Tokyo Garden in Downey

They dont play around with these sushi rolls. The height on these rolls are enormous and generous but theyre also so good. Me and my husband usually do takeouts because theyre often packed for dinner which is a good sign. My husband gets two of the Dragon Rolls but always gives me his last 2-3 pieces to me while I struggle with mines (Lovers Roll). They have a very friendly staff and good service.

Every time I come here its always clean, friendly staff and delicious food. Never had an issue with my food or service. The chefs and back house included. Thank you for the good service! I will continue to come here :)

Normally when I go here the service is pretty good, but this last visit not so much. My order did not come, the server informed me that a mixup had occurred and my order would be right here and offered me a gratuity sushi, I replied with yes! My order arrived and I waited for my sushi which never came. When I asked for the check they had charged me for my gratuity sushi. I paid my bill and left. It will be a while before I return

One of the best Sushi restaurants in Downey. The portions are bigger than expected. Great presentation and excellent sushi dishes.😊 The only bad thing is that the bar service is close so none of the cocktail drinks in the menu are available 😏

The customer service is really bad. If Youre a group of 5 or more (we were 8) Goodluck.. after we got seated and got our order taken, it took maybe 20mins to get our drinks and an extra hour to get our COMPLETE order. They had forgotten our last 3 entrees and didnt know who to blame... I honestly can say the food here is good but the service bad.. this happened on more than one occasion and they never learn.. I will never be back.

We love this place! especially my son... they know him since he was 3 years old,today he’s 8 n still asking Tokyo’s Garden sushi 🤩The food is delicious .Ive literally tried to try everything on the menu and its all delicious,amazing service. Without a doubt one of my favorite places. Oh, and the prices are great too.thank you so much guys👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Great sushi and most importantly great service. Take the drive to Downey and you will not regret it. One of the best Sushi places ever. Ask for Tony he is the best and believe me you will not regret the drive if you are not from Downey. This is my new sushi place. Back again it was better than last time I came to Downey for sushi amazing food and amazing service. I give this place 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was great, server was attentive and everyone made sure we were happy with our rolls. All the sushi rolls were delicious. We tried the BGCR, mexican, baked salmon, mystery, crazy and red dragon roll. And we also had dessert macaroon of cappuccino and green tea these were very tasty. Love coming here.

I’ve been here twice and planning on going as my to go sushi place here in Downey. Their portions are big, taste delicious and service is great.

Food here was amazing! Every sushi order we placed was fantastic and very fresh. This was one of several sushi restaurants we tried around LA and this was by far my favorite. Great atmosphere and staff. From outside it looks very plain, but what awaits you inside will surprise you.
