I have been here a handful of times, whenever I happen to be anywhere close. I absolutely love how randomly delicious the menu is.Today my wife had a Spam Kimchi sandwich while I had Meat Lovers Pizza with Ranch sandwich, and of course the Crazy Tots are amazing too!

Ordered the Apple corned beef sandwich. Saw a review about too much mayo but the recipe with the aioli is good and made the sandwich. There was a lot of aoili sauce on the Cole slaw with sliced apples & raisin. That is why it’s a messy food but there’s napkins. If you’re eating in car, use a lot of paper towels.

Timmys is my new favorite women owned restaurant in placerville. Our boba steak sandwich was so good to eat after I recovered from the aneurism I suffered from reading the menu. On top of the food quality, the graphic design on the signage was unmatched. The male owner of this woman owned restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back!

Passing by Placerville on the way to Tahoe and we decided to stop by this place. We knew going into this that the food options will be wacky and out there. Let me tell you though that although theyre wacky, the food combinations work incredibly well.Strong recommendations towards the dumpling cheeseburger and the strawberry and feta sandwich.

This place is incredibly legit - I can’t say enough good things about the food / service. If you go here - toy won’t regret it!11/10 - taste. Even though it took 45mins to get the sandwiches, it worth! (They give you an alarm so you can explore while you are waiting) we got chicken satay and banh mi, and both were very flavorful. I recommend chicken satay more. It has caramelízales flavor, and sth crunchy inside.

Wow!!I would give this place 10 stars if I could, they’ve got the best sandwiches I’ve ever had anywhere. And after decades of traveling that says a lot. I ordered the honey walnut prawns sandwich, and my wife had the chicken sandwich; it was enough for two meals each . Very unique sandwiches and very delicious.

Do yourself a favor and go here and get the Bahn Mi! The service is incredible first and foremost and the sandwich was ridiculously good. If you think its just a sandwich shop youre wrong... While enjoying my meal with a couple of coworkers we talked to the gentleman across from us and he traveled up from the Bay area to see what the hype was and he was enjoying every bite!

One of the most creative and fun-filled dining experiences I have ever had. Tim really pushes the boundaries of what you can put into a sandwich. His creations astound the mind and palette and make it so challenging to select a sandwich from the menu as youll want to try so many of the different creative concoctions hes derived. Imagine taking a signature dish from cuisines around the world pairing it with an array of sauces and even snack foods from that region and putting that all in a sandwich. The man is a creative genius.We had the honey walunut prawn sandwich, the cauliflower 65, and Madras Curry fries.

A must try! Little spot located in the heart of old town Placerville right off the main strip. Found this place on Yelp and Im glad I went. I had the Picnic Sandwich and it was really good. Im definitely going back to try a bunch of the other sandwiches like the fried oyster and their version of a PB&J. All of their sandwiches have unique names and ingredients. Ill definitely be back with friends and family. The service is also very good and friendly!

An interesting little place for sure. We stopped in to try it out after hearing several people recommend this place. The menu changes a lot or so we have herd 🤔 it is definitely hard to read that’s for sure. We tried the hamburger that they had just added to the menu and it was very tasty, but they where out of tater tots 😞☹️

The ordering situation and menu were hectic, and felt crowded even though only a few people were there. They had to make a substitution on one of our sandwiches even though it was on the printed menu. There are weird political stickers on the door that felt pointed at me while I waited, and seemed to imbue the sandwiches with un-lunchlike baggage while eating, which also seemed very light on protein. Overall its fine. There are a LOT of good lunches for $15. Im probably not going there again.

Probably the most innovative sandwiches Ive ever eaten. The first few bites were explosions of flavors. We tried the spam sandwich and the chicken satay one. They were amazing.It did seem like they were a little too much, each sandwich was two meals and were really messy to eat without a fork and knife. Would have appreciated if wet wipes were handed out with the brown bags. Theres no restroom nearby and you will find yourself stuck with sticky hands but mouth and stomach still enjoying the deliciousness of the sandwiches!Might try again.

What do I say? This place is killer!! Eclectic doesnt begin to describe it. You cant go wrong no matter what you choose. Beware of the lack of seating so be prepared to take it to go or eat outside. I brought my mom and got some curry fries, the cooks heard her say to me that she didnt like them and without asking they just showed up with more fries with no curry and regular ketchup. That may seem like a small thing but it made a huge impact. I had the vegetarian bahn mi and it might have been the best sandwich Ive ever had. I will absolutely be back next time Im in town.

I heard some positive buzz about this place and decided to give it a try. It was a busy Sunday at lunch. I was second in line and ordered the chicken satay sandwich. It took 35 minutes before they called out my order, but that would be ok if it lived up to the hype.It didnt. I couldnt even taste the chicken satay. The only flavors were mayonnaise, peanut butter, mayonnaise with a crunch (cole slaw), and more peanut butter. It was dripping mayonnaise everywhere. Hands down the worst sandwich Ive ever had. To be fair, If I had said no mayonnaise, light peanut butter, I might have been able to taste the chicken satay, and it might have been decent. Ill never know.

One of the best restaurants in El Dorado County. Been coming since they opened in 2016 and I’ve never had a bad sandwich. They have a wide range of choices so that everyone can find something they like. Plan for a 10-15 min wait while they make everything fresh. Staff are awesome and always friendly.

The sandwiches were amazing, though very messy. They were mobbed, so we were lucky to get anything. As we left, we saw them turning people away. Also, no parking nearby. There was a lot, but it was full, so we had to park a block east near the Round Table. The seating is just picnic tables in the alley, which has plants and stuff, but its still kind of an alley.So not the most convenient lunch spot, but it was worth the effort for us.

Timmys BROWN BAG is our favorite eating establishment to stop at when driving east to Lake Tahoe. They create amazing sandwiches through interesting combinations of fresh and tasty ingredients. I chose a decadent fried bologna sandwich with Havarti (pure heaven) while my wife chose the chicken satay sandwich - again amazing! Been going there for years and have never been disappointed. So many delicious combinations to choose from! Highest recommendation!

Second time visiting, I got the crunchy grilled cheese sandwich (with cheez it’s, Cheetos etc) and the truffle tots.For an $18 meal I’m highly disappointed by what I received (portions were huge but overall was upsetting)I picked up my meal and as soon as it was finished and then I drove home which took about 10 minutes.I got home and my sandwich was very soggy with marinara sauce drenching everything. That’s all I tasted was the marinara sauce, the cheese, and the bread which really bummed me out because I was hoping to get all the flavors and textures. (Last time I was here I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was amazing..)And then the tots were sooo salty they were hard to eat. I definitely recommend taste testing what you guys make so you can continue having customers but I wish I could get a refund honestly. 😔

These sandwiches are amazeballs!! This is the favorite lunch spot for both my sons, my husband, and myself. My favorite is the Sauté! Its like a Thai Curry Chicken sandwich with slaw- OH! So good!! And MESSY!! They give you a lot of napkins, because youre going to need them! My younger sons fave is the Bahn-mi, my husband and older son always order the Buffalo. During lent we order the meatless: grape and cheese (I dont remember the name but its better than any dessert) the shrimp sandwich or the Grilled Cheese (not your normal Grilled Cheese). What ever you order, its not what youd normally expect from a sandwich place, but its GOOD!

Delicious food! Their beer braised chicken sandwich and Italian sausage sandwich were great! We had the truffle tots, and while they were good, I couldnt taste the truffle on them, but its not enough to take off a star. I love the unique combinations of flavors they offer. Its a very small place, but the owner and employees are very friendly and accommodating. Put in your order and then go browse at the two shops next door. The chocolate shop has yummy treats and the gift shop has a great selection of beautiful jewelry. Also, just a heads up, this sandwich spot is the place to go if youre having a leisurely day relaxing because it does take quite a bit of time for your food to come out, so if you have just a half hour for lunch, maybe stop by some other time. In my opinion the food is worth it and I love supporting a small-town eatery that genuinely loves doing what they do.

Before coming here, I never liked mushrooms. There was also a vegetarian option. $3.75 for a decent sized taco and totally worth the price. Great hospitality too! Lots of interesting and unique choices on menu, shame it almost gave me a sesiure trying to read it. I ordered a bean based sandwich with Indian spices. It was delicious but, I regretted it later that evening . The portion was generous enough, I found it a bit pricy at almost 12$ a sandwich. This Placerville sandwich gem is so good that I dont really want to review it. Because I want it to myself... The most adventurous menu you have ever seen, Thai food often used in odd mixes, fried food galore and typically an oddity on each item (poprocks on a sandie anyone?). I dont know how they still manage to squeeze in some healthy stuff also, but they do.The menus are almost completely unreadable which makes it even more fun. Always new things on the menu.The place is also ridiculously fun! Good music, great food and often a fun chat. Its a reviving experience at lunch time!

We had the Banh sandwich with Chinese sausage And crunchy wasabi peanuts? That’s crazy! But it was awesome. The lemon pepper fries were crispy and hot but ask for less lemon pepper. We had a great time sitting at the counter talking to Timmy and his career change from architecture to sandwich creator. It’s a tiny space but the crew pumps out great sandwiches. When we walked up to the restaurant the cook was yelling at the front office clerk. We placed our order and paid and noticed that the Cook was not wearing a face mask. When we asked him to put a face mask on while making our food he aggressively declined.
