HIGH quality Meat!By far the best Chineese food I’ve ever had. We did not order any sushi but we were in the mood for Chow mien. We ordered the Vegetable and Noodle dish with added chicken along with another dish called Honey Spicy Chicken. These dishes were superb. The meat alone sets this Restaurant above all others. Not a single piece of chicken had fat on it and the quality was excellent. A must dine and please confirm the quality of meat!! Enjoy.

Located in the center of a basic strip center, Tokyo Dori was a great discovery for us. They list a ridiculously large selection of sushi rolls and more. There are good sushi restaurants, but this place is a WOW!!Our team of sushi warriors devoured Calif rolls, Happy, Ichiban, Lion king, and the amazing Poki roll (spicy tuna with a pile of seaweed salad on top).Very calm restaurant, with outstanding service.

We ordered the Chirashi and Nigiri combo and they were off the hook delicious. The Korean Ramyun was savory and perfect. The ZigZag handroll was amazing and large. We just moved here to Sac and have been searching for fresh, affordable, and delicious sushi. This is the place. Five star for service and freshness.

Food is always fresh and very good. Only disappointment was they have stopped serving the broccoli 🥦. Made my meal feel incompleteWent back and found out they dont serve the broccoli with a salad like they did. That was fine by me, so I ordered a side order of it.

I have had good sushi there before, but I had a bad experience there recently. Sesame chicken was okay and predictable, udon was fine, but the stir-fried noodles and veggies were GROSS. Inedible took home and threw in trash. Something was off maybe an ingredient was old rancid or something. The carpet on the floor is super dirty. Oh well, time to look for another place.

We have eaten here several times now. Their terryaki chicken is large moist chunks. The miso soup has fresh green onion sprinkled on top and tastes bright. The portions are large making the slightly high for lunch prices worth the money. Very nice place for lunch or dinner.

This place is great! And very fairly priced for what you get! Went there with my fiancee and we ordered tempura, small sashimi platter, the lion king roll, and the Tokyo dori roll. And we were both happily satisfied. Food was delicious, fast, and fresh! I cant wait to come back. Not to mention our server was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend, my new favorite sushi place in Rocklin! (Ive been to two others)

Great sushi restaurant! I go here a lot with my family and every visit is always pleasant. Although it seems like seafood isnt fresh, it is still very tasty. Bento boxes are large portions. Location is a little hidden in the corner of the plaza but it is an all around good place to take the family. Price is good as well

My brother and I just ordered and I am so pleased we did. this was by far the BEST sushi I have had. The price is a little high but well worth the absolutely delicious food. Best sushi in the Rocklin area. They have dine in, take out, and delivery through Uber Eats and doordash. The prices are higher if you order through a delivery service. Average dish is $14+. Very nice every time I visit. Ive been going here for over 10 years and Ive yet to have a bad meal.

My husband and I really enjoyed all aspects of dining at Tokyo Dori. It was a cool, clean, quiet atmosphere with touches of Japan. The lovely hostess invited us in and served us sharing personal knowledge of the extensive menus ingredients making helpful suggestions, as this was our first visit. AND WE LOVED THE FOOD, mixed crab on sweet cucumbers, and tempura veggies and shrimp..YUM!!!

$2.50 for a can of soda is ridiculous. The food is pretty good but disappointing for the price. It was really great years ago but steadily went downhill after the original owners sold it. Service slowed, dishes changed slightly while prices went up and the value just isnt there anymore. I stopped by for lunch because its been a long time since my last visit and it just reminded me why I stopped going there years ago. I dont plan on ever going back.

I just moved nearby. saw some of the post and sounded like a good place to eat. service staff was friendly and was very timely on getting out our order. waitress stopped several times to ask us if we needed anything.Saw a review or two about price. I thought it was perfectly priced.We had a Mt. Fugi roll, a Hole in One roll and a third I cant recall and they all were awesome. Me personally, the Mt Fugi roll was my favorite. Also tried the Hamachi Kama (its fish cheak and though it may sound weird, its not, try it)... Ive had it elsewhere and had to try it here and it didnt disappoint. Order it upon arrival, as it takes a minute to prepare... My lady friend also had a bowl of Miso soup, which she said was good.Important for my family is handicap excesablity and there are plenty of open table areas for wheelchair and same with bathrooms.(Added new comments 2019) Been coming here almost two years now. Ive tried a lot of rolls and never had a complaint from anyone Ive brought here. Im Adding the vegetable and shrimp tempura to my favorites..and again, try the Himatchi Kamma, it wont disappoint..if the owner Tommy stops by and ask to have a saki shot with him, do it, delicious!!

The waiters were extremely welcoming. The soup was flavorful but watered down and there were too many green onions and tofu in it. The sushi was extremely overrpriced and didnt taste very good. The salmon nigiri had no freshness and felt like a chore to chew, same with the tamago. They also take forever...that meaning me being one of 5 people in the place.

Sushi was fresh (fish) the rice was dry and chewy. Ordered one role and asked for light sauce which was accommodated well. I also ordered beef ramyun (Korean style), the noodles were fine, veggies were perfect however the broth was lacking flavor and the little bit of beef that was there were small and overcooked. Might as well have beef jerky. For the prices I would expect better food.

If you are into keto/low-carb this is a great place to go for sushi. They offer it rolled in cucumber instead of rice if you wish. Thats how my date ordered it. I had regular rolls and they were fantastic. Best sushi in this area.

The prices are on par with every other sushi place Ive been to in CA. Maybe others who have complained about prices have been going to economically sourced locations? From the moment I open the chopsticks here I can tell Im in for a treat. Im serious! Not a single splinter or rough spot. Next, the miso is so flavorful, as I mentioned before, its ruined me. When my sushi comes out, I really appreciate the kick of the wasabi. Its one of the only places where the wasabi has a sinus opening kick.

The rib eye teriyaki today was TERRIBLE. I have been going there around once a month for almost 2 years and even tho the service has always been poor, the rib eye teriyaki WAS unique and exceptional. Apparently there is a new cook...I couldnt get a clear reason for the change. I did get a kind of this is the way we are doing it. I said then I wont be coming back. It didnt seem to have much impact on the staff. It was not tender as it has been in the past, nor did it have any flavor. So they made another batch. It was more tender and had a bit more flavor....of soy sauce. YUK. I ate about a third of the second batch because I was starving but immediately upon leaving, went to get ice cream to try to get rid of the lingering, salty after-burn of so much soy sauce.When they brought the check, they asked if I wanted any boxes. I told them I didnt because the food just wasnt any good. OH yeah! I almost forgot, I ordered hot tea. IT WAS NOT EVEN LUKEWARM! When I told the waitress, she said, oh really. Do you want me to heat it up? Heat up tea that had been steeped in tap water??!! No, I dont think so. I was charged full price for the meal. No comp or discount was offered. I didnt see the point in arguing it since I had already made my case that I wouldnt return if this was the new way it was going to be prepared and that hadnt inspired them to try to retain my business. I had already made it clear that I had been coming for a long time and didnt understand why it didnt taste the same.Its sad. I know restaurants are difficult businesses. Lots of turnover. The service has always been terrible but I was able to overlook it because of their teriyaki. Now that is apparently gone, I will NOT go back. It wasnt teriyaki. It was soy sauce.
