2023-11-15 04:20:07I was craving dumplings and this spot was around the corner. It’s a solid spot for lunch.I ordered the pork and fried rice salt pepper squid, beef noodle soup and dumplings, followed with their milk tea. All were pretty good with the calamari being my favorite. Overall descent dining experience a great dumpling spot.I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu spot. This place gets busy, it was already full by the time it opened.

2023-11-27 16:33:01I typically go further west for dim sum or any type of Asian food. It was really excited to try this place because it’s more local to me in West Covina it’s definitely a solid spot. I had been wanting to come for a while. If you have a craving and don’t want to plan a day around going west or don’t have the time I would say this is a great place to go. It did you get busy and you can reserve online which I really liked. It is a great location as well. The food is overall really good. I am going to be returning to try some different items. Definitely a must try spot.

2023-11-03 17:08:51Arrived on Saturday and was pretty busy. They have a QR code to scan to get on the wait list. It works really well, it refreshed often and shows how many people are in front of you. Our wait wasnt bad, we got seated in about 15 minutes which matched what was displayed on the Google maps time graph. Being our first time we wanted to try a good assortment. Although the dumbling skin and fillings were tasty, IMO one accompanying item can push it to deliciousness and thats the chili oil. It was not spicy enough and it was heavy on the five spice. Salt and Pepper Squid was fried really nice, but had too much five spice seasoning too. If you love 5 spice this is your place. Lol

2023-12-05 20:39:25THUMBLING in Covina, California, boasts a hidden culinary gem: an affordable and delightful dumpling restaurant known for its mouthwatering xiao long bao. Tucked away in this vibrant city, the restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience without breaking the bank. The star of the menu undoubtedly is the xiao long bao, delicate steamed dumplings filled with flavorful broth and savory meat. Each bite-sized parcel bursts with rich flavors, delivering an authentic taste reminiscent of traditional Shanghai cuisine.Beyond the xiao long bao, the restaurant presents an array of sumptuous dumpling options, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether steamed, pan-fried, or boiled, these dumplings maintain consistent quality and taste. The restaurants ambiance exudes a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for intimate gatherings or casual dining experiences. The staff members are attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive dining encounter. While the affordability is a huge draw, especially for the quality offered, the popularity of this establishment might result in crowded seating during peak hours. Additionally, parking availability around the area could vary depending on the time of visit. In conclusion, this Covina dumpling restaurant is a must-visit for dumpling aficionados seeking authentic xiao long bao and an extensive selection of delectable dumplings at wallet-friendly prices. Its a culinary haven that delivers on taste, affordability, and a memorable dining experience.

2023-11-24 22:10:03Good food but the best but good. Xiao long bao is a little watery. Pan friend bun is too doughy with smaller pork filling. Menu choices are amazing. Service is friendly and efficient. Worth coming if in the area! There’s always a line up but you can have bar seating .

2023-10-21 05:40:17Food was amazing but the wait can be really bad. Consequently, it can get really crowded inside. The ordering system is pretty cool; its by phone and you dont have to order with servers.

2023-11-11 22:12:04Got there at 11:30am. Only waited 10 mins on a Saturday. Order through your phone which was pretty effortless. Food came out fast as well. We got the pork xiao long Bao, pork wonton soup, popcorn chicken, cucumber salad, fried pork chop, and beef tenderloin udon. Everything was pretty good. The pork xiao long bao was our favorite. Overall good experience.

2023-09-28 06:31:17The food was great, the only thing is they sat us in a bar area instead of a table. It was still okay, the food was great, had enough left overs for the next day! I would definitely go back, but would prefer to sit in a table. The lines are usually long but they go by quickly.

2023-11-16 23:47:55Their pan fried buns matched with fried beef udon noodles was the perfect lunch. You scan their QR code at the door to join the waitlist. We didn’t wait too long, and once you’re seated you scan another QR code to order. The restaurant is bit crowded but they have more comfortable seating since they now have bench seating.
