I visited this place for takeout on a busy Thursday night. I ordered 2 pizzas which took about an hour to be ready. This makes sense, since it was busy and my only complaint here is the price. I ordered the Vegan pizza which was $30. The vegan pizza doesn’t have any cheese on it and no meat toppings so not sure why it would be $5-$8 more than a a normal pie. Overall, it seems like a great place to hangout and the staff were friendly.

It’s a local favorite but I wouldn’t go back. Before reading on, I didn’t have any pizza.If you do come here, it has a great atmosphere with plenty of out door seating along with a bar. They have a good selection of beers on tap and wine.The food was blah. The wings were very over cooked and I thinking they pulled them off a hen. They just weren’t good. The calamari was decent but it didn’t have that crispy shell you would expect. Very forgettable but it would be rad to get a beer here after a surf at Porto.

Delicious pan pizza. The dough had tooth to it, and the crust was crispy and flavorful. Beer (mostly from El Segundo brewing who owns this establishment) but there are others and a variety of wines to choose from too. Id go back for the late night hunger pang I had.

Located in downtown El Segundo!I believe that pizza is hugely defined by its crust and this place delivers !!!We are vegetarian and love the grand avenue. A bit spicy but with their homemade ranch it is AMAZING.The beer selection is also super great! They partner with El segundo brewery so have a lot of local drinks but also have a few others and some wine selections.Highly recommend this place!!!Also the service is top notch :)

I liked the food—the cheese pizza was simple but pretty much perfectly cooked and had a well-balanced flavor. The chop salad was really nice and fresh. The hazy IPA I had was pretty tasty too! So, they did great with the food.The staff was also on point and friendly. They let me just hang out for a while as I was waiting to pick up a friend from LAX.I’m really only taking a star off primarily because of the price, but also because the ordering system is quite awkward, and you can tell the staff are annoyed by it themselves. The prices are pretty high. I felt like for $10, I should get at least a salad that you could call a meal—I mean, this salad was super good, but it probably only cost $1 to make, maybe less.The ordering system is this: you pick a table, remember the table number, then go to the front and order using that table number. Seems straightforward but in practice it’s awkward since people either just seat themselves and anticipate a waiter/waitress or go straight to the counter without having looked at a table. This isn’t supposed to be a nuclear haranguing of their ordering system but I just wanted to explain the awkwardness in detail.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had - and I’ve been all over the world. Their high-quality ingredients make a huge difference. They were getting a supply delivery while we were there, and they had big bags of various King Arthur flour (which is the good stuff!). When in LA, I will never skip this place in the future!(Oh, and the beers from their nearby neighbor El Segundo Brewing Company are legit).

One of my go-to places in El Segundo (heck, even West LA). The beer is great, as its from El Segundo Brewing, and the pizza is outstanding. Their weekday lunch special (two slices of pizza and a beer for $10) is the best deal in all of LA!

Been wanting to try this place out. Staff is niceish. Pricing is a bit much for one slice but the pizza is good. Not my favorite but good. The beer is good. I think Id maybe come back to try out more of the food. The pizza crust tastes a bit powdery. Not in a bad way just surprising.

I tried a slice of Margherita and a slice of classic cheese.I really enjoyed Slice & Pints take on the Marghertia: a thin crust Margherita with basil pesto and parmesean. I think the toppings can be better distributed. And there was not enough sauce, thus making for a dry bite. The thin crust is a huge win, and has a good flavor. The cheese layer was too thin, and its an important element to a Margherita. 3/5The classic cheese slice was a little dry, and would benefit from more sauce. 2/5I paired my slices with a local Broken Skull Double IPA. Service was great on a busy day. 5/5 The atmosphere is casual, and they have a variety of brews on tap. Cheers!

Moved from the east coast 2.5 years ago (Philly). Have been in search of decent NY style pizza since, and honestly we gave up, the pizza in LA is horrible aside from fancy Neapolitan restaurant style. Thankful everyday we came across Slice & Pint. Not sure how this place doesn’t get more hype, it absolutely stands up to some of my fav East Coast pizza places. Thin crust, perfectly crispy, sweet sauce, and not too much cheese. We haven’t done takeout because they make eating in house so simple w kids - just show up, grab whatever table is empty, order your pie at the front, and it’s out piping hot within 10min. Beer selection is also on point w local El Segundo pours. Can’t say enough good things about this place, thankful to have a taste of home in Cali.

I was so glad to stumble upon their “two slices and a pint” lunch special that was only $10 when I found myself in town for work. It was the perfect way to take a break from business and have a few calming minutes to myself. Wasn’t yet busy, on a weekday. Pizza slices were on the smaller side but that made two of them perfect for me since I don’t like large portions. The service was friendly and fast. I thought the seating at the bar was comfortable. I liked the beer selection. I’d go back for lunch for sure!

Nice pizza spot. I got a slice of cheese and three meatballs and bread knots. The slice was really good though it seemed like it had cooled a bit and was sitting out for a bit under a warmer. The crust was nice and thin and had a good flavor. The meatballs were really good and had good marinara to go along with them. The bread knots were nice and hot and fluffy. Really enjoyed it.

Dont really mind the 10% surcharge when doing takeout (whole different review) but for how much youre paying, the quality should be much better. Brussel sprouts I ordered lacked any sort of flavor and were drenched in oil and the pizza was a bit underdone. The sauce is at least good but again, for what youre paying, this is not worth it.

We were given a 90 minutes time limit. There were QR code menus. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Live music was great. Good thin-crust pizza. There wasnt full table service, so we ordered at the entrance and our food and drinks were brought to the table when ready, but it all came out pretty quickly and the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere reminded me of a typical pizza place youd take a kids team to after a game (and there were a few of those while I was there), but also trendy enough for adults to enjoy after work, etc. Prices were reasonable for the area.There seemed to be a good amount of street parking in addition to a large lot across the street. Overall it was a great experience and Id go there again.

Slice & Pint is wonderful!!Pizza is awesome, pizza dough is on point and you can tell that the house wet yeast used is well made and screams pizza made by the ocean 🌊. The White dog pizza is exceptional, the hint of lemon zest brightens the herb ricotta and gives depths to the pesto) and the Rob’s in Maui pizza 🍕 is made perfect by the pickled red onion topping!! El Segundo Hammerlocks ipa goes perfect with both pizzas. The meatballs are delicious in their light and flavorful marinara and the wings with the Santa Maria dry rub are salty goodness. If you need some greens, get the Cesar salad 🥗The staff is wonderful and kind and service is fantastic.Well done El Segundo brewing! 👍🏻👍🏻

The food and choices were great, but its a very strange way of ordering. No one tells you that you grab your own table, then you have to remember your table number and walk back to the front register to order. The register is directly inline with the front door, so people waiting to order block others from getting in to find a table. Its just not a good system or layout, but thats just my opinion. Parking is not ample since its the beach, but thats pretty standard. Since the staff was friendly, beer was good, food was tasty and served hot, I gave it 3 stars.

Excellent pizza in El Segundo. Be warned that their pizzas are huge. For a family of four, a couple of appetizers and one pizza was enough. Friendly service at this spot in downtown El Segundo. If you have a few hours layover and getting out of the LAX traffic is possible this place is a good visit.

Ordered the heirloom tomato burrata and meatballs which were both good.However, the cheese and pepperoni slices were very dry & needed more sauce. Absolute go-to for pizza in the Gundo,actually (IMO), pretty much in the South Bay too.Quatro Carne is thee best ..... just throw an egg on it the next day and its brunch if theres any left over!!!Atmosphere is loud when busy but its lively.My favorite thing about the pizza is the crust (must use 00 flour I think?) toppings are always plentiful.I ordered a small chopped salad the other day and could have probably fed a small army....I ate it for three days (super fresh!)

Went to have lunch with a friend, I was a little confused with the ordering process.. so we sat outside, waiting for a few mins and then realized we had to order...approached by a staff member a little awkwardly I think that was what made me take away those two stars from the 5. We ordered pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. It was good the sauce that came with the sticks I also good on the pizza... try it! 🌹, the atmosphere was good, calm.! No longer will you have to trek downtown or even further for some of the best pizza in LA.Because the locals behind the independantly owned and operated El Segundo Brewing Company had applied their gold-medal winning attention to detail in bring some serious pizza to the area. Yesterday was my first time there, and we ordered 2 pizzas and a side of cauliflower. I dont know why the tap was $84 for just that, but okay, a friend recommended it, so I wanted to try it.The pizzas tasted below average, good but just alright! Like a $10 one you buy on the side of the street! The Cauliflower actually tasted like someone spit in it, so it was one bite, and the rest went to trash! You would think at least with that much overcharge with bad food, you will get a great service! But No.. it was the worst thing Ive mentioned yet, yes, worse than the food! Very unfriendly like they all hated their life from the moment we walked in! The whole experience didnt make sense to me!Its not recommended and wont go there again!

Came here on my recent trip and the pizza was delicious. My boyfriend and I shared the broccolini one night and it was so good light and refreshing. We came back again and ordered the garlic knots they came out hot and delicious crispy and soft on the inside the marinara its comes with is so yummy. Both nights we ordered the Cuatros Carnes hand tossed it came out hot and fresh the slices are huge! My boyfriend tried a few of their beers and he tried Mayberry, Citra, and the Brokenskull lager he said they were all delicious but Mayberry was his favorite. If we come back to El Segundo were definitely stopping by this place again.

Slice and Pint is an excellent place to stop and enjoy some pizza and beer or wine. The down side is that in most cases, you need to order an entire pizza, but if there are 2 or more hungry people, this is never a problem. Other than that, the beer selection is a good mix of local and bulk offerings and service is wonderful.

I wanted to really like Slice & Pint. It’s local. It’s an extension of the brewery. But after multiple visits, I can say that it’s only OK. The beer and surprisingly the wine selections are solid (the Chianti and Cab are solid choices), which is why I give it as many as 3 stars. Not only do they regularly have 12 ESBC beers on tap but they have an excellent list of guest beers, which occasionally includes a nice Belgian. Also the service is pretty great (friendly, attentive, and generous), which pains me to write the rest of the review.The food, however, is subpar. While I appreciate the attention to sustainability and locally sourced ingredients, the focus on details doesn’t translate to the taste of the food. The dough of both the pizza and garlic knots is too sweet and the texture is lacking. Perhaps the omission of a wood-fired oven is the deal-breaker here. The broccolini was overcooked, as if it had been blanched before roasted. I don’t typically comment on portion size but the calamari is laughably stingy for the price tag, averting $1.80 per “strip.”Saving graces are the Italian chopped salad and the arugula salad. Here, the local ingredients get a chance to shine.I’ll probably keep coming here because it’s the only place in town my partner and I can get a decent beer and wine.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal. I took my 81 year old Mom on a Sunday evening and it was packed. There are not many individual tables, mostly community shared tables and some bar stools. Heres our thoughts:We werent crazy about their single slice so we had to buy an 18 pizza. It was a lot for 2 people but hey...Mom has leftovers for a couple of meals.Pizza was very good. We had the ham and pineapple...the crust and sauce were just right and it came out piping hot.I had a glass of their Pinot Noir on tap which I thought was a little pricy for the quality ($14). I probably wont do that again. It seems like the pint drinkers were pretty happy though.Dessert was a combination of their salted caramel chocolate chip cookie (warmed) and a scoop of ice cream. Its pretty large and the scoop of ice cream was very generous. Almost too much for 2 people...almost ;)The only negative we found was the sound. Maybe they dont want an older crowd because many people lose some of their hearing as they age. The combination of the industrial design (which lends to the sound bouncing around) and the music being so loud, I couldnt hold much of a conversation with my Mom.

I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and really liked it. For those of you that dont get it, pizza is supposed to have a little burnt on the crust-its called the best part so dont bag on the pizza saying its burnt. The service was friendly, and efficient. The best way I can describe the pizza is a cross between the east coast and the west coast. Sauce is good. cheese is good . Premium products for sure. I will be back and recommend you give it a try.

Solid place to grab a pint of El Segundo Brewing beer and solid pizza. I wasnt expecting a lot from the food but the pizza was definitely great. Garlic knots are a hard pass in the future for me, which were very bready and packed garlic punch. But the pizza is where its at. Spend the extra $3 for the pan pizza if you like thick crust... It was stellar.Great outside seating and very family friendly. All in all, would definitely go back.

They do not assign tables, its a free for all. You have to stand around awkwardly waiting for someone to leave. Everytime you want a beer or anything you have to go order it at the front and it gets brought to the table. Tables dont get cleaned unless you ask. In general your overpaying to sit in uncomfortable park benches. Saw a sign that takeout orders get an automatic 10 percent gratuity added. Thats insane, just raise your prices. Pizza was also insanely salty, crust was good.

2 strikes for this place and there wont be a 3rd. Went there a few months back for a single slice of pizza and was not wowed. Thin and soggy.Last week with my family I thought I would give them another chance. I got the primo 9x12 pan crust pizza with 2 toppings. My wife got a salad and my daughter had a slice. To be fair, the cashier mentioned the pan pizza would take longer. My wifes salad was OK and my daughters slice was as I remembered it, except hers was burnt. 20 minutes after my family was done eating I went to check on my pan pizza. They normally take about 35 minutes was the response. Based on the timestamp of our emailed receipt, this was 40 minutes after we placed the order. ONE HOUR after placing the order my pizza showed up and it looked delicious...but was anything but. I was starving but had a hard time getting through 1slice. Everything was SALTY. Sure, its pizza, itll have some salt, but even the crust by itself was saltier than a bag of fries. My wife tasted it and agreed. It was just terrible.1 9x12 pan pizza + 1 salad + 1 slice + 1 beer + generous tip = $66.XX, which is maybe a fair price if the food is really good but I wouldnt take their pizza if it was free.I want to like this place. Its owned by the El Segundo Brewing Co which is a great place to hang out and their beers are good. But 2 tries with less than mediocre results means we wont ever come back. 2 stars for the ambience and great house beer, but a pizza joint has to have good pizza if nothing else.

The oregano on the side is genius, but we ordered 2 pizzas (both requested extra parm and oregano) and only got the extras for one,, until we asked for more. Beer selection was decent. Service wasnt great - youre pretty much on your own if you want another beer or anything. I think its intended that way, but they could make it clearer. I had given up on pizza for a long time, but then we tried the Slice and Pint and its one of two pizzerias in the entire South Bay that doesnt make me sick at all and tastes amazing.The quality of ingredients shows in the flavor. The crust and cheese are two ingredients I struggled to find fresh in other restaurants, but you can tell S & P uses fresh ingredients. The crust is crispy, with soft pockets that create a beautiful landscape surrounding the pie itself. The pepperoni is perfectly spicy as well. The tomato sauce is not heavy, but adds a nice acidity that complements the cheese. The size of the slices are huge so a $22 pie goes a long way for my boyfriend and I. The staff is always friendly and the inside is spacious and clean.They follow COVID guidelines as well.This is my forever go-to pizza spot now!!!

This is a hip pizza joint in downtown El Segundo, offering pizza and beer as the name suggests. There is nothing to really distinguish the food here from any other pizza joint. They offer all the standard toppings one would expect, and will work single slices and combinations of toppings. The pizza itself is good, which is not something I would say for every pizza joint out there. The beer selection is good as well, which is a good thing with the competing restaurants in the area offering a wide variety of brews. The crowd is cool, and the staff are friendly. The whole vibe of the place is hip, with a local sports theme and a couple of TVs for sports. This is a great spot for lunch in El Segundo, or to grab a slice to finish your night out. Enjoy!

Recommended by a local friend.. Straight forward concept here... Pizza, craft beer, nice atmosphere. Our group of 3 visited the restaurant on a Friday night, approx 8 pm. There was a line to the door, however the time provided us a few minutes to graze the menu of ESBC taps, guest taps, and draft wine amongst appetizers, and of course pizzas. Pizza is available by the slice (of whats available that time/day) or a full pie. Order at the counter, and youll receive a numbered table topper to take to your seat. Pizza is delivered to your seat, about 12-15 min from the order to table for us. We stuck with a simple pepperoni pizza, ESBC beer and 2 glasses of wine from the tap. Despite not receiving a table right away due to the crowd, tables turned over fairly quickly and we were sitting within 5 min to enjoy our drinks. Upon finishing up our drinks the carryout pizza was ready to go and we headed out. Overall it was a quick seamless process with quality beer and wine.. good service.. delicious pizza.

Visited for the first time last week. We rode bicycles over and they were about to close but invited us in to enjoy a cold beverage. Even let us park our bikes inside. Friendly staff good drinks... We were too late to try the pizza but we will be back.

This place had amazing pizza (got the Cuatros Carnes, meat lover -type) and Wednesday special Chicken Parmigiano. Both were very delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Decent indoor decor with a couple TVs with games on. I would recommend this place if youre visiting for sure

The pizza here is great and I usually dont like pizza. Pair that with El Segundo brewing beer and you get a winning combination. You can make party reservations too for up to 15. Definitely coming back

Some extremely solid new york slices here. I love the fact that you can indeed order by the slice. It’s almost always pizza that’s been made however long ago and tossed back into the oven to reheat. But believe me, this is why I love it. You get the crispiness of the crust from reheating and an extra dollop of grease that forms in those perfect little pepperoni cups that then get just a hair crunchy. Pair that with some solid IPAs from ESB and you have a satisfying quick meal.

Best Pizza in LA county! Yep, beats Casa Bianca, Lamonica’s and high-end Pizzeria Mozza. Get the Pepperoni and the Benny - eat it while hot! The lemon vinaigrette on the arugula salad is the bomb, sprinkle on top of the Pepperonz. Pair with the Mayberry IPA = perfect pizza experience.

They have heaters which is a good thing as it gets cooler out. Dont go here if you want a burger. A little salty and greasy for my taste, but if I was hungover I imagine it would hit the spot. Good beer and wine selection

We went in 15 mins to closing and the woman tending to us was quite rude.She did allow us to order slices however, kept insisting we leave by 9:15.There was a large party eating, enjoying & lingering so I wonder if she advised them of the same thing.I know El Segundo & all restaurants want/need business to make up for Covid losses & weve eaten here many times and Im surprised this woman has such an attitude.So disappointing.

Pizza slices are a bit overpriced for the money, slices are inconsistent in size. If you have a large group get a full pizza not worth the individual slice. Crust is pretty good.Chicken wings I have heard have a new style of cooking so if they are not as dry or overfried as in the past I will update. The bleu cheese and bbq sauce are great.Salads...meh!Acoustic wise a bit too loud. Back room smells like diapers. I recommend open some windows!!!

Great food! The wings and Grand Avenue pizza are excellent! Broccolini was pretty tasty. Segundonator doppelbock was an excellent draft to have while waiting for our food! Hope to go back sometime soon!

We were excited to try The Slice and Pint because we love the El Segundo Brewery. I’d like to say first that the staff was great and the space was clean. That being said... be prepared for a massive kid fest and mediocre food.We found an empty, long table and sat by the wall... fully aware that another party would likely sit down on the other end of the table.We ordered a pepperoni slice, the broccoliini and cauliflower. The pizza was average and the veggies blah.Soon a woman and child sat down on the other end of the table... and then another woman and 3 more children.... then a crying baby and a husband. Pizzas were being put on the table so close to me that I could barely move. Not a word of “do you mind if we completely take over your entire space?” was uttered.Soooo if you like crying babies, entitled parents and mediocre food, then this place is for you.
