Was a lovely afternoon. Reservations are a MUST. Very crowded. Does a nice gluten free tea! Didnt understand why they served the scone first, before the salad and sandwiches. That did not make any sense. But the Mission Tea was plenty of food and filling. I have certainly had much better and fresher quality but still tasty and a fun day for a special occasion! Take the train and youve got a hassle free day trip!! Going back for other good next time. Want to try the Shephards pie!

We went for a birthday celebration. Our server was very sweet and attentive and made us feel special. We had one of the high tea selections. The food was very good and we were able to request all vegetarian sandwiches. The tea menu is extensive. All the charming decorations make this place very unique. Lots of good photo opportunities! I would recommend this place.

It is a lovely and charming place for tea with friends and/or family to get together. The menu has a variety of items from High Tea experience (I ordered the Victorian High Tea) to daily and brunch menu. We saw several celebrations (engagement party, baby shower, and birthday parties). Some dressed up with fasinators and others casual. It was a great day. The area itself is historical and tons of fun to just walk around.

We had a party of 10 and paid different prices than just a walk-in would, we had a 4 course lunch with 3 different teas and dessert to boot. The finger sandwiches were amazing, the tea was flavorful and robust. The atmosphere was stellar, felt like we had been transported to a different era all together. I will definitely be returning with a friend or two as the menu prices are quite reasonable for the location.

This was such a cool experience! It was a bit hard to make a reservation for a Sunday (I tried doing it online more than 2 months in advance) but there wasn’t any availability. Like the website suggested, I called and they were really nice and able to accommodate my group (make sure you get the open table confirmation!).I went for my birthday, and Susie was our server. She was soo sweet and kind. She offered great recommendations too. While both of us didn’t have to get the high tea, my friend and I both got the high tea experiences (Mission Tea and Garden Tea). There were a ton of tea options and varieties (black, green, herbal, white). The timing of the courses was perfect! Since Susie knew it was my birthday, she went out of her way to make it extra special! 😍For parking, they suggested parking at the train station parking (paid parking but very inexpensive) or at the park. From there, it’s a short walk across the train tracks.

What a lovely tea house. This was my first time ever going to a tea house and it was a wonderful experience. The service was good, accommodating and kid friendly. The food was delicious and they had a wide verity of tea. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves tea or a wonderful brunch and fabulous atmosphere.

Had the best lunch with my daughter on a weekday before Mothers Day. The weather was nice, we were seated on a patio with view of garden. Very beautiful decor. Great teas to choose from. We were served a wonderful scone to start. Had great selection of finger sandwiches and a small sweet to end the meal. I will definitely go back. A great special occasion place for lunch with the girls or a birthday or shower.

Super quaint place here! It’s perfect for birthdays and special events. Lots of character with excellent tea and food. I recommend the scones and the salmon with the Queens tea if you want lots of caffeine in your cup. There is a parking lot but it’s small so you’ll have to find parking in other spots nearby

Expect the unexpected here: bees trying to disturb your peace, $5 up charge of avocado (without being told there was a charge. As it was presented it comes with a choice), and slow service.I’ve always wanted to come here and I’m glad I tried it. I won’t be back unless I’m here for a group event. There are plenty of other brunch spots. But for this particular high tea vibe is exactly what it is.We had a reservation, but weren’t seated until everyone arrived. They sat us at a nice big table in the back. Super cute and private. Once the food started arriving, so did the bees. It was disappointing that nothing was done about it. The staff also clearly saw us struggling with these bees. It wasn’t just one bee. It was multiple. And enough to really not allow you to swallow your food. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. But the service of the food was slow. It felt like I was there for hours (I was)The food was good. I got the duchess salad. Very flavorful and fresh. Server asked if I wanted chicken or avocado. I said avocado (on the menu it says it was a choice of chicken and salmon) so I assumed avocado was just not being upcharged since he presented it with those two choices. When I got the check $5 upcharge! It’s not a big deal. Only $5 but it would’ve been nice to know prior. My friend got the royal high tea. Like I said. It’s a full experience. But I wouldn’t think it’s worth the $80 for tea and a few small sandwiches. Conclusion: don’t come here for a quick brunch. Come here with a group, for an event, and a high tea experience. Expect to be here a while.

I had the most extraordinary high tea experience recently. From the moment I stepped into the charming venue, I was enchanted by its unique ambiance. The tea sets were exquisite, each piece a work of art, and the presentation of the food was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors of the teas and treats were a delightful symphony for the taste buds. This experience was truly unlike anything Ive encountered before, and I cant wait to return for more.
