Here in PS for a weekend so had to try out TKB the best sandwich in America?! First impression is how spacious and sparkly clean this place is. In my head I was imagining old school diner but this place is so modern and sleek looking. We came around 10:30 on a Sunday and there were no lines at all.I got trump card and hubby Mexican meatloaf. These came out huge wow definitely got your money worth here. I would save half for next meal if I werent heading back LA. Mine was cold which I did not know (I typically prefer hot sandwich) but it was full of flavor and they did not skimp on the ingredients the sandwich is so packed! Hubby enjoyed the meatloaf and again just wish the bread was toasted. It was definitely messy and hard to eat but they gave us tons of napkins like they knew lol. We got ours pretty quick around 10-15 but when we were heading out we overheard the meatloaf going to take an hour I guess they just ran out of last batch so just be aware of that.Staffs were super friendly as well. Overall it was a great experience we would definitely come back to try other options!

Definitely worth the visit while in the area but also worth the drive if it’s out of your way some! ❤️We ordered two sandwiches for dining in and one for the road. All of them were absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, flavorful chicken and BBQ brisket burnt ends, and the bread was fresh! The jalapeño bread and spicy chicken sandwich was my favorite! Love the selection of chips and they also have small cafe that offers fresh baked goods and coffee drinks!

Ordered the breakfast sausage sandwich. Very surprised that the sandwich didnt have no flavor, no condiments, no hot sauces or anything to help out with the flavor. I have tried prior sandwiches and the breakfast burrito which have been delicious. I wouldnt be ordering this one anymore. I only ate it cause I paid for it.I also got 2 cheesecake desserts.I do recommend this place whole heartily but not this egg muffin sandwich.

I recently visited TKB Bakery & Deli for the first time and was blown away by the portion sizes. They were absolutely enormous! You could easily share a sandwich with someone and still feel satisfied. The mac & cheese balls were also a highlight of the meal - they were scrumptious! This place is the perfect pit stop if youre driving from Los Angeles to Phoenix on a road trip. I highly recommend checking it out!

Clean and inviting atmosphere inside and out. The food and pastry was tasty! The staff was very nice. They even have a dog park.My mom recommended stopping here on our drive home. I was pleasantly surprised and happy. I’ll be back when we drive through here.

Just experienced their breakfast burritos for the first time. My husband got the chorizo burrito, I got their regular breakfast burrito and we split them so as to try them both. BOTH are amazing ! The flavor is spot on and the salsa that it comes with is roasted and adds such a delicious flavor! We did also order the horchata iced coffee and that was SOOOO tasty! Must come here for breakfast!

Picked lunch for 10 people. Ordering online is easy so you can set the pick up time. And they write the name of the sandwich on the container so it’s easy to figure out who gets what. Speedy and friendly customer service. No complaints at all from my team and Everyone is happy. All their sandwiches are great. So far I’ve tried Ironman, burger, and Reuben. Love their pastrami.

This is our first time visiting Indio. My grandfather recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I felt like I was in Texas. The sandwiches were massive. I could only eat half and saved the other half for later. Spicy chicken sandwich was really good though it was more the bun with jalapeños than the chicken that was spicy.I had the chicken club that came on a French roll. It was really really good.My daughter had the chicken tenders which came with fries. Both good. Worth checking out if you’re in the area

Oh man, I had my reservations about this place. Im usually not one to give in to the hype but this place rocks! The atmosphere is cool and inviting. Definitely something on the fresher side in terms of eating decor/arrangements. The food was good and even though the wait was long due to a kitchen mistake the owner made sure to apologize and send me off with some free cookies and two cans of booze. They really seem to care about what the public thinks about them and thats a great thing!

This is one of the cleanest sandwich places and delis I have ever seen. There’s a good selection of food lots of chips and even a bakery/coffee place for you as well. There’s some great outside seating and plenty of seating inside as well. The prices are a little high on the sandwiches, but overall the quality is pretty good.

I have been a frequent customer at TKB for about 4-5 years and i have seen the quality drop. I got a brownie and on the back side i see melted cheese on my brownie. Be more considerate of your customers. i understand everyone is busy but i dont think your loyal customers want to take a bite of a brownie and taste melted cheese. ( i took the order to go thats why i didnt see the melted cheese prior to paying) if you ever order a meal to go check the quality before walking out the building.

My wife has been coming here for years but this was my first time.The owner welcomes you when you walk in. He actually thanks you for coming in. He sincerely seems to appreciate that you came in.It was a weekend and we walked right up to the cash register to order. There were a lot of staff working. They honestly dont seem to be moving that fast.There are a lot of choices. Its almost overwhelming. But as you sit back and compare them, it is just a change in a couple of ingredients then they add a new name.The thing has bothered me was the fact that we had to wait 20 minutes for our sandwiches. I cant imagine how long the wait would be if there was a line up. I kinda made me appreciate how quickly they make a sandwich at Subway. LOL.The sandwiches are fairly pricey but they are big.My sandwich was OK. I wouldnt order it again.

Awesome place to grab some coffee, fresh baked goods or some lunch. The atmosphere is awesome, the employees are super friendly, and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend their Cold Brew Coffee, we tried the Horchata Cold Brew and were really surprised by how good it was. Whether you are a local or driving by the area, stopping here is a must!!

Sandwiches here are handful, the taste was good for chipotle sandwich. Coffee here is really really bad, they put no effort in making it. If you have any love for coffee stay away. Had the danish here which was cold and hard to eat, had to throw it away.

Been itching to come here for awhile after seeing numerous you tube videos and how this is rated the best resteraunt in North America, or highest reviewed. Upon entering you are greater by a spotless interior which is vast in size and really nice. There is a bakery section with delicious treats to satisfy youre sweet tooth. The sandwhich selection is large and I dont think you can go wrong. We ordered 4 different sandwiches and everyone of them was stuffed full of meat and produce and delicious down to the last bite. Try this place it was great I dint know about being the best restaurant in North America but it does definitly make my top 10.

Stopped here on a recommendation. Very good sandwiches!!! The pesto chicken ranch was fantastic and definitely would recommend. The sandwiches are quite big, so hope you have an appetite. They also have pastries that looked really really good, but was full from the sandwich. Lol.

Excellent service and very clean. The rolls were unique. Maybe, because I am from the East Coast I was expecting the Sexy Italiano Sandwich to at least have oil and vinegar, also the cold cuts would be sliced much thinner. The food was great, the names should be changed to ANYTHING but Italian for the sandwiches we had. They were delicious, however, mayo and Italian should never be used in the same breath! California sandwiches with California pricing.

By far one of my places for when we go out to the Desert. The sandwiches are amazing, they have good beer, its easy to bring kids, and theres no reason to spend a ton of money going to a restaurant because the food is AMAZING.A couple hot takes....1) The Hangover is the same sandwich as The Trump Card, but without the jalepeño chips. So if you want that sandwich but want different chips, or no chips - The Hangover is it!2) They have a gluten friendly bread - which isnt technically gluten free. But its actually really good, theres times I get it just because I like it. Its a bit crumbly, so if you get a big sandwich it might be tough. But its dense and pretty moist - not like most dry/gross gluten free/friendly breads.3) On the bakery side the Eclairs are outrageous... both in size and being delicious. You can literally share one between like 5-6 people, and its amazing.Definitely should go to this place any time youre out in La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes, or Indio.

5 stars are not enough. Awsome sandwiches with Awsome staff. The pastrami was the best I had. The place looks busy, but the wait is minimal. My daughter was trying on merch, and one of the employees told her it was on the house she couldnt believe it. This made her feel so special. My wife loved the Chicken sandwich it was huge. We had and great experience definitely recommending to all sandwich lovers and all kinds of foodies. Good for families. Plenty of parking. Fast service. Delicious sandwiches and pastries.

Hands down some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. The only problem is its pretty pricey. There is an upside, you can likely split the sandwiches with someone else as theyre pretty big. They also have a good assortment of drinks as well (not your run-of-the-mill sodas) including beer. And they have a separate area to get coffee and sweets. You should try it.

We went to this place some 4 years ago and were very impressed with their sandwiches. Since then their shop has blown up big time. Quality is still the same as we do remember which means great. The bake shop sells some really great pastries and their horcharta cold brew is the best Ive tasted. Lucky us as realtors we spend quite some time in the desert so well definitely be back soon.

I had a horrible experience. My bottom bun was soaking wet, Im not even sure why. The middle middle of the sandwich had the rock-hard salami that wouldnt separate properly, so when you tried to rip it off, the whole sandwich fell apart. I had to rebuild the sandwich after almost every bite. There was also an avocado spread on it, but the avocado on it tasted like it was a few days past its date. I tried wiping it off, but it didnt work, the rotten avocado taste was still there. Imagine biting into a mushy bread sandwich with aging avocado into a rock hard disk of salami only to have the whole thing fall apart every bite. And the best part was that the monstrosity cost $20!!!! Im not sure how you can justify that price for such a terrible experience. Supposedly, this is one of the best sandwich shops ever, so when I told the friends and family that recommended this place how bad it was, it actually started fights. Sorry, Im just not seeing it.

I was actually very disappointed after all the hype about this place. Initially, we tried TKB during the pandemic. We live in Desert Hot Springs, so its not around the corner for us but we were wanting to have a great sandwich which we heard this was the place to get great sandwiches. We decided to make the drive. And although the sandwiches we ordered (Trump & Marilyn) had great flavor, our orders were wrong, so we had to take them back to get them corrected. I figured it was just because they were really busy, their register was outside, and it was just a new experience for them in general. Decided to try them again, and once again, had the same problem. Order was wrong had to go back to get it corrected and it took FOREVER this time. Again, gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was still during the pandemic and they were still working from outside. Fast forward to now, their new place, settled in, lots of advertising on social media etc...Decided to drive out because they advertised a Brooklyn Smoked Pastrami on Thursdays. Ordered over the phone as we drove from DHS so that my order could be ready by the time we got there and again, took forever. Also we were very specific, on the add mustard and mayo and even repeated it twice, yet I didnt get any mustard or mayo. Didnt feel like going back inside because i didnt want to wait forever again...Aside from that, the amount of Pastrami in the actual sandwich looked NOTHING like they advertise it on Instagram. It had about half of the Pastrami shown on their video and website photo! Also, it was so greasy!!! I know they toast the inside with garlic/butter but it was all over the outside and it left my hands so greasy! It was also flavorless. I dont like pickles, so I also asked for no pickles but thats why I wanted the mustard. Without either, it just didnt have flavor. I just couldnt finish it. Usually, my husband devours my leftovers but he couldnt even eat it because it was just soooo greasy! Needless to say, it just wasnt worth the $20 we paid for it plus the $20 in gas just to pick it up. So disappointed.

I swear I love this place! The Kids Bakery makes the best artisan sandwiches, so yummy. I have supported their business since they first opened Years ago. Congratulations on your new, larger restaurant. My Favorite sandwich is the Mexican Meatloaf but really all the sandwiches are just as good. Could this place be the sandwich King? All the reviews are exceptional so it was worth a try and holy sh*% it is worth it. Indoor / outdoor seating allows for your seating preference. Indoor ambiance is bright, caferia style. The food is the shining star and there is almost something for everyone (vegans may not have an option). Local beer taps are being installed in a few weeks, so more drink options will be available.

I finally get the hype…..My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary in Palm Springs and ended up eating at TKB 3 times!I got the Mexican Marilyn Monroe and it’s absolutely the best sandwich I’ve ever had, no joke. I ended up getting it twice and my husband really likes their Cobb. I recommend ordering ahead online. It takes about 20-30 minutes and you’ll get a message that your order is ready for pick up. Unfortunately we didn’t try any of the bakery items but we will be back soon to try more items.The best part was that we had our dogs with us and there’s a little dog park in their parking lot! I totally wasn’t expecting that so our girls got to come out, stretch their legs, drink some water etc. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating if you happen to have your dog(s) with you.

Heard about this place and the famous Trump sandwich. Its large loaded with meat and veg and delicious 😋 highly recommended. I went with a friend and we also ordered the hot chicken sandwich. Split them and we each had half. 😋. The place has a nice setup and a large indoor dinning area, you order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. 1st time visitors get a free soft chocolate chip cookie. They have the most interesting trash cans, also parking is free.

By far the best sandwich Ive had over the years and Ive had a ton....nothing like this though. Fresh, vibrant menu with lots of options for the sandwich lovers like me. I had the pesto Chicken on this visit, and Wow!I did take home the monkey bread and a couple of brownies just remind me of that sandwich! We were on the way to Joshua Tree National Park, and this was a must stop. My son and I got the Ironman and Trump Card. I was not a big fan of the Ironman, but the Trump Card was for anyone. At $13.99, this was big enough for two people and tasty as well. We barely finished the half and saved the rest for later. Looks like they just moved to this new location where there are plenty of seatings inside and outside. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are passing by, you should check it out.

Voted the number one restaurant in America in 2018 and just based on the flavor of the sandwiches and the variety offered you can see why.Though somewhat pricey, the sandwich itself is large enough to share and comes packed with plenty of meat of your choice, along with all the fixings, Plus they make them creamy so never a dry bite.

Great sandwich place with excellent customer service which is also entertaining. Simple seating area. The sandwiches are piled high with meat and the beads are excellent. Great variety of choices on sandwiches including built your own. Can have a long line but moves fairly quickly. Parking can be crowded. In an area which resembles a warehouse district.

The chicken club was an amazing sandwich which I ordered because it seemed to be one of the healthiest and it didnt disappoint. As soon as I bit into it, I could feel avocado falling out because they skimped on absolutely nothing. Many places will put two small pieces in the front and make it seem like they put a lot. Well I loved this sandwich and it tasted great. Chicken was cooked perfectly, and everything else was fresh. I tried my wifes hangover and immediately regretted my decision to go healthy, as it really was the best bite of a sandwich Ive ever had. Spices and everything worked together in perfect harmony. I loved the trump as well and will definitely going back. My wife loved it, and the others eating with us had nothing but great things to say about the sandwiches.PS, I know the butterfly is supposed to have someone stand in the middle, was just posting for reference. Another hidden gem in the desert. This is not your subway or jimmy johns, and are they ever proud of that. These are giant sandwiches with unique configurations served with home made chips on fresh baked bread. Take a look at the menu. I found the size big enough to share with my wife and still have some left.It is not a place you just stumble across, basically located in an industrial park with no street frontage at all. An a bakery too, with cookies, pie, and cakes to finish off your meal.They have a large following, so order ahead or plan to stand in line for awhile, and it is not fast, but they are creating giant sandwiches so be patient. Several tents and tables in the parking lot if you want to eat there.This is really a place worth trying. Not fancy, not fast just great food.

Update:..Just went yesterday, May 23, 2023!! This new location on Golf Center Drive is Bright, Fresh, and Stylish. And the Sandwiches still taste so BOMB!! I had the BBQ Wednesday Special Pulled Pork and Tri Tip sandwich. Absolutely Epic and worth every penny! My wife destroyed the Chiken Pesto Ranch Club. This Place is a Must Must MUST!!OH YEAH!!!!!!! I have heard the rumors and now it was time to try it out for myself! TBK has lived up to its reputation and has exceeded it in my opinion. I had the Hot Pastrami with Chicken and my wife had the Chicken Breast Club. Killer Meat and Bread. What a disappointment! Its closer to where we live in Indio, so we just had to try it. Were use to delies like Shermans that has a large assorment of wonderful food. I think this is misnamed and NOT a Deli at all, but a sandwich shop. We ordered the dirty riverside and waiting a long time for it, got a huge bun with a small amount of filling. There where hot peppers in it which kills my taste buds so I cant enjoy the other flavors. Compare that to a sandwich at Shermans! And where are the extoic and wonderful other dishes one expects from a deli? As for the bakery, we got a baklava, one of my traditional favs, but instead of honey and that wonderful nutty flavor this was sugar sugar sugar and made me sick! I got the turkey club, and it came with 2 slices of turkey folded in half, on each half, a single bed of lettuce, 2 slices of tomato, and avocado The turkey was so sparce it didnt cover the span of the bread just the middle section. 6 months ago, the same sandwich used to have a minimum of 4 slices of turkey stacked on each half. My moms ham sandwich also looked similar with 2 slices of ham folded in half and bare minimum veggies. I dont know if this is because we went during a lunch rush, but I was no longer impressed, nor did it feel like a worthy splurge during these tough times. The taste was still great, of course, and the ingredients were fresh, but you dont feel great knowing what you paid for isnt worth what you purchased.Service was amazing. Both people who took our orders were friendly and welcoming. They had forgotten the cheese on my sandwich, and when I asked for it on the side, it was handed over, no questions asked.The gentleman who helped us at the dessert bar was so sweet. Unfortunately, the three desserts we chose didnt taste like they looked. For a 2 inch cheesecake bite, 4 inch fruit tart, and 4 inch banana pie tart, it totaled $18. Mind you, their marketing team are geniuses and use one of the oldest tricks in the book, hidden pricing. You see and will saliavte at the appeal of their desserts. Both tarts were on the stale side and whipped cream topping tacky. However, in my experience, most desserts kept refrigerated in an open visible bar, such as in other restaurants, affect the taste and longevity of freshness if they sit for a few days. The baked goodies, sitting on top of the bar, may be a better option to go with because they just hold up better over multiple days, being individually packaged.Im going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and in a few months when Im feening for a turkey sandwich may drop in. For all I know, this may have been an off day with quality control for the sandwiches. I just have to make sure I go on pay day, so no more extremeties will be sacraficed. On the bright side, Ive never seen a restaurant have 5 to 6 tea varieties or the amount of chip variety for a sandwich shop. This tea lover was in heaven in that aspect.

These guys are so generous and genuine. They work hard to make sure we are satisfied with everything. I placed an order for the holiday but I could not pick it up. The owner asked if I wanted a refund. I asked if I could instead just hold it for the future. Today was the future date and I picked up these amazing desserts. I ❤ their customer service. Good, but not greatSandwich was so tall that I couldnt get a bite with all the flavors in one. Bacon was limp and mostly fat, so picked that off. Price point was absurdly high for a sandwich, though the portion size was huge. Wish I could have ordered a half (or less).We had a group of three and agreed: Overall, flavor was good, but have had better sandwiches for less than half the cost. Didnt live up to the hype for me :(

Holy moly. This was absolutely the best sandwich Ive ever had. When looking at the menu initially, I wasnt sure what to get, as nothing jumped out at me. I went for the Trump, and wow, it exceeded all expectations. Besides the insanely good sandwich, all of the staff are lively, interactive, and funny.

Sandwiches are awesome. I had the turkey club and my husband had the trump. Both huge, had to keep my one half for seconds later! Also had a cupcake, was pretty good, the icing was a little rich. My husband had an eclair type baked good with custard and whipped cream between a danish, not sure what it was called. It looked delicious but we both were disappointed that the whipped cream was not made with real whipped cream but a whipped alternative. Will only be returning for the sandwiches! Was not our first visit either, just the first time we got baked goods other than cookies.

I find the sandwiches too BIG to get my mouth around. Next time Ill request it without the very generous serving of egg salad. I have been driving on the I-10 for years looking at their restaurant advertising signs. Stating, they were Americas number-one restaurant in 2018. Very disappointing and expensive. I guess I should have tried it in 2018. The food was okay. I had the Turkey club. My girlfriend had the Pastrami sandwich. The meat was kinda dry. The bathroom was messy with no paper towels. I told the worker about that situation. It was never addressed. The iced tea containers were empty as well. Again I complained. That also wasnt addressed as well. Better off at subways. Not worth getting off the I-10. Dont fall for those signs like I did.

I have definitely been in TKB a million times. Ive been going to TKB before they did the big move. I will say the place is a definite 5 star location, but since they have done the big move, i do feel like the quality within the restaurant has gone down quite a bit, now they are very busy and less carrying for the customer. Before all the staff would make you feel amazing once you walked in, now that vibe is practically gone, not only that but I do feel at times the quality of my sandwich has dropped, from everything tasting fresh to now feeling 2 days old. Regardless of my negative comments I would say it only happens once every 4-5 times I go, but it would be wrong to not mention the truth. Other then that I think the place has went from being Awesome and Amazing all the time, to now being good and ok at times. I went from going every week to now once a month

Expect to pay about $20-$25 per person. Large portions, though. The food is good but not all the rave I heard about it before going. The French Fries were the best part of the meal. Id go again, but I wouldnt go out of my way to get there. You probably wouldnt be unhappy going.

This place is amazing! The way they make you feel like a regular from your first stop in is unique and builds a great atmosphere. The sandwiches are so good all you will be able to say is omg. We did chicken pesto and the trump card. Both were some of the best sandwiches we have ever had. If I could give 6 stars I would because of how amazing the employees were. The out door tables need more attention, didnt seem like they got cleaned often, Anand they were super wobblyI think the picnic benches they had would be better,stable and longer lasting option. Super bummed. I ordered the Mexican meatloaf online so that I could pick it up on my lunch break. Keep in mind I haven’t been to the new location so I waited in the ordering line to pick up my food. Not a long wait and I was shown by the cashier the pick up area. Great. I told the person I placed an online order and he went to check on it. He told me that they forgot to cook the meat loaf and that my sandwich wouldn’t be ready for another 30mins. Bummer, that’s my whole lunch break. So I left empty handed and hungry. Well I did get my card credited back so there’s that.

My only problem with this place is their most popular sandwich is called The Trump and they put signs EVERYWHERE to let people know that it’s not named after the President. Big sandwiches both hot and cold. Really enough to share. Grab some chips while you wait in line for your sandwich. Variety of bottled cold waters and sodas and juices. No bar here. But a couple of beers and wines. Very clean and organized. Can be very busy on weekends. Great baked good like cookies, cakes pastries. Lots of seating both inside and out. Huge parking lot. Everything on ground floor and wheelchair friendly.

Very hard to find as its stuck in the middle of an industrial unit complex.Breakfast burritos were terrible, sandwich was dry and the meat was very greasy. The so called chicken salad tasted fishy and seamed to be contaminated with tuna salad. The staff were impersonal and careless, they argued with my wife about putting salsa in the bag for the burrito which they had not. If this place was fantastic once then it is reliying on its reputation and you should travel into dessert palms instead and visit Shermans deli instead. I hate giving bad reviews but this was terrible.
