Wanted to write this review because in particular Eric is awesome and really truly knows craft beer. A delight to talk to and we had a great dinner and many top notch and interesting brews.

The on tap beer selection is weak but they have tons of choices for canned beer as well. People tell me they really like the food. I had the sliders and they were pretty good. The scene is diverse in age, style, and background, which makes it a pretty awesome place to hang out. The live shows are usually good, but conversation ends when the music starts cause its loud.Happy hour food is off the charts!

The Pinkys up cocktail, plus the pickled deviled eggs, paired with the beer cheese soup made me feel foodie pleasure in a way that republicans would try to criminalize. The rotating specials menu is always an incredible pair to their cocktails

Well folks, they did it!!! The Goose is officially back and absolutely amazing as ever. They have made the devil eggs even better. And the chowder.... well .... DAMN DELICIOUS!!!!! On a cold rainy day to be sitting in the goose surrounded by familiar folks faces signs and food absolutely mind blowing. Huge congrats you guys!!!!

We are here at the new location for the first time. (We loved the old restaurant/bar) Quality is great. The Pickled eggs are exceptional! I had Burger Sliders and She had the chicken topped salad. 3 beers too. The owners captured the same “vibe” in the new location. I recommend this place.

The beer tenders are knowledgeable and friendly - they are always able to suggest an excellent beer for me and they are very personable. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, and the selection of beers is excellent and well thought out. There are other tap houses in town with more beers but the Goose always seems to have the *best* beers. My favorite tap house in Chico :-)

The Goose is a fantastic place that draws in all the best locals. It is dog friendly and you can be sure to make a couple of new pooch friends while youre there. Though Ive yet to try it, all my friends rave about their extremely simple daily food item(s). The beers are absolutely fantastic and... very expensive for Chico. That is probably my one and only complaint.

Really great beer selection and a different feel from other Chico bars. Ive had a few runins with really unfriendly bartenders, but the regulars say thats part of the experience. If you love unique craft beer, the Goose is a spot you should check out.

Really cool atmosphere just too damn expensive. They have beer and wine. The bar tender was super nice. They also have cbd which is cool. They do serve food. You can bring yoir dogs here which to me is the best part. Their was also super cool artwork hung up around and they apparently switch the art every few weeks. I had a good time just a little pricey is all.

Small pub type bar with cozy atmosphere. Offer brew pub beers, each time you visit there will be different choices with samples to choose from. Bartender was nice and attentive.Will definitely return again.

Great beer selection, great food, casual but way better than your usual pub fare. Ciders, Kombucha and wine ate also available. Knowledgable bar tenders. Tell them what you like and they will find a beer to match

A minimalist bar with regard to decore, that has retained the brickwork from the original, antique building. Certainly a very nice neighborhood bar, though geared more for the millennial set. Go here to experience sophisticated bar fare and an atypical range of California-crafted brews. Bring your dog!

Chef Emily is one of best hidden secrets of Chico! Her menu is packed with delicious meals that you only find in high end restaurants & if your vegan or vegetarian, she has you in mind (I highly recommend her vegan sliders or the beet bruschetta). The staff is great and friendly and the Goose always has great beers on tap!

Friendly neighborhood bar just south of downtown. Good and thoughtfully prepared food and a generous beer list plus wines and ciders. Tapas style bar bites, salads, panini sandwiches, and charcuterie trays with house cured bacon.
