This Korean restaurant is located in a shopping center with a good amount of parking. It look cozy enough. Before entering there was a list of meats and I was told that some meat that I wanted they were out of so that sucked.I ordered my drinks and the dishes I wanted to try and waited for my to arrive. I was drinking the soju and waited for her arrival cause she is coming from daily city. It was hard not to eat since the food was coming. She came and we started to eat the steamed egg was okay the meat were good and she found something in spicy pork which was like a some kind of packaging plastic which threw me off. We let the server know what we just just found and he said he couldn’t remove that item for our tab which sucks he said he can give us soju for it.I wasn’t pleased that they couldn’t remove that item from our tab I just took it and ate the other foods. The meats were good but my date was turned off about the incident and I know she super picky when it comes to things like that I still ate and drank I believed she questioned their sanitary practices and how you let something like that go into a dish. After that we went to Santana Row and got dessert at this ice cream stand that took forever for ice cream. Than we had an argument and both went our ways.Would I come back here for this restaurant I don’t think so finding something in your food throws someone off and a lot of people wouldn’t eat the rest of the other dishes and would at least that that item off your tab. The meats were good. Just I didn’t have a good experience.

The most affordable Korean place around if you do one of their meat combos. It comes with their excellent and varied side dishes which they refill efficiently, rice (regular or fried), and a crisp small seafood pancake. I am unsure if you can get refills on that but they did give us another pancake without charge. You can add tofu soup among other things for $8 which is a steal. I got the mixed one and there was plenty of beef, squid, and 3 shrimps. I was desperately craving tofu soup that day and all the ones nearby on El Camino K town were about $20. The $8 one could be smaller but I didnt notice. It doesnt come with egg which is reasonable but Im sure you can add it on for extra. The meat portions are generous and they are not too fatty, in a good way. If you do find them too oily: the lettuce, radish, and rice wraps included in the sides are good for soaking up the grease. I would recommend the beef belly, the brisket, and the pork ribs if you dont want to upgrade your meats. There is a small aluminum foil with cheese corn that comes on the grill with the meat. They give you a refreshing mini yakult with your bill.

You should definitely make an appointment. And the food is delicious, which explains why you have to wait in line. We went on a weekday around 6:30pm and it was quite crowded. It reminds me of the grilled meat I had in Korea. I will go back again.

Love hate relationship with ToBang.Pre-covid, one of my favorite KBBQ spots. Post-covid, Ive only gone once or twice because the service is usually a miss and value just isnt there if they dont refill sides. You can make reservations on Yelp.Tobang has one of the best sides in south bay. Hence, I go there to eat a ton of them...during COVID, I remember they limited refills to once time only, which was unfortunate.Meat quality is ok. They still give you a mini yogurt drink to top off the meal which is nice.Parking in the plaza can be super difficult. May be due to give them another try soon. Hoping for the best!

Ive come to this place for years and love it. If you are seeking fantastic service, avoid this place. But if you dont mind the service and just want to get good Korean BBQ at a very reasonable price. This is the place to come.

I love the efficiency of this place! You get seated pretty quickly after placing your order and the food follows almost immediately. The meat comes in set with toppings, eggs, soup and rice. The meat portion is very generous so keep that in mind while you order 😉 I guess the only downside is that, if your party size is small you can’t try many meats as you might hope.

I definitely recommend ordering one of their special sets. You get a good variety of what they have to offer and you can pick which meats you want! Keep in mind that the marinated meats (including kalbi) are all pre-cooked for you. You dont grill it yourself. I dont really recommend the bulgogi since it gets cold fast. The Special B ($100 after tax+tip) was the perfect amount for three of us to share. The meat quality is not bad. You can never go wrong with beef belly and brisket! They have really decent banchan - my favorite is the potato one! The seafood pancake can be pretty inconsistent... Sometimes its super crispy; other times, its way too soft. The steamed egg is on the salty side honestly. I do love that they give you radish paper, rice paper, kimchi fried rice, AND lettuce wraps! You really get a little bit of everything.A local favorite KBBQ spot. Very busy place! You order before youre seated. Good luck finding parking during the dinner rush! The workers here are very quick on their feet and constantly moving/keeping busy. Free yakult at the end of the meal is always appreciated :)

We ordered package A: spicy pork ribs, bulgogi and added a seafood tofu soup. A lots of meat enough to feed 4-5 people. Seafood pancake is the best among all the dishes. The meat and side dishes are bit too sweet for me, but still a good deal for a causal Lunch for 4.

What I like: side dishes are good, and service is better than my expectations from other reviews: staff keep returning to make sure side dishes are refilled and everything is ok. The combo comes with a kimchi fried rice and a pancake. They also have complimentary fried rice cake which is a nice surprise. Reasonable price. What can be improved: we ordered two raw meat and I liked the fun of cooking it. A staff liked to pour a lot of meat on the grove like if she wanted us to just eat quickly and get out. I don’t like being rushed.
