The Shwack Beach Grill in Dana Point

The name is what drew us here. The service and quickness of the food was on point. The shwack burger is a must. Super juicy and delicious. The shrimp tacos were also a great hit. We will definitely be back here when in Dana point. Highly recommended.

Visited this place on a week day and really liked it. It wasnt too busy, it was clean and staff was friendly. Liked our burgers & fries that we ordered. Overall a nice restaurant and definitely recommended.

Schwack has been a family favorite for many years. They serve consistently good food that never disappoints. I tried the Baby Schwack Ribs during this visit and was thoroughly impressed. Their Spuds are always warm and crispy, and I love their bacon ranch. Seating is sparse, but don’t let that stop you from giving them a try.

Wow the food is something special here. I cant with to explore more from the menu.The Vegi burger 🍔 was delicious and had lots of fresh flavors. The fries were wedge cut and very tasty - Highly recommend asking for an Extra dipping sauce: 1 because its delicious and 2 you can also put it on your burger for some added jazz!

We are taco snobs and have had tacos all over the US. This is the best taco I’ve ever had!Nothing like a normal taco. It’s made with Basa Fish which is very light. It was a large portion of fish, too. The sauce was amazing. You must go here!! Gabriela and Alana were great staff members!

You need to order french fries separately, sandwich doesnt come with it. Had bbq chicken sandwich which was delicious.

Had an extraordinary lunch today at a local restaurant where I was treated to some of the best burgers Ive ever tasted. The patties were perfectly seasoned, grilling had added a delightful char, and the fixings complemented each taste morsel with finesse. The trio of burgers truly showcased their kitchen prowess!Their fries were a perfect sidekick, boasting a crispy exterior, soft interior, and a savory dusting of seasoning that left me wanting more.What elevated this dining experience, however, was their impeccable customer service. Although I cannot recall the cashiers name, they proved to be an invaluable guide through the menu, with spot-on suggestions that made my culinary journey nothing short of fantastic. Its the little things that can make an ordinary meal extraordinary, and this place certainly understood that. Cant wait for my next visit!

Good food, great prices, terrible seating. You really can beat this beach shack for lunch or just something casual but during summer, it can be a mess trying to get seated. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you but most people camp out so may be eating your food on the curb out front.The food was great and they menu has a wide variety of lunch and breakfast options. They also have a few local and regional beers on tap. It’s a go for something casual with a laid back vibe.

Great tasting ceviche, could be a bit spicier but fresh and delicious. The tacos are delicious too!

Came for lunch with some coworkers. Nachos, soda and tip ~$20. Was plenty for a meal but nothing noteworthy about this dish.Serves Coke products.Salads are very large and make for a hefty meal. The fries are more like “chips” or steak fries. Delicious with the Jalapeno ranch.Quesadilla served with salsa, pico and sour cream. Good but nothing memorable. Will come back and try some other items such as the burger and chicken sandwich.
