I am not the type to leave a negative review, but the food here compels me to warn others off. The fish tasted off, the oil tasted old, and the prices were outrageous for the portions you got and the quality.Not even exaggerating, the volcano spicy tuna 2 piece tasted like old crumbly cat food.We were the only patrons there and the exit was blocked with a rolling cart after we were seated which i thought was odd.Both of us threw up after we got home. The only positive was the miso soup. I honestly dont believe this place should be in business any more in its current state of operation.

We arrived late one evening before closure after visiting great wolf lodge. The restaurant accommodated our late arrival. We placed or order with variety of sushi, tempura, bento box, scallops and refreshments. The sushi was flavorful and the fish was very fresh. I recomend venturing out of the hotel and to try yummy food next door.

While staying at Wolf Lodge we decided to have take out sushi. I was able to order and pay, but was asked to wait outside in the heat. This place had no other patrons, it was littlerly dead. I couldnt understand why I had to. I felt discriminized. Then the cashier and the sushi man started yelling at me. I asked for my money back, and had Tangerine Thai which was kind enough to let us wait inside for my order.

Overall food was good. The miso soup was a little on the salty side. The udon was good, sushi was good, and the tempura as well. Enjoyed to nice atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive.

The food was not worth the price and the portions were small and over cooked. The sushi in my opinion was not fresh and it had a strange taste to it. I also ordered the fried soft shell crab for $12 and what I got appeared to be canned crab dipped in batter which had an off taste. I have never been more concerned I was going to get food poisoning after eating somewhere. If your looking for sushi go to a grocery store it will probably taste better than what you will get here

Waitress was not welcoming she was rude and slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant and our food took a while. Sushi was pretty dry and cups were dirty.

Was a regular customer from 20 years ago, was so delighted when I walked through the door and saw the same sushi chef and his wife. Every flavor was just as I remember. Absolutely fantastic food. Prepared and served by two of the nicest people.

Really bad service takes so long to get our food and drinks, and we understand only one server, but they should probably consider hiring more staff. You have to pay for sides of spicy mayo, eel sauce, and Sriracha. That same night every one from my party felt sick.

Great sushi restaurant! We had a great experience here! Our waitress was very friendly. We had a combination of Maki and Nigri sushi, and it was all excellent! I could tell my sushi was professionally made. Both beer and sake are on the menu, in addition to non-alcoholic beverages. Lots of parking available. Will definitely come here again :)

This place is very cute and peaceful. The service here is beyond wonderful, they are so so friendly and truly do seem to care about you. The atmosphere is comforting, for a brief moment I felt like I wasnt in Anaheim. The food is very delicious, but what truly distinguishes this place is the care put into the service. This place should be at capacity every single night; if youre from Anaheim and you havent been to this place, you are cheating yourself of a delicious dinning experience.

The scariest looking sushi I have ever eaten. The rolls were barely rolled and the box smelled pungent. Took a small but hopeful bite and was instantly thinking food poisoning. I spent $66.35 and all it do was fill my trash, opted for pizza at the great wolf lodge. Very nice people but when a sushi spot has 2 people in it on a Friday night, you already know.

This restaurant is owned by my 2 friends who believe it or not helped us (wife and I) make a baby . I told Jenny (waitress) that we have been trying to have a baby for a year now and nothing I working and what they did was either a miracle or voodoo we basically both ate raw ostritch eggs and a month Later We found out we were having a baby Thank you Joe & Jenny

Ate here for dinner with the family while visiting disneyland. The food presentation (rolls) was very artistic and visually appealing. The food was kickass and we devoured it all. The staff was very friendly and the location was small/intimate. The kids insisted we rate Tokyo Love with 5 stars which they deserved. I highly recommend stopping here for Japanese food when visiting Disneyland/Anaheim.

The sushi was good. The place is not so clean, our cups were dirty (full of water stains, old water stains). Our table was also dirty (sticky table). Would i come back? No! You can find a better location that is cleaner.

My husband and I have been coming here for about 5 years and it is absolutely our favorite sushi place in town! I see some negative reviews regarding the timeliness and quality of the food, but we have never had an issue after all these years. Needless to say, this restaurant is only run by a husband and wife, so YES, you may have a little wait for your sushi, but with only one sushi chef and one waitress, what more can you expect? This place is the quintessential hole in the wall sushi joint, which is part of its appeal! Their fish is picked fresh daily, and is noticeably better than even the high end sushi places. Their menu features a good variety of sushi, sashimi and specialty rolls. Their miso soup is always on point, and I love that they offer mocchi ice cream for dessert. If you live in the area, or even if youre just in town visiting, I suggest giving this place a shot! Its rarely ever super busy or crowded, but I guess my husband and I like that about it.

We were visiting theGreat Wolf Lodge and for dinner we decided to go next door to a sushi place called Tokyo Love Sushi in Anaheim. In one word this place is dangerous with the worse customer service we have all ever experienced. We ended up having to call 911. Eventhough we were the only customer at that time it took them 45 min to serve us, we asked them why is it taking so long we have a little baby that needs to sleep and the lady said where are you guys are from,you guys are too much and starting giving us an attitude and so we started video taping everything as I started taking video to record their way of attitudes the waitress was kicking the wheel of our baby stroller and the chief along with her got aggressive and he came at us holding his sushi knife and said stop recordingas we had to leave the restaurant for our safety she locked the door and said you have to pay, my husband said we will not pay here I will give the money to the police, Im going to call the police if you dont open the door. My husband and my baby sleeping in his stroller and I ran out waiting for the cops. Thanks God the cops arrived in less than 2 minutes and helped us and we went back to our hotel safely.

Gave this place a try but it seriously needs to make some changes. You cant expect to have customers if you serve old fish.. It seems like they are past the point of caring, or maybe it was because it was late on a Sunday and we cought them at worst time.either way, If you dont have enough customers to go through fish supply, you have to reduce your menu or something so you can afford to throw away bad fish. We were only customers and were served fast and waitress seemed nice. The tuna was a light pink color with like a white marble and looked and smelled old. Gf tried to eat it and ended up puking. I got the crunch roll and it just tasted off. Rice wasnt particularly good, avocado was starting to brown, seaweed wrap was gooey, miso was too salty. We ended up just paying and going to our normal spot to try to make up for it. Felt bad for leaving so much there but we couldnt keep eating it :/ good luck tokyo love.

Horrible! Worst sushi Ive ever had. The rice was hard and dissolved soon as I grabbed a piece, it was horrible. It tasted dry! And any shrimp or eel or any fish portion in the sushi was super small, it was mostly dry rice. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE its crappy!

Terrible food! We had a tempura roll andIt tasted like the oil hadnt been changed in years!!! Avocado on rolls was more like paste and the rolls werent rolled right and fell apart as they set them down. Everyone left feeling sick and we couldnt eat more then one piece per roll because every roll we got was awful. Save yourself time and money and skip eating here

The place was empty but decided to try it out anyway. T he hostess was friendly and the food was mediocre at best. She then overcharged us for the food by like $10 so I decided to pay the exact amount and not leave a tip rather than to try and explain it to her due to her limited English. She got upset because I did not leave a tip and ignored us when we left, even after I said bye and thank you.

My first and favorite sushi restaurant anywhere. Met Joe and his wife in 2001. This restaurant is the reason for my sushi addiction! Great atmosphere, conversation, and food. Sit at the bar and share a drink with Joe and your fellow patrons to get the full experience.

Im a delivery driver and I arrived and I told him who I was and the boss was very angry and told me to arrive very quickly so that I could leave. I asked him how long it would take and he told me, I dont know, wait outside and jump.
