TOKYO TABLE in Irvine

Good place for happy hour! We came here just before 6pm on a weekday and had a great time!Their sushi pizza was filling. Their rolls, chicken wings and calamari were all delicious. Cocktails are somehow weak but I do not have high expectations for happy hour drinks anyway.I like the area where its at. Theres so many restaurants, cafes and dessert shops plus its close to HMart for any Asian grocery needs.

One of the best Japanese resto, legit the taste of their foods, highly recommended their Tonkotsu Ramen & takoyaki, plus our server Alex is the best. Definitely, we will come back.

Just tried out a new place in Irvine with family. The vibe was great with excellent environment. The foods were good nothing was special. My dish was chicken and it was delicious and different compared to other places. It was soft and juicy, they have all kinds of sauces and chili sauces to try out. Sushi and cod dish were average. The servers were friendly and attentive. The prices were $$$ and a little bit pricey. Can’t blame them cuz it is located in Irvine and at jamboree surrounding. Anyway, maybe would try again with their other specialty later on. Came right the time of dinner therefore it started getting busier at this place.

Wow, what a nice restaurant and friendly staff! Our waiters Alex and Joseph were amazing, personable and knowledgeable. Food was amazing. Thank you Tokyo Table.

This place has the best lunch special 2 items for $15 and 3 items for $20. They use high quality Japanese short grain rice. Quality of their sashimi is very fresh. Alex is so chill and cool. Having BOTH great food with excellent service together these days are pretty rare.

I don’t usually leave reviews. However we just left this place. My son wanted sushi for his birthday and we were recommended to this place. We waited for over an hour after placing our order. Asked the waitress Rachel for an update on our food and she came back to say, “they lost your ticket and they haven’t started on your food.” Even though they came with our appetizer and drinks. I understand things happen but stuff like that can be avoided if she came to check on us every so often.

Nestled at the back of Irvines Diamond Plaza, at Tokyo Table you will find a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food!Full bar and happy hour menu available for a little after-work festivities 😁 We tried the pineapple mojito and lychee mojito 🍹My party had the miso soup, crunchy shrimp roll and assorted tempura (shrimp and chefs choice of veggies) as starters. A good start 👌Mains included Chicken Katsu (not pictured), Garlic Shrimp Mahalo Style, and Miso Glazed Black Cod. The Chicken Katsu came with the sauce on the side, allowing the chicken to remain crispy until ready to take that bite! The Garlic Shrimp was delicious and for me, turned into 2 servings.... And the Miso Glazed Black Cod was light and flaky with a sweet flavor.Rounded off with the meal with Honey Toast. Toasted bread cubes served in a box of bread with Honey and ice cream. Light desert after our meal.If you havent been here before, I recommend it. They have a great selection of sushi as well 🍣

Food was amazing. Had a crunch roll sushi and the spicy chicken katsu burger, both were really good. Portions are quite perfect for me, not too small not too big. Would definitely recommend for good satisfying sushi.

I’m very disappointed. This is my first time eating here since they’ve been under new management. The food is not good, the portions are smaller and many items have been removed from the Chicken Katsu Curry dinner. I will not eat here again nor will I recommend it to friends and family. This plate and place was once my favorite. The price has gone up significantly and the quality and quantity has decreased greatly.
