This is a small diner with real, authentic, homemade Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Great food in that perspective. Really helpfull with gluten allergy. Fast service. Woikd love to come back :-)
Such courteous people. Location is rather convenient coming from UCSF after a long day of work/studies. Food is good, cheap naan, and relatively fast service! Love their paneer tikka masala and their samosas!
Good neighborhood spot! Their namesake sauce is really really good! My favorite is the paneer tikka masala version. I like the non pretentious atmosphere inside and the self serve chai!
I was really disappointed by the Saag Paneer. This is usually my favorite go to Indian dish that is always good. It was was pretty flavorless and didnt seem like it was properly prepared.
Mixed feelings. If you dont know to make masala chai, please dont make it. Channa samosa was not ok. Mutter paneer was decent.

Garbage food last nite we order chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala all I can taste was just cream no flavors. Very disappointed.

2019-03-17 14:30:32This place is great if you like Induan food. Accommodations were easily made for my dairy allergies. You must order at the counter and get your own water from the cooler. A number on a stick is provided, after your order, is placed so they know to whom the food is delivered. The food was cooked and delivered quickly. Great Indian cuisine.

2019-12-12 03:40:11As a small business owner myself I don’t like to leave bad reviews. But I went there tonight. Walked in. No acknowledgement or eye contact from the owner. He was on the phone so I gave him the benefit of the doubt he was just busy and we seated ourselves.10 minutes passed. Nothing.I walked to the front and picked up some menus. The presumable owner mumbled something while multi tasking so I assumed it meant “I’ll be with you shortly”.We looked at the menu awhile. The owner/manager started arguing loud in Punjabi with the cook. Awkward.Several people wandered in to pick up take out orders and they were immediately acknowledged.This went on for another 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement that we were even there so we left.We told the staff why we’re leaving and they didn’t even bother to look up from whatever they were doing.I’d avoid this place or at best - order delivery. They clearly give zero sh—’s about customer service.

2018-08-10 01:20:54Best Indian food Ive had in San Francisco. The restaurant itself is a little small but very cozy and the owner makes you feel very welcome. You must try the lamb saag, or chicken tikka, they are my fav and came out delicious. I will be back for sure!

2019-01-04 21:33:13Skip it. Tikka Masala was watery and underseasoned with bland dry chicken, naan tasted mainly of uncooked flour, and the samosas were good, if doughy. Friendly staff, poor food for the price.

2017-12-04 23:21:46Free Chai and nice, clean food. I was hankering for some chana masala and naan after feeling homesick, and this place hit the spot. My only gripe would be that it could do with a little more spicy, especially if you see an Indian/Pakistani customer walk in!

2018-06-10 03:51:50There is an old man who is very rude. He drove away an american customer because he unknowingly asked for only a Naan to go. He wasnt even courteous enough to give him more details about Indian food since the customer wasnt very knowledgeable about Indian food.
