The Steakhouse Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage

Visited for a Birthday Dinner (and to play slots inside the casino). I consider this one of the best Steakhouses in the Palm Springs area. The food and drinks were amazing. And service was first class. Will definitely make a reservation to visit again when were in the area. Thank you!

Love this Steakhouse!My initial experienced wasnt that great when I arrived and spoke with one of the hostesses. Not a norm for this fine dining restaurant. So I asked for a Manager.I told the Manager, Kevin, what happened. He looked at his seating chart and he took care of us immediately. Little were they aware that I was there to update my review.WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! And what I expected was met!Because of this Manager taking the initiative to see what I expressed was true or not, andbeing checked on during our meal... Five stars across the board!Beginning with Victor (Mr. V), one of their bussers. He informed us that he had recently joined this restaurant. Very welcoming and upon bringing the first appetizer, he explained what was what (as it should be done). Then Niko (Nicolas), our server... Superb! Very exquisite, informative about the menu options and differences. Had us laughing. Was also very attentive. But truly, genuine top notch service... Beginning from the Steakhouse Manager (Kevin), our waiter (Nicolas), and our busser (Victor).As for the food... There is no way I can forget about that! The Wedge is my favorite salad here. Beautiful presentation. The Filet Mignon seared to perfection. Medium rare... How else would you have it?This Steakhouse is one of my favorites here in the desert. This is why it can be challenging to get a reservation. But I highly recommend for you to check it out.

We made 8:30 reservations. The ambiance of the place is very nice. You feel that you are eating at a great high end steakhouse.We had the hamachi appetizer and it was very good. Our server was also very nice and professional.For dinner we ordered then ribeye and the bison bone in filet. We ordered the loaded bake potatoes and spinach as sides.While m we made reservations the restaurant was not that busy and it took an hour for our steaks to arrive. I don’t mind waiting if a place is busy but I don’t think that was the case in our situation.We spent $107 dollars on the bone-in bison filet and I asked for it prepared rare. It came cooked at a medium. For the price I had to send it back and have it cooked the way I asked. When the server came back she said the chef said the ay I wanted it is called ordering it blue. Blue or rare same difference to me. I was happy they made me a new steak and this time they got the temperature in point, but by now and hour and twenty minutes in and not being able to eat wt the same time as my partner I was over it.I was happy to spend the money on the price pint of the restaurant but the prices did not reflect in the overall experience. My recommendation for someone staying at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage would be to skip the steakhouse and go to rhe 369 Sports Bar.

Great dinner experience. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. If your in Palm springs or close by and want a very good dinner, especially the steaks, this place will satisfy you. Celebrated my birthday dinner there and was very impressed.

The staff was extremely polite. Food was good, but not great. Brussels sprouts were undercooked. Lamb chops were ok

Great service. Food was on point. We had a wonderful time. Bone marrow is a must. Crab legs delicious. It was very reasonably priced. Tomahawk 32 Oz was $81. (Texas prices) Bison bone in Rib eye was $61. Cant beat the prices

One of my regular favourites until I got a bad case of food poisoning a month ago. Called and spoke to what I was told was a manager. He said that he would talk to the chef and get back to me. Three weeks later having not heard from anyone, I called back and spoke to a different fellow named Craig who said that he was the general manager. He said that he would talk to (you guessed it) the chef but that he hadn’t heard of anyone else getting sick. I pointed out that he hadn’t heard that I got sick either. So there’s that.Today I got a call from someone in “security” who “just had a few questions”. Her tone left me with the impression that I was a suspect rather than a victim of food poisoning. She said she was going to mail me some forms to fill out if I wanted compensation. Probably a better idea to have someone with some customer service training deal with a matter like this and not the person who deals with casino shenanigans. I told her to keep the forms. There are other steak houses. I don’t feel confident that they take food safety seriously. I would rather gamble in the casino than the restaurant.

Service was excellent, staff was everything I expected from a fine steakhouse. The food was well prepared and plated with attention to detail. Overall great dining experience with the minor exception of lighting. Tables could be slightly better lit and still maintain the ambiance desired.

The meal I had here was exquisite!!Melt in yr mouth popcorn shrimp with rice .Absolute heaven.Beautiful decor.Beautiful date to remember forever.

We had a pleasant time at the Steakhouse with the Casino Comp. We had a Filet Mignon and a Rib-Eye, both medium rare and a sauteed wild mushroom as a side. Both were cooked perfectly to our likeness. Will be back again for sure to try other items.
