Amazing quality & fresh VEGAN food! #18 is the vermicelli bowl w/2 spring rolls - which has chopped lettuce underneath the rice noodles (so it looks like a lot. FYI, getting extra food in a Chinese restaurant is awesome & a blessing!!!) This dish was served with vegan fish sauce! (*I tried asking for the secret recipe & was denied 🤣). My mom wanted the tomato-based soup w/noodles, which was delightful! I really like the house-made tofu because they tasted like fish cakes! We had spring rolls w/peanut sauce (because we requested to it instead of fish sauce) and that was light & flavorful too. I ordered the #6 which the pan fried thick rice noodles w/veggies - this has been my favorite! (Sorry I didn’t include a pic…I ate it too quickly!) Overall, the staff is friendly & knowledgeable of vegan food. I think the prices are very good for unique, tasty, & fresh VEGAN food! I would come back again ❤️

First this is Vietnamese vegetarian. We had the spring roll appetizer with veggie shrimp. One of the best if not the best spring roll I have had in a restaurant. When we do spring rolls at home, we set out a variety of meats, tofu, veggies and lots of fresh mints. Our whole family loves extra mint and these rolls had plenty where most places put literally only a couple of leaves. We had wide noodles with veggies and veggie meats, and the veggie soup with vermicelli pork belly and other soy meats, served pho style with mints, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage. jalapeños. etc. Both dishes were as good or better than other places serving meat. Purchased some vegan spicy flavored soybean Jerry to go. We will definitely be back! Note closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

This remains one of my husbands favorite restaurants hes ever been to (mostly based on the menu selections). We had moved away and came back to visit family and made sure to visit this restaurant too.I had #22 or 24 (cant remember which, the one with lemongrass), he had #17. The chicken was very flavourful!We had our toddler with us and were surprised the restaurant didnt have booster seats. It wasnt a big deal for us, we usually keep one in the car just in case.The dining room can feel cramped during lunch and dinner rush, but if youre looking for a quick place to eat with many vegetarian options, this is a good spot!

This is a small family run business in a strip mall, nice and clean.Tasty in flavor, big in portion, very reasonable in price. Orders come out fast regardless it is the busy lunch hours.Recommended items: all soup noodles item, plus # 9, 19, and 23.

This restaurant is located in a small plaza with limited parking space. Overall the food was ok. We just happened to ordered the wrong one that we were not thrilled about. I had #18 which was supposed to be a vegan version of #19 but instead of having the fake meat, they gave me spring roll. I thought that had egg in it, no?! Anyway....disregard, I had it. The other one is #15 which was a popular item on the menu. Yet it has too much rice noodles. Not as spicy as we expected. Its still pretty flavorful tho. I dont love this place but think it is pretty okay and decent.

Seriously. These folks here serve quality vegan foods in generous portion sizes at a very fair price. As a long time vegan, most vegan/vegetarian restaurants that I have ate at typically serve average quality foods that are expensive and greedy with their portions.Not here.These people here are genuinely kind quality folks with positive attitudes that are running the show the way it should be done.Even my friends and family that eat meat say that this restuarant serves some of the best food theyve ever had. The food is great! Presentation is pleasing and aesthetic. Taste is amazing and authentic. The staff is very polite, and knows about everything on the menu. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants where the staff either had a hard time explaining things or had to ask questions from other staff. Not at this place. The quality of the food is fresh and carefully prepared. I would visit about 1-2 times a week when I lived close by. Even the desserts are amazing and freshly made, same day. I always tried something new and was never disappointed! I can’t say that about a lot of places. My mouth is watering already! I need my fix soon! Get yours, too. You won’t regret this pleasant experience.

To be honest I did not know what to expect. I have never had a Vietnamese Vegetarian food before even I used to love Vietnamese food when I lived in Sydney. They open from 9-3 and then re-open at 5-8. Service is very good. Cash only. We ordered Lemongrass Chicken ( very flavourful and not tough), Spring Rolls (with Taro - this is my least favourite) Bun Hue (Noodle soup with tofu, mushrooms, Bean Sprout, Thai Basil and Mint), Sour soup (even it is too sweet for my taste, but I still like it), it has pineapple, mushrooms, bean sprout, tofu. The sour soup does not have noodle in it just soup. Well definitely come back! :-)

Amazing Vietnamese food! Tiny space, but clean and welcoming. Everything we ordered was excellent. You didn’t get the sense that the dishes were lesser versions of a traditional meat based dish. One of my greater LA favorites. Parking is very limited. Apparently it’s crazy busy on certain days when much of the community observes a meatless diet.

Hands down the best Vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant in the SGV area and Ive been to quite a few now. I would recommend getting there before popular times because there will be a line, but if you do it will be worth the wait. The staff is great, food even greater and healthy. I never leave feeling too full and sluggish, so thats also a plus. Give this place a try!

I got the 3 veggie shrimp egg rolls and my sister got the pho. I was surprised how tasty and full the egg rolls were, pretty much the same as animal rolls. My sister didnt like the veggie meat texture, it was a bit chewy for her, she eats animals tho. I drank the pho broth and it was delicious but I didnt know the noodles were egg for some of the pho so my mistake. I had no idea so many of the items were plant-based/vegan due the to restaurant name saying Vegetarian. I would like to try the Hainan veggie Chicken and more in the future!Small amount of parking, does have dine in.

THE BEST VEGAN FOOD EVER! We live very far from El Monte, but whenever we are visiting LA area this is MUST VISIT AND EAT place. Their vegan “meat” is so real that I always ask how they make it. I wish I know, but it is this wonderful family secret. I love love love what they do. I think they make the best Pho in the world.

Definitely an interesting take on vegetarian food. Its a good place but somehow I craved a little more. The egg roll noodles didnt have enough egg roll for my taste. The minty, fresh flavors were there but I was missing the savory. Good but not great. The service is friendly and relaxed.

An amazing vegetarian, vegan Vietnamese place! Their vegan pho is the best around. Ive taken non-vegan friends there and they come back on their own. They really have gone the extra mile to try and include various textures and ingredients to replicate what you would get in a traditional pho. Admittedly, I almost always get pho because its so good but their vermicelli is really good as well. Recently I had a stuffed crepe dish that was great. I even ate it cold since I had it to go for a later meal. It can get busy during the lunch rush but its worth it.

Im a regular here. If you want good, healthy vegitarian food that fills you up, but wont leave you feeling stuffed, this is THE place.They use very little spices or condiments, relying instead on the main ingredients for flavor. Hardly anything is fried. About 90% of your plate will be fresh vegtables. Whole food at its best!Be aware that this place is all about the food, period. If youre expecting fancy decor, youll be dissapointed. The portions are generous without being too much.The service is professional, but dont expect fake smiles. On the weekends count on waiting in line outside for a table to open up. People are willing to wait for one reason: the food.

Decent food, but not worth going out of your way. Most dishes rely too much on imitating meat and then they skimp on the imitation meat and overload you with carbs/noodles. Personally, I prefer losing all of the imitation meat and adding a lot more fresh and flavorful vegetables and mushrooms. But, Im just passing through.

Any Vietnamese dish youre craving for is here, done in a vegetarian style.I ordered the Bun Hue, which was the vegan equivalent of the Bun Bo Hue soup (pork knuckle, boiled pigs blood in a spicy soup). It was just as flavorful as the original, but lighter since the meat is replaced with a medley of meat - tofu and bean curd cooked in different ways.Friendly service. Small place, came on a Saturday afternoon. Few patrons so seating was easy. This place is located in a strip mall and could be easy to miss. There was enough parking, likely due to the surrounding stores being closed on the weekends.

Definitely the best place for vegetarian food in Vietnamese style. We ordered Vietnamese salad with fish sauce (make by honey and lemon) and hai nam chicken rice, and it is very delicious and not heavy at all. Even though this is a small place where sometimes need to wait for a seat but it is worth to wait in my opinion. It is because their food is in good quality and healthy as well. Also, it is not very expensive in vegan style too.I recommend their hai nam chicken rice (veggie), Vietnamese salad, and rice vermicelli with hue based soup because it is very good in my opinion.

I could say that this is one of the best ramen that Ive had. It is not like those ramen house that will shoot your sodium intake high up above to heavens (although of it does have saltiness in it) but when youre done eating your noodles you can actually drink the leftover soup base. The place may not be that impressive but it is decent enough it is Naruto (Anime) themed so for those anime fanatics it is a must to come over here and try their food. Its one of LAs most delicious vegetarian Vietnamese dishes. Its inexpensive and full of flavor.Time to go to have to wait in line too, but not long.
