charging spots next to the Whole Foods! And right across the street there is another pretty good shopping center with a movie theatre and two grocery stores.

The Shops at La Jolla Village shopping center is to my mind a chancy proposition. There are some really great destinations there - Snooze Restaurant and Sprinkles Cupcakes to name a couple but it is a high density location. Parking is often a problem and the various shops and restaurants are sometimes a mad house of people; I do my best to avoid being there at the busiest times.You need to be very careful in the parking lot but overall the shops make it worth dealing with the obstacles.

The shops here are great so Ill give 3 stars, but traffic and parking here is horrendous. The parking lot is very pourly designed and traffic builds up so people are forced to disobey regular traffic laws if they want to get any where. I would avoid this shopping center when it is busy.

Went to check out Phils Coffee. The atmosphere was good. The seating while crowded was not appalling. The room was very noisy like you might expect. The bathroom was actually very cozy and nice.The coffee, over rather its means of production were appalling. You start by ordering with the cashier who processes you order and takes payment, so far so good. After this your food is prepared by the cashier you depart to the left and wait in a second line after getting called forward to an awaiting barista set up on pourover stations along the wall. When you approach the barista you need to explain your order against as their is no sort of check system to provide the barista with your order. This wouldnt be the worst but it allows anyone to wait by the cashier for a time and then hop in the second line for free coffee. I encourage this as their means of production are so lacking as Ill explain. So their bread and butter are pourovers, which is fine or even great depending on the equipment and the skills of the barista but they were using adhoc supports and Bunn coffee machine filter baskets off of commercial coffee makers. These baskets are not meant for pourovers. They are bulky, harder to clean, and produce a poorer cup of coffee. This is appaling considering a chemex would be easier to clean, take up less space, be much more presentable, a d only cost around $40. The other common pourover option for San Diego of the Hario V60 shares all of these benefits and is less costly. Optimally, either of these options combined with a Curtis Semaphore computerized pourover stand would greatly increase the consistency and quality of their coffee offerings. I find it difficult to believe that in such an area as La Jolla where people will pay for good things inside of area where the coffee scene if so much more developed than much of the country that such an operation could exist. They bring their C game to La Jolla and the only reason they received a C instead of a D is that with quick inexpensive changes they could improve and with proper investment they could show San Diego why pourovers are such a nice luxury.

I love this shopping mall. It is jam packed with cool stores. You can park in one of the three large parking lots and walk to all the stores. It is anchored by Ralphs Supermarket on one side and Whole Foods on the other side. Citi Bank an d Chase Bank are right there also. Many places to eat like Rubios and several coffee shop cafes.This area is a hub for the UCSD students and caters to an upscale crowd. Transit platforms are in the immediate vecinity and most shops are open until 10pm. Its fun to be apart of the college crowd and its good for an afternoon shopping or for having a bite to eat. Definitely check this place out.

Tried to go the other day. It was very busy so I had to drive around for a while finding a spot. Finally found some people pulling out of a spot so I waited for them to leave and as soon as they pulled out, a security guard ran to stand in the spot and then waived someone in from another aisle to take this spot. I was very confused so I rolled down the window to ask what was going on and he said Sorry but I had to give that spot to my son who is late for work. First off, if there is a parking problem, employees should not be parking there. I have managed several restaurants where parking was an issue and we never allowed employees to park in the lot. Secondly, just because he is late for work should not make him more important than a paying customer! I finally gave up on finding a spot and will not return!

Its a strip mall with a CVS and whole foods. I ate at the Rubios once. It was Rubios.One nice feature is the relatively strong wifi signal you get over the whole plaza. I walked around and tested the bandwidth. It was only low on the south side so someone did a decent job setting it up. Id recommend shops for Band-Aids, overpriced kale and setting up torrenting seed nodes.
