Tofu King in Arcadia

Comfort food spot!! They now accept zelle but still not credit card. I love how the make a veggie 🌋 out of the cold noodle!

After several Taiwanese friends and family recommended this place, I finally got a chance to try this! When you first walk in, you will be greeted with the distinct smell of stinky tofu, indicating this place is absolutely legit! Fight through it, it will be worth it!The stinky tofu was most delicious, and after eating the stinky tofu, you wont smell it in the air anymore. They pork thick soup was great, and the sauces and vinegar really complement the food well to make many different tastes with the same dish.Id eat here again for lunch or dinner!

Been here a few times. The stinky tofu was okay but not outstanding. Cash and Zelle only and no cc. No free tap water.

Heard they have some decent fried stinky tofu, so we decided to give it a try!What we got?1. Stinky tofu bite (8 cube pieces) $6.752. Spicy tofu noodles $14.993. Spicy wonton $8.254. Braised pork rice $9.95Stinky tofu bite was not bad, the texture was probably the closest tasting authentic Taiwanese stinky tofu in LA so far, but it needs to be stinkier to be authentic. However, the rest of the food def was not worth the money they charged. I mean, look at the price I listed above! Would you pay almost $10 for a simply braised pork rice? Would you pay $15 for a bowl of noodles w/ only a few pieces of tofu and noodles (yes, no meat included!!) Compared to most Taiwanese restaurants in the the area, it is def on the pricey side.Overall, decent food but way overpriced, and they only accept cash and Zelle. I will probably not coming back, only if they adjust the price.

Very authentic Taiwanese cuisine. I like fermented tofu a lot. Noodle soup is gigantic. Mine is the spicy tofu soup with green bean noddles. It mixes with spiciness and numbness but not overwhelms the flavor of other Ingredients.They are very friendly...Even we took a long time to decide what we wanted, they still smiled and leave us along until we were ready without any complaint neither emotional reaction.

Been to a lot of Taiwanese places, the stinky tofu was probably the best here. All the other main dishes were pretty good, I personally ordered the pork steak with rice, wasnt bad. A little bit pricy for the food (18$ for my dish).Would come back again!

I just wrote a review for Tofu King at Rowland Heights and gave it a 4-star, but I have to give 3-star for Arcadia one. Two restaurant are selling the same foods, almost the same quality. But compare the style and service, the Arcadia one is not as hospitable as the another. The owner and clerks were always Poker face, I always think is that possible because the food I ordered were too cheap?Its a pity I got such a treat and I love Taiwan so much. In my memory, Taiwanese are so kind and good mannered.

Foods were too salty. I felt so thirty after eating the foods. However, the service was pretty good.

Very Good Stink Tofu but they always ask only for cash, which as a service business, they ought to accept CC as well. Their refusal to accept CC ranks LOW on the service spectrum. As a service oriented business, you ought to accept all forms of payment! Youre losing out on sales
