Our first time here, with friends, was a grand experience. They dont have all you can eat, which worked out good for us, because we were able to share and try each others orders. We all had our favorites. The service was personal and quality. There were full tables of customers. But it wasnt overcrowded, and families were enjoying time together.

We always get good sushi and good service here. They also have a yummy Garlic Ponzu for dipping if you would like something besides soy sauce. We really liked the yellowtail roll with a lemon slice on top (not on menu). The lighting was nice and mellow, but unfortunately, it didnt do my pics any favors.

Decided to take myself on a date!! The last time I tried this place it was during the quarantine in 2020. At that time you could only order to take out. So I was so pleasantly surprised when I could actually come in sit down and enjoy the environment. It was definitely warm and inviting there were a lot of tables full and a lot of people there laughing and eating which is always great. They didnt have very many sushi rolls that were riceless. There one I tried was called SAKI BOMB very great sauce!! I wanted to lick my plate after I was done eating! The spicy garlic edemanme proportion was perfect!! The garlic/chile combo was unique. The chili had a slight hint of sweet. It was so tasty, I couldnt stop eating it. The more you ate the hotter it got!! My mouth was on fire!! Since there were not a lot of riceless rolls I decided to try an appetizer I never had before. So I got a yellow fin fish. I thought it would be raw pieces, but this came out hot! After a couple mins of struggling with tearing pieces off the bone, I was brought a fork and with her hand motioned me how to use it!!! Lmao!! It was great food and a nice setting. A nice spot to have a nice casual conversation with a friend. I will go back and take my kids!!

Great Food all around.No wasabi on Nigiri as far as i remember.Fresh Sweet Shrimp is a VERY high reccomend if youre adventurous or just enjoy them like i do.The fried shrimp head is the best part.A little cramped but it is a small restaurant and is very intimate in regards to the staff and other patrons.

Casual, family-friendly sushi restaurant. We had a great experience dining here. Food was good but what really impressed us was the service. The two servers on the floor were both very attentive and friendly and particularly helpful with our youngster; when he saw orange slices with his meal, he wanted more and the staff was happy to oblige. We left very satisfied with our experience and hope to be back soon!

Beware!!! This place has no courtesy to clientele and their food is substandard while prices are not even close to quality. The asian older female at the front has a horrible attitude, doesn’t respect clients that come in alone or smaller party. Service is slow and pessimistic and you say something to the manner or request better service you’re automatically treated disrespectfully.

The most disappointing takeout i have experenced anywhere, anyplace and anytime. I ordered via phone Shusi Dinner and Yelllowtail collar and paid $32.51 plus $2.00 dollars tip. When I got home what I got where 2 tuna collar and no sushi. They told me there is soy sauce and the 10 piece sushi is inside. I should have check the content before leaving. I have been buying sushi at this place, but I believed this time they lost me. I tought of going back and retuen the Tuna collar, but I decided to just eat both. The tuna collar is $11.00 plus, so I overpaid for my meal. There are other good sushi place around Redlands and this will be the last I will order from this place.

We get this place often for office lunches and theyre always so accommodating of our large orders. The service at pick up is always fast and sometimes the staff will help you to the car if you have a large order like we usually do.If youre ever unsure what to get, our office loves the Redlands Lunch Special!Ive never sat inside but the place looks clean and it looks like lots of happy customers send then holiday cards or photos that they put up behind the register. So cute haha.

It was my first time going to this sushi restaurant and there was no all you can eat. The service was very attentive and they would give you refills without you having to ask and wait for one. Our orders came out really so there wasnt a long wait. Its a very small restaurant but the atmosphere was great. When looking for parking its located in the back of the place.

Had high hope for this place, maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Raw sushi was warm. The baked roll was pretty good but the raw salmon was awful. Sticky, warm and grayish looking. My boyfriend tried to tell the waitress to see if he could switch it for something different and she said oh and walked away. She never returned, so he ate the rice and left all the salmon on the plate. We paid with the hostest and left with him still hungry. Thursday 6pm 10/6/22

The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The only issue we had was my roles were served and we waited and waited for my wifes rolls. I realize that her rolls were baked but having to wait over five minutes between the delivery of my order and hers was not good. In fact a couple that can into the restaurant after we ordered, at the adjacent table, received one of the same rolls my wife ordered be before she did. We will return again. Do miss this jewel.

Favorite local sushi. Weve been coming here since 2000. The owners are very nice & friendly. Sushi is consistently delicious. Really, weve enjoyed every roll weve ever ordered (including asking Sushi Chef to create any roll he would like to make).Our personal preference is to include a Double Double Roll (or any roll with spicy tuna/salmon) & a Crunch Roll with our order.Be sure to try their house salad with your order. Their mysterious green salad dressing (that turns your tongue green too) is a unique flavor & really good- they would seriously make a fortune if they would bottle and sell it!Seating available at sushi bar or tables.

I (young-ish, brown and high-femme presenting at the time) was looking forward to a nice chat with a family member (young-ish, caucasian and femme) and their toddler at lunch. We came in and were directed to take a seat in the least comfortable seating location where all the hustle and bustle is. Located right beside the hallway and across from where the older lady was spraying all the menus down and doing prep work. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Shortly after we received our menus a group of middle aged bros (visibly all caucasian) came in and we decided to order to-go instead of having to be in that vibe throughout our lunch. Overall there was a lack of hospitality for us from the lady as she was doting on the group of guys ( that got to choose where theyd like to sit and got their drink orders taken before us). She also just had the overall attitude that she was angry with us each time she engaged. The toddler was just chillin and babbling as they do but nothing over the top. When the toddler was getting loud my family member took them outside to prevent any diners being disturbed. Also there was no ambient music or ambient sound makers in the space either so the overall mood was just flat and cold. When the lady brought our order out I kindly thanked her and I got the cold shoulder as she just dumped the bags on the table and waked off to check-in on the bro table -- not even a have a nice day as I left the restaurant. It was over a $50 dollar order with a tip too. She made a point of having us pay up before placing the order kinda like she expected us to dine and dash. When we finally got to a park to eat it we found the special tempura rolls had an absurd amount of sauce like it was completely drenched and sopping sauce when you would lift up a piece.The chicken teriyaki was bland. The nigiri I got was just so-so and the Albacore I got was also drowned in sauce. ALL OF THE TO-GO BOXES WERE USED UPSIDE DOWN as well so the overall dining experience at the park was cumbersome. Really disappointing dining experience and I would not recommend to anyone. Save your coins for a place that actually values you as a customer and has quality food. Highly recommend Thai House --> yet to find a good sushi place out here so thatll continue to be my go-to for good food, good hospitality, and good atmosphere.

BEWARE! Pictures on menu dont reflect what youll really get.When I asked about why my room lls look so different to the pictures she said that theyre just pictures and not what they will make you. Also, some of the ingredients stated, like avocado, may obly be partially and minimally included in some of the roll. Never coming back again. Sad because I live so close!Also-- when I asked about the pictures not looking like my roll, the ladies seemed rude and started speaking in their language and made us all feel so uncomfortable

We love sushi and dont get to eat out a lot so was really looking forward to it. We got teryaki salmon, salmon skin rolls, boston roll, and some others. The food was very average, and that is being kind. It was low quality, the taste was bland, and we ended up only eating about 30% of what we ordered.Regret going there, and the total cost was higher than it should have been but we didnt notice until we got back. The lady was nice and polite but with many other better places, save your money and your dissappointment.

From the outside you might turn your nose up and not go inside but youd be missing a delicious meal. The interior is comfortable and although small it is tastefully decorated.The rolls are delicious! Weve tried many different ones and they are all delicious!If youre in the mood for something else try the boxes. They include four pieces of vegetable tempura and one shrimp, four pieces of roll, rice, and whatever protein you choose from the menu. If you like spicy food, Id recommend the spicy chicken!If you havent yet visited Tokyo Sushi be sure to stop in and give it a try youll be happy you did. Beer and wine are also available.

Could not sit where I want to sit and there was only one family and was Dining in. spent $60 on sushi that was not worth one bit of it. Ive been coming here for udon faithfully for the past 3 1/2 years now. This is the best udon Ive had anywhere ever, and I consider myself an avid noodle lover. Their spicy tuna, California, and Las Vegas rolls are fantastic. My family and I are here so often they consider us family, as we do them. This is my all time favorite restaurant and I will forever be a loyal customer.

My favorite sushi restaurant. Great proportion of rice and fish in their rolls. I prefer sashimi and this place does it right! Nice thick cuts of sashimi and a good amount per order. The sea urchin (uni) is always great here when its in season. Restaurant is small though so dont bring large group with you. Waitresses are nice and prompt. Love this place!

Our new go-to sushi spot--its ALWAYS delicious. Not an AYCE spot, but they do have half off menu. Quiet and mellow, no annoying birthday celebrations or sake bomb announcements. Their Yami Yami roll is unique and delicious, love the dressing on their salad, and service is incredible. The lady (who owns it I believe) remember us and our son and is so sweet. Love Tokyo!!

This is our go-to local sushi place and actually our favorite place to get sushi, period. Were regulars who have tried different items yet have a preference to their Redlands, Volcano, Lobster, Snow Cone, Tiger, and 4th of July rolls (just to name a few), Dancing Shrimp, Teriyaki chicken and always get the salad (the dressing is super yummy!). We are partial to their baked or cooked rolls, and friends and family have enjoyed other rolls. The Spanish, Philadelphia, Firecracker rolls are their favorites. A mellow ambiance is offered in their quaint dining area which is close to Downtown. Whether youre calling in an order or dining in it wont be long before delicious sushi is delighting your palate.

Small, enough seating for about 20 people. This is NOT AYCE (All you can eat) Google is 100%wrong on that.Food was good, service was great. I tend to hold Japanese places to a higher standard, being Japanese myself and raised by a mom who is 100% and a great scratch cook.Had the #4 lunch plate, Yakitori (grilled chicken on skewer with green peppers and white onion) chicken was thigh meat, very tender. Green pepper and onion was cooked well with a light crunch.Seasoning was minuscule and was drowned in sickly sweet Tare sauce that was drizzled on top. No char on the chicken or veg, no smoke flavor, so I suspect my Yakitori was actually finished on a pan or in an oven, so not really yakitori at all.Came with 4 very small California rolls the diameter of a quarter. Tempura was one shrimp, one sweet potato, one broccoli crown the size of a peppermint breath mint.Tempura sauce was overly sweet, no dashi taste at all and very little shoyu.Added side of miso. It was more like essence of miso soup, it was so watery that you barely got a hint of the miso and the 8 pieces of tofu in the soup, were half the size of a pencil eraser., really, really small.Pet peeve, the steamed rice with my Bento lunch was served in the tray, not in a bowl making it difficult to eat.Service was great, very nice reminded me of my mom.
