2023-06-08 19:15:06On our way to IKEA Emeryville, we decided to have brunch first. Checked out trusty old Yelp and The Sunday popped up. And let me tell you, I cant speak highly enough of it! The lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and so good I devoured them in minutes. The fried chicken wings were outstanding. We preferred the soy garlic wings over the spicy Korean style wings, which IMO were over sauced with sweet chili sauce. Despite the modest size of the place, they offer outside seating. And if youre a spice enthusiast, they offer an impressive selection of hot sauces. Definitely worth a visit!

2023-08-13 15:30:48Loved Sundays style Asian Fusion Food. Delicious and a breath of fresh cooking. Bulgogi Eggs Benedict and Locomoco was impressive. Many of their other dishes looks fantastic. Highly recommend Sunday and get their early as seating is limited. Host is very accommodating a plus when waiting.

2023-07-11 06:43:23Saturday brunch: Close to hour wait and not sure if its worth it. Service was nice but didnt come around that much as they were really busy and it was like maybe 2 servers doing all the tables. Although it is a really small place so you might have to get cozy with your neighbors and be a part of their conversation. They have a fun little hot sauce shelf that you can choose from and I highly recommend taking advantage of this novelty. Dishes are typical bay area prices of just about everything being near 20 dollars.Get: bulgogi benedict. It represented this Korean fusion brunch place very well with that sweet marinated chicken paired with a very saucy egg over some bread. It did get really mushy and the sweetness a tad bit overpowering but overall satisfying. Nothing too special but it was funFood:7/10Service: 5/10Atmosphere: 5/10Value: 5/10

2023-01-07 03:04:43We absolutely loved the Sunday! It was a quaint little shop on Adeleine with street parking, but great service and great food! I got their French toast with eggs and bacon (the French toast was super heavy, but so good). He got their chicken sandwich which was perfectly balanced with really good sauce! We also got their bulgolgi tots which actually was so large we couldnt finish so we took them home, which was also good later! I cant wait to come back to try other things on the menu

2023-01-10 23:59:48If this restaurant gets organized, they could do well. We went to The Sunday on a Sunday and we were met with a 1.5h long wait, which was made possible by inefficient seating, short staffing, and a frenetic pace of service. The hostess was also the only waitress. There was a constant line out the door from the time we arrived to close.Lows? Many. We waited over an hour, decided to make a stop at a local coffee shop to kill some time, and came back just to wait another 30 minutes. Their waitlist estimate was inaccurate. After seating and ordering, it wasnt long before the food began coming out, but after nearly 30m of waiting we realized they completely forgot a dish - the first on the order slip.5 of us ordered tater tots (2 ways), bulgogi bowl, croffle, soyrizo hash, lemon ricotta pancake, and country fried chicken Benedict. All the items were well-executed, simple dishes, but generally under-seasoned and flat. The Benedict was missing and we were offered a discount on the dish, but when the bill came, it wasnt honored. We paid anyway to make quick business of our exit. The food was good, a half step above average, but it was outweighed by the frantic service, low inventory (nearly a quarter if not more of their menu was out), and missed entree.

2023-03-29 20:52:40Been here twice now and everything weve had were so good! We DID come back for the bulgogi tots - extra crispy, chicken Wings, and tried pancake this time. Fluffy and delish. The Loco moco we had last time was also scrumptious. Whatever you get, it wont disappoint. It gets crowded on the weekends, though, so come early or prepare to wait. The space is quaint so not toooooo many seats. Cant wait to be back!

2023-04-29 20:05:17I think the photos speak for themselves 🥵 chef Q does it again sheeeeeeshPictured: Spicy Loco Moco, French toast combo with sausage, and crofflePortions look intimidating, but always a perfect and filling meal. All the food keeps well and the quality + speed = best value. Everything is cooked perfectly and if it isn’t, they will remake it for you in a flash. The only place that I will recommend French Toast (my forever bae). Love the attention to detail down to the fruits for the desserts 💖 Not too sweet 👌Croffle with the ice cream got me craving for more now…

2022-09-21 04:43:22I’m going to be happy/sad when you all learn how yummy this new place is. Happy for the super nice owners getting well deserved business. Sad it will probably end up having a long wait to get in. Go now, before all the hipsters find out about it. Hopefully they will have a reservation system when it inevitably gets crowded. We tried a bunch of food dishes and they were all amazing. My friends had beers they liked, and I had two teas that were really yummy. The citron tea tasted like a fancy mocktail. Woman owned with her husband as the chef. Too cute. Korean - American fusion with Hawaiian influences. Portions were really big. 🤤 They had indoor and outdoor dining.

2023-03-04 18:32:04Nothing but the best things to say about this business. The people who work here put love in with the labor. The menu is fusion Korean/American and the wait to dine can be a bit frustrating… but well worth it. Shout out to the hostess Renee who was beyond awesome. Will def be back and ty again
