A visit to California brought me to the Shops at Montebello. It’s an average-sized mall with a variety of stores from branded chain stores to small retailers. Macy’s is my favorite. The mall structure is oval-shaped, and directions are organized and easy to navigate for a newcomer like myself. The mall is nicely designed, clean and well-maintained. The food court has good food. The mall on a weekday is pretty empty. Parking is spacious.

They have a Claw Daddy Arcade here. Very fun and affordable, they let you trade in claw machine prizes for bigger ones. You also get a free gift with a $10 card purchase, very neat.

I went to Lucilles BBQ restaurant with a friend. I know everything is expensive these days, BBQ food included, but it was not cheap. We ended up eating stuff from the Happy Hour menu. Good food, but overpriced, in my opinion.

Small mall but still got great stores!I happened to snag a shady spot by the trees on a hot day near Forever 21.I had a good time walking through all the stores with my friend and found things at Papaya and Old Navy!I had a good experience and would come back!

Mall doesnt have a big food court, but what they have is good, Cinnamon bon was delicious. there was a small Starbucks but its a franchise so not all your favorite drinks are available and its really small inside of Macys. Also, since they are a franchise, you will not gain points towards Starbucks points. Customer service is ok. Clean restrooms, everything was pretty well stocked. A small area for young children and toddlers to play as you can sit and watch. AC throughout the mall perfect for hot summer days to walk around and cool off. Plenty of parking space.

All the stores were open for business. The mall was very crowded. Many stores had lines to get inside to shop. Many retailers were offering sales. Parking was limited with many cars in the parking lot. The food court was open with limited seating inside. The seating areas throughout the mall have been removed.

The food is good, the beer even better but they need improvement in their customer service area. I saw people in front of me waiting to just get the attention of some employees to let them know they would like a table ! I got the same treatment. So you need to be a little aggressive if you want to get some attention to get served . But once youre in - the food, it is good.They just need to step it up with their customer service. Good luck !

Do not go to the Evergreen Park ones there were a 16-year-old who had a coat of black pants and all black and it and it was so hot in a while in the soccer practice the 16-year-old haded a gun and killed a 15-year-old next in the baseball area

Really nice medium to large indoor mall with a really large food court. The department stores are JCPenny and Macys and they have all the common stores like Cotton On, H&M, FYE, and the foot locker stores, among many others. They also have two really good restaurants - Olive Garden and BJs Brewhouse. Very easy to navigate around. The food court is one of the better ones you will find at any mall.

A very nice mall in comparison to the other malls in the area. Huge parking lots, and if youre hungry, this would be the mall to go to. Massive food court with 9 different places to choose from. The parking lot is gigantic. Outside of the mall has a couple of restaurants as well.

This place has very nice stores and the stores are always filled with products readily available for purchase. I knocked off one star because it was pretty confusing to enter and navigate through the Macys but all the other stores were good. I dont usually look into the food court so I have no comments on that.

Ive been going to this mall/town center/shopping center since I was a child. Great variety of stores and ample amount of parking. Theyve added even more restaurants over the past several years and thats in addition to their already great selection of fast food choices they have in their food court. Its almost always a good experience going, except for the huge dent in my wallet when I leave. Haha.

The shops were nice justBj restaurant bad experience mediocre food and when they were trying to fix my issues no thanks I rather no eat and wait for my boyfriend and daughter to finish their meal. The cheeseburger was good his steak was whatever too. My food was cold, potatoe undercooked and the meat wasn’t medium well when I asked them to warm it up they brought my a different meal my ateak was a quarter or the size of the first one and not medium well and my chicken was cold again, so I opt out of eating.

I’m giving the mall a 3 due to I went on a hot day escalators weren’t working none of them and the once at forever 21 were working but they had a sign saying not to go up them and the couple elevators they have stank since it’s hot they need some sort of ventilation and I thought the mall would have AC it don’t only some stores now the selections of stores is good clothes toys shoes it’s good to each there own I found what I was looking for can’t say you will or won’t but just know the actual mall there issues with escalators and the ones that do work you’re not allowed to use and the few elevators that they are stink and have no ventilation AND perhaps by the end of the day I visited they might have broken down they sounded kinda weird and doors took long to open one we got to the floor don’t recommend if you go just stay on one floor

Love her customer service and above all that she doesn’t just want to sell you anything just to give the employees a sale. It’s nice and clean. The individual shops are good. The only thing I don’t like is how crowded it gets. If your thinking of going when there’s hardly any people, go on weekdays during work/school hours or around 2/3 during weekends. There’s parking all around. The food court does get PACKED so beware. Btw go to Q or papaya one of the best shops there for clothing.

It was my first time visiting the shops at Montebello. I went to exchange a shirt at the Dodger clubhouse after I mistakenly bought the wrong one at another location. From the looks of the mall it seemed like a great place with a good mix of stores to choose from. I wish I hadnt been in such a holiday rush to get in and out because I would have liked to enjoy the place.

It has good stores but I feel like it needs to be re-modeled. It still looks pretty old fashioned. It needs modern decorations or fountains inside. The food court could also have better options to eat there. Theres a lot of vacant spots in the mall and you can tell that many stores have gone bankrupt or closed permanently. Its sad but I hope they can do more to make the mall better. Otherwise its gonna end up like Puente Hills Mall and turn into a ghost town.

Even though the mall is open, not all the stores are. You must wear your mask at all times. Food court open but there is absolutely no eating inside. There are inspectors walking around and they will give you a warning if youre eating, drinking or dont have mask on. 2nd time you get a ticket.All stores have a limited amount of people allowed inside their store. And the mall itself is not very crowded.

This is my favorite mall. Its large enough to have a variety of shops, but small enough that you can walk and see all of them in an hour or so. The food court has a good variety and there is plenty of seating. I like that they have many comfortable seating areas in all parts of the mall so you can sit and talk or rest.

Very well done mall, has good food, and shops as well as for the cleanses is very good. It’s not the best mall it’s a bit small and not too much to do but, now there is more things to do, for example they added a VR ( virtual reality ) little game ride thing. Overall very nice mall and very helpful security guards, they can tell you were a shop is if you can’t find it in the map of the mall.

Food Court food is low quality fast food types. Only bad experience was my nephew bout a collectible figurine for quite a big amount of money from a collectible toy store only to come home and find out it was an imitation . the store didnt mention fake collectibles but sell them pricy as if you would not notice it was a knock off . he tried to get his money back but it was even exchange only he was bummed out an mad that he got ripped off so becareful what u buy and make sure u inspect it well.

This place has a good variety of shops but is not consumer friendly. For instance they number of elevators are limited, so it makes it difficult when you take a stroller.The second thing I dont like about this shopping center is the play area for kids under 6. There are usually a lot of kids who are over that age playing inside bumping little ones, wearing shoes and there is no security guard near to control the chaos . Parking can be a bit much since the same parking structure is for the mall, as well as 3 restaurants.

I went during the week around noon time. Not that crowded. Sad thing is there are stores that didnt make it like the Disney store and there are others as well. Then you have stores like FYE that just dont care if they are open or closed. They were closed when I went, in the middle of the day. There are some eateries open in the food court.

There was no social distancing and when I went into a phone store here, both a customer and a person working at the store decided that their masks were too hot and took them off. I went there yesterday and we had a we ate at the Mongolian Chinese restaurant the food my wife said was kind of dry I mean my food was okay but it was kind of bland maybe cuz we didnt get a lot of ingredients cuz of our kids were there and we didnt know if they were would have liked to eat them but other than that that place used to be in a South gate and I guess they vanished many years ago so I guess we found it and we went there and its pretty good man check it out you know you have different preferences they give you put a lot of meat if you choose to have a lot of meat chicken beef pork which is really good you can add your mushrooms you can add whatever you want lettuce whatever type of thing you want and then they grill it up for you and it comes out really good

For just under a decade we used to eat in the food court almost on a day basis. I had not been in this mall for about 4 years. I ate lunch and took a walk. The mall had been updated; some new stores and some original stores moved to new spaces. It looked familiar but a nicer look and feel.

Me & my partner are on holiday here, we need bits & pieces & bumped into this shop near where we are staying. The shop is big, the range is huge, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We find everything that we need from hand sanitiser to sweets & nuts to laundry liquid in small bottle to batteries... Its such a great shop. 👍👍👍

If you value your vehicle dont bother with this place. In the past month 2 cars have been stolen. My coworker came out to find he car on wood clocks and h er expensive rims stolen. In the middle of the afternoon never the less. Administration needs to hire capable security and have a PD on site .

Parts of the mall were under construction but coming here during winter time and especially for christmas sales, pretty packed. They had security on,each entrance and exit door. A simple hello and good bye from the security felt surprising inviting. Good on this mall for better security staff.Not as big as the other mall plazas and the parking was horrendous. This is a very nice shopping mall that has a variety of stores its 2 levels. I visited Bath and Body works, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Old Navy, and several other shops. The retail assistants in each store were very friendly and assisted when needed. The general public was also nice and respectful.

Getting around between floors is a pain. 3 spots to go up/down two floors and the elevator in the middle is crowded and always jammed with strollers. need better solution for the disabled. parking is plentiful but historical safety data suggest youd need to exercise all safety precaution to avoid a break in since the parking lot to freeway on ramp is roughly 30 seconds on multiple routes. used to be a restroom in the food count now its relocated to somewhere else in the building not exactly convenient.

I used to come here quite often as a child. I and my siblings went to rosewood park elementary school and remember the events we would have there during Christmas. They would get the students to sing and perform on stage while they put out the fake snow and I just remember it being amazing. Now still shopping there, over 15 years later, not much has changed. There is still a big selection of great stores. Then if anything so many new food places have opened up. My friends and I have found ourselves there just to eat sometimes. I just bought new so addidas backpack for a friend and it wasnt overtly priced like the ones online and she loved it for her birthday. The one main issue I always find while coming here though would have to be the parking. Its really all just luck. Sometimes Ill come in and find a spot super quick and under 5 mins. Other times Ill sit there looking for parking for up to 25 mins because its just so crowded. I never worry if I park too far, they have these little golf carts pick you up and drop you off which makes it super convenient, especially if its hot or you are stuck carrying too much. Its all in the time you go as well. Many places replenish in the morning so thats when you find a ton of good stuff at awesome prices where as at the end of the day due to the high amount of people, everything good will be gone and the selection youll find wont be as great.

So much improvement had taken place over the past year. I was so happy when the new H&M was put in and the at&t store because i use that network and i live conveniently close to the mall. Its rather small though and the food court can have an overwhelming smell, but people are nice and theres various eating place types being added, especially with the new patio cafe. Indoor mall with plenty of variety for young and old . Unfortunately they took out Marie calendars restaurant but the food court is spacious clean and again good variety . Many cell phone carriers have actual spaces and one or two with kiosk. Plenty of parking end major stores like Macys JCPenney . Good air conditioning clean restrooms . Good place for walking . if you walk the whole mall circuit from the bottom to the top you walk about a mile .

Do not try to talk to the security guard in the mall for ANY purpose, they are very rude especially the supervisor Lopez, and we were only staying in the car for couple minutes so that my girl friend can get ready(make up ) they just come to us and talk really rude to us and say we have to leave the car or leave the place. second they drive really crazy, especially in a turn, they do not care if there is any person in the way. the mall so far is pretty good except is a little old fashion already but that not really a problem, the problem is the mall customer service.

I hadnt been to The Montebello Town Center in about 10 + years. I was surprised to find that it seems to be doing quite well. There are some long established shops still in business there such as the HQ. There are also some new editions like the juice bar, Green Crush, down on the corner leading into the food court. The good old Burger King is going strong as well. This mall has some stores unavailable at the Santa Anita Fashion plaza. Torrid and Motherhood are examples of stores that have closed at Santa Anita. I was happy to see the mall was well kept and there were no going out of business signs. I was also happy to ride in the elevator that was there when I was a kid. As a former employee of the MTC, well done Montebello.

The montebello mall has always been the staple mall for me, its definitely not the best mall ever but its for sure not the worst. Ive been coming to this mall my whole life and its always been a good time, clean restrooms, plenty of stores and parking, really the only thing that sucks is navigating through the outside since its usually a one lane road but other than that, this mall has always been great. I prefer visiting this mall. The Antelope Valley Mall near my home isnt good. The Montebello Mall has soooooo many more options for food and shopping. Its attractive inside. However, the parking is rough on the weekends and there are so many people there. It can be difficult to find a seat in the food court area but, I prefer waiting there and having access to more rather than a lot of open seating due to the absence of food establishments, as is the case at the Antelope Valley Mall.
