2023-07-22 23:30:13Had quick bite after work, small Korean restaurant, had the hot stone pot mixed vegetables rice, it was tasty, also cold noodle was cool and refreshing, the broth seem little bland but it was still good, perfect for hot weather. The side dishes were actually more tasty then the main dishes. The Korean BBQ beef, kal bi was little too salty for my taste but others will probably enjoy them. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

2023-11-16 04:10:00I had the pleasure of dining at this Korean restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. The service was exceptional; the waitstaff made sure every need was met promptly. As for the food, it was an explosion of flavors! The bibimbap was a perfect mix of textures and tastes. The ambiance was charming with soft Korean music playing in the background, creating a cozy atmosphere. I left with a happy heart and a satisfied palate.

2023-02-08 03:51:41We live in Castro Valley, and the Sister House has been our go to place whenever we crave for Korean food, which is pretty much almost weekly. We used to have a go to Korean restaurant much closer to us which closed around 2018, so we have been going to Sister House almost regularly since. The food are good. You will not go wrong with whatever you order from here but our favorites are the seafood pancake, spicy pork, galbi, tofu soup, ramyun, and the spicy chicken from time to time. You can tell that it is good Korean food by seeing it crowded with people of Korean descent including some regulars. The service is excellent but it is a small restaurant amd quite popular, so it does get crowded mostly at dinner time. That is when the service gets iffy which is understandable. What we do is we come early before dinner.Do try Sister House when you crave a good Korean food and if you are around the area.

2023-10-31 07:29:35Not enough space for a big group, great for a first date idea. The waitress accidentally splashed hot soup on me while cleaning up the table next to me. I’m not too sure how it happened, she apologized. I think there was one waitress for the entire shop and probably felt overwhelmed. Food was great. Refills not so much.

2022-04-04 02:51:15I go to this place every Friday to get this goat soup. It is amazing. You can choose either a goat soup for 1 serving or 2-3 servings. We chose 2-3 serving size goat soup because we were two. My friend had this goat soup for the first time at this place and he really liked it.Korean people usually eat goat soup during the summer as a comfort food. Goat meat in Eastern medicine is known to make ur stomach warm. Anyways, goat soup at this place is really fresh. It can be spicy. Also contains lots of sesame leaves and other green vegetables which are good for your health. Also their side dish tastes really good and fresh.

2022-09-11 21:04:27Great service and food. First time eating Korean food for my Mexican parents and they enjoyed all the help and the no-rush feeling. We will definitely go back and get more of their spicy meat selection!! Not a lot of seating space so be mindful of that before checking them out!

2022-05-01 03:41:07Great service, SPECTACULAR FOOD, love Sisters house and their staff!! I used to always order to go, but any chance i get to dine in, i do bc the experience is so much better! You really feel like youre in S Korea! Ive never been but Im 14 years experience watching Kdrama and the setup is exactly if i were in their homeland. Quaint, friendly, and busy! As you can see from the pictures this place gets PACKED bc ppl in the area already know wassup🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤I always get the Tteokboki casserole and kimchi pancake. The bulgogi is greatly flavored. Theres absolutely NOTHING negative I could say about this place. I come at least 2-3 times a month🤣 Ive converted my boyfriend to Sisters house and plan on bringing the rest of my friends and family here any chance I get. Even my boyfriend has brought his classmates from Uni here lol Dont second guess coming by, you wont be disappointed!!!

2022-02-13 01:30:00Ordered beef sundooboo and salt fried mackerel which is surprisingly good! The soft tofu soup tasted good, but had only few pieces of beef, you can see in the pic it was mostly tofu. Parking space is huge. Overall this is a recommended place !
