This place is my go-to restaurant for inexpensive, simple yet delicious noodle soup.I had the combo noodle soup. It had shrimp, chicken, and veggies; it was delicious. My partner had beef stew, which was also delicious. Give this restaurant a try. You wont regret it. 😋

Still the best Beef Stew Noodle I can find in Sacramento after all these years. I thought all places would make it somewhat similar. I’ve gone to other restaurants and the beef and tendon is usually quite tough to chew. Never had to experience that at TK Noodle. The beef and tendon is always on point and soup flavor is consistent. FYI, the order only comes in large so make sure you are hungry. The only places I have been able to find better beef noodles is in Vancouver, Canada. I have been coming to this TK Noodle since it opened back in early 2000. The service has gotten so much better over the years and no matter how busy, service is always quick. Make sure to waive them down if you need more water. They won’t come to you however there has been rare occasions that someone came to refill water without being asked. That’s how it’s always been though. So the Beef Stew Noodle comes with a piece of lime. I like to squeeze the lime juice into the soup and then put the slice of lime in my water. Just a thought for you. Unfortunately I only get the Beef Stew Noodle here because it’s the only place I can get my fix. Pho can be found almost everywhere.

Been eating here for at least 20 years. #8 or #9 are my favorites. Comes out fast & hot. Noodles are bouncy. I love all the meat, shrimp and garnishes that come on top. Portions are big and filling. I add their house made chili oil. Oh SO good!The place is airy, theyre always refilling the condiments. Service is straightforward and efficient. Prices are cheap for nice big bowl of soup. 🍜 Ill always be a loyal customer.

We shopped at SF supermarket and saw that the restaurant was crowded. So, we decided to try it for lunch. We were lucky that we were seated right away despite the line. We ordered combination crispy noodle & fried rice. It took some time to get our food after we ordered (about 20mins) but we understood that they were quite busy. Service was really non-existent - we had to call the servers for extra plate & water refill.- combination crispy noodle: ok. The noodle was crispy. It had some pieces of protein and lots of cabbage.Could have given a little bit more soup so it’s easier to eat the crispy noodle. The taste was full on MSG and salt.- fried rice: portion was small with very little pieces of protein & egg. The taste was pretty bland.We won’t be coming back since the taste was blah…

Had the #6. Have been here every now and then for the last 10+ years thanks to a friend who introduced me to this place way back. Ive only tried their noodle dishes and Ive had overall more positive experiences than negative. 4 stars means food is good and would come back again but did not blow my mind. Service is also hit or miss but today it was quick and the food hit the spot.

Really overpriced for a soup, rice dish and 2 drinks. The flavor for both dishes was tasteless and boring. I had to dump a lot of hoisen sauce in the soup due to how bland the taste is. The service was horrible and the woman behind the register rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to repeat the price again. The place also seemed very unsanitary. Would not come back here again, very disappointing.

I ended up leaving without the food because the lady ringing up was so rude I couldnt take it. I had to spend my money somewhere else sometimes its not just about the food but how you treat and talk to your customer when they are there to support you. I dont go back and forth arguing about it. Ive just started leaving my experience and refuse to spend my money at places like this

The #3 is the best bowl with extra pork skins. I love the fat noodles. I wish the staffs were friendly but they can be rude or indifferent. Is it that hard to refill my water. Sheesh. Other than that, 4 stars for the noodles.

What happened to this place? We used to come here frequently many years ago when we shopped for Chinese food next door. At that time, the food was higher quality, fresher and service was better. Came in today for lunch and ordered the combination chow mein dish @ $8.50. The restaurant was about half full at the time so it wasnt like the waiters were struggling to keep up with the orders. My dish was a little slow to arrive but it did arrive hot and I am giving it a star here for the large portion size. I didnt order the crispy version of this dish but the noodles around the edges were crispy anyways. I poked around to dig out the noodles hiding under the meat and veges. I was expecting to encounter a stir-fried texture but was disappointed to find them waterlogged and soggy instead. The meat was ok, a little bland but nothing that couldnt be helped along by the various condiments arranged against the wall like sriracha, vinegar, Chinese chili sauce, etc. Biggest disappointment was the shrimp. The thing about shrimp is that it has to be really, really fresh to taste good and that just wasnt the case here. In addition, the proper way to prepare fresh shrimp includes thoroughly removing the black line that runs along one side of every shrimp. That line is the shrimps digestive tract so what you are removing is actually shrimp poop. You can see where I am going here. The few shrimp that were on the plate all tasted yucky and when I found out why, I stopped eating them entirely. The broccoli and other veges were good - crispy and fresh so another star for that but all in all, I will probably pass on TK Noodle in the future.

This place is always busy and noisy during lunch time and dinner time. Sometimes you have to wait in line to get your table. We used to come here a lot before pandemic. Have tried a lot of items on the menu and liked most of them. They take your order and bring you food fairly quickly. Servers are usually prompt but not so courteous.

TK Noodles always hits the spot. They are closed on Thursdays just so you guys know. The service is fast and the food comes out great with amazing consistency time and time again. The seating is a bit of a pain if you have larger parties but it is what it is. Worth the hassle for the tasty bowls of noodles. Oh and dont forget to add some pork cracklings to your order to turn it up. Enjoy.

Several friends have told to me try this place. Noodle soup was OK. The taro cake was think sliced and not too many pieces. No taro flavor but tasted peanut. It was $10! I didnt get to see the bill when I paid, it had $3 charged on my bill??? Didnt see it till I got home. Felt they are not very honest. Wont go back again.

I got the #1 which is the rice stick combination noodle. The most popular item on the menu or even the #3 which they just add 5 wontons in it but I like the #1 which is what I used to get when I was a child. If you live in Sac TK Noodle is at least one of the top 5 noodle restaurants out here just because of there fat noodles. But the #1 is good though from the noodles to the broth and the meats they put in there, I mostly like the chicken they have in there but they also put in meatballs and pork as well but you also can ask them to not put in any of that if you want. The veggies is beansprouts, and cilantro mostly and they also add like 2 pieces of shrimp but if you trying to get extra shrimp do charge extra but other than that its a well known old childhood spot for many local ppl that lives in Sac and to people that dont live in Sac likes to come out of to eat TK noodle and the broth is always good the way it is already. I usually dont add any condiments to my broth cus thats how good it should be already. Only cons I have is that I think their portion size became slightly a little smaller then how it was before and they need to separate the noodles more, I hate when the noodles are stuck to eachother because it makes it seems like youre eating the size of a string cheese flat looking noodle other than that 8/10

Ive been coming here with my family for probably 10 years now and always get the same thing: beef balls with white rice noodles, #4 on the menu. In recent years, I have noticed some changes: fewer and smaller sized beef balls, only one size option, and a recipe change for their chili. I personally like to order separate soup so I can douse my noodles with the chili because it smells and tastes good without being overly numbing. It used to smell better in the past, but in the present the scent is still decent. The service is what you can expect from an Asian restaurant, which is so-so. You dont go to an Asian restaurant with superb customer service in mind (granted some restaurants do have exceptional service, but most do not). Interior wise, there hasnt been any major changes and the place can seat a decent amount of people. Not much else to say except the food is good for the amount you pay.

The won ton soup was delicious. Fried rice was what you would expect. Kind of reminds me of a school cafeteria setting but soup was worth it. Came out hot. Tea was good too. Except watch out for the pot with the spout stain...it leaks all over when you pour.

I used to visit this restaurant every week when I lived in Sacramento for 5 years. There are many Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but I feel that this is one that tasted closest to the food back in my country. Very affordable and the lady boss is very friendly (She can speak Mandarin). I still visited Sacramento very often due to work and this is definitely the first restaurant that I will go for a quick meal. I highly recommend the noodle with soup combination and mix with lot of chili sauce.

I love coming here so much, ever since 2005, age 18, Ive been coming here with my sisters, friends, family and now my children (4) The owner is so caring towards children, additional requests are easily handled. I highly recommend #1, their chow fun is super savory, their honey dew drink over ice is very delicious and can be ordered as a shake.Phi is one of the long time workers since day one, hes very sweet, efficient and always carried an amicable and professional demeanor. He might be the one who takes your order or rings you up after youre ready to close the tab. I know that this place is not a high end restaurant, that their style might even become offensive but they are more tuned into stocking up their ingredients and napkins while youre eating but trust me, they are constantly seating people which is high priority and making sure to give us the fastest service so a small interruption is nothing to us. This place is as authentic as it can get and feels so home like. The noodles are to be fixed to your taste, if its your first time here, go for the chow fun or plates, honestly the broth and noodles are already a good taste. I like a bold flavor so I add lots of spices and hoisin. This place is cash only (ATM inside) and the portion is perfect and a bit more. 👌This place is one of its kind, not many places like this. Highly recommend, their menu items are exactly as pictured. Love it here!!!

TK Noodle driver almost side swipes my car, almost rear ends another, and almost causes multiple crashes trying to speed up to 90mph tailgating any car in front of them. I call into TK Noodle and mid complaint they hung up on me. I call back and they pick up the phone and hang up again. They continue to do this for the next 5 calls. Then I call the first store in San Jose and their employees end up doing the same thing. I was polite and nice but as soon as they realized I wanted to make a complaint they hung up.Avoid supporting a business who does not care if they put others at risk. If they cant be bothered to hold their employees accountable with others lives on the road how can you trust them to make your food ? They wont even listen to a complaint that could have killed someone. I would imagine their level of care to food preparation would be the same.

#8 combination noodle soup is my favorite. Been eating here since I was a kid back in my hometown. Its best when its raining and cold outside. You seat yourself and they come right to you with a menu. Service here is fast. People are friendly and the food is good! Prices are cheap too.

Its true about what people say. For most people, this service would be considered terrible compared to other average restaurants.Its a place where you just get food, and go. Theres almost no exchange of words, only for when you order, and when you pay your tab.Ive gone here for years. One of my relatives always took me here, and she always scolded me when I was little for wanting to drink soda, because then I wouldnt be able to finish my food. I think the quality of the food is pretty good. I really like getting the #4, the one with the meatballs because Ill dunk them in the Hoisin/Sirracha sauces.Sometimes the tables are unclean and a little sticky, but this isnt one of those places where you have to worry about the condiment bottles being lazily filled. They swap out the entire bottle for newly filled ones.

Beware when paid credit. This is my favorite place. But now they try to ruined customers. We order Togo total $77.05 we paid by credit card. Next day the show on my bank account $92.89. That not right I call them they said call back tomorrow the gentleman do it not working today.ok I will call back tomorrow. Most people dont check their statement. And they never thought that happens..I hope owner need to be fit this. Dont let it happen again

Three stars only because Ive been coming here for years so Ive seen that prices have gone up while quality and quantity has gone down. What used to be free pork skins now cost $1. I remember when there was an option for small size #3 and it was $3.75. came with far more ingredients than what is included now for over $10. Extra star for the best never changing strawberry shake which is great for hangovers!

The customer services, food, or etc. is good, but I don’t think I want to return to this restaurant to eat the pho/noodles there. I ordered a bowl of noodles and was excited to eat it, but when I started to stir my noodles, there was eyelashes in my noodle. I took it out and just ignored it. Then I found another piece of eyelash in my noodle. I just let it go, but then I see a strand of hair in my noodle and so I asked for a replacement. They gave me a fresh new bowl of noodle and I checked to see if there was any hair, but there wasn’t. But after eating a couple mouth of noodles, I see some more eyelashes in my noodle and so I just stopped eating. I looked over to the kitchen to where the cookers are at to see if they had any hair net on and it seems like they don’t have hair nets on. (For those who loves eating at this restaurant, please check your food before eating it.)

One soup came out boiling hot, but the other lukewarm which was disappointing. They have a limited menu, but I guess thats how they keep it cheap. It was suggested to me to get the combination because they dont have an all seafood pho. It had 2 shrimp... Im sure an all seafood pho would sell for a few extra dollars. They also seemed not too happy with letting us have 2 styrofoam bowls so we could eat our food in the or on a table somewhere outside (even though we asked before we ordered). With many other options, I wont be back there.

My coworker and I always go there and the food is always on point. The downside is that the customer service could be a little bit better. The reason why I didnt give them 5 star is because my coworker asked for tea and they did bring it to us right ways but unfortunately the tea pot was very dirty in the inside and out to top it off the guy had to be told 3 times if he could change it because of the dirtiness. Once he took it he didnt see tor cared that I was looking at him the whole time and I saw him just clean the outside and bring the same tea pot to us. Disappointed....

TK Noodles is a great place too eat the customer service is on point. They dont hover over you asking if you need water. They are highly observant staff and not when a table needs something . There Pho is exceptional not as good as Saigon on Stockton Blvd. But its in my top ten Pho wise. Overall this restaurant is 4 out of 5 stars family friendly and quick with there service.

And anytime I ask for something its almost never given to me, you have to ask at least a hundred times before you get it. The waitor/ busters are very rude not one of them is helpful or nice. DONT RISK YOUR LIFE EATING HERE ! I almost died of food poisoning. I ordered the fried noodle, and I noticed the broccoli had a sour taste when I took a bite. Then I just skipped the broccoli and ate the noodle and the meat (The meat is tasteless. I just chewed and spitted). When I went home, I had a bad stomach pain, then diarrhea. I almost had to call the ambulance, but then I drank a lot of water to dilute the poison in my stomach. Luckily I got through without going to the emergency room. My advice is: dont eat here, it is not worth risking your life.

This is the only place you could find the dish bột chiên trứng (flour cake) in Sacramento. Its used to be a poor man dish in Vietnam as a street food. The rice flour cake is pan-seared with scrambled eggs. You dip it in a light soy-vinegar sauce. The rice cake is most important element. It cannot be too soft or too dense. You also have to pan-sear it just right. Tungkee almost always makes this dish properly. I am rarely disappointed with it.

This is my favorite place for Pho. Its a very simple and inviting place. A variety of Pho bowls as wells as other Asian plates. Great prices. Very satisfying for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I highly recommend this place if you just want a great bowl of Pho.

Also what TK should do is, atleast fill up the table acessories and condemints after a party leaves becauseMost of the time theres always a seat to find, but im not a huge fan of the long tables in the middle, so if is just your just your family. Try to get the outer tables away from the middle, even than that only seats 4.Ordering was just as simple as saying the number you want and than within 10 to 20 minutes (depending on how crowded the restaraunt is ) you can get your order fairly fast. There used to be an option to ask for a smaller bowl and wish they would bring that backIf you just want quick awesome good noodles, come to TK Noodles, even though there could be polish in some areas, it does detract from my experience eating there
