2023-11-18 12:14:45Came here for an early dinner. Colleague and I were the only ones there, and we got a teppenyaki show all to ourselves. I ended up getting the chicken and shrimp combo. It was a decent teppenyaki. Portions were not as big as what Im used to at a teppenyaki. I typically have enough for left overs for what I pay. You get rice as part of the meal, but noodles are extra charge. Overall this restaurant was very good.

2023-11-08 21:45:06Food was OK. A little too much butter and oil for my taste. The service was a little lacking. It took a while for our orders to be taken. The appetizer did all come out at once. The table next to us, which was seated later, had their cook way before we did.

2023-11-06 01:18:52When we arrived we went to the bar & waited for our group to arrive, the bartender was sociable, cordial drinks were good. Our table was soon available . i.e. short wait, our seating arrangement was tight for our group we had, 8. Our cook was friendly, professional, and courteous, as were the staff serving us. Show was entertaining & enjoyable. The food was well cooked although Bland without spice, i.e., basics salt & pepper. The steak was cooked to my liking, the shrimp could have used a little less time, and the fried rice was good.My recommendation is that perhaps the meat should have been marinated or other spices should have been added/offered. Overall, our experience was pleasant and enjoyable

2023-10-08 03:15:04Tokyo Wako is very nostalgic. Service and food were good as before but the interior needs some updating. The place has been the same since it opened. I dont think it ever remodeled regardless. Still good food. Good service nostalgic atmosphere. This was the first time weve been there in about 15 years but its just as we remembered it.

2022-11-04 04:54:31It was a wonderful restaurant. It had half the room set up for teppanyaki group style dinners and they also had individual tables for those who wanted a more intimate meal. We chose a table and the food was delicious!! Highly recommended.

2021-03-28 05:27:21I have been there twice: 3 years ago and tonight, and both my visits are fantastic. The atmosphere of Japan is everywhere - starting from front door and continuing to the very last minute of your visit at parking lot.Staffers are really friendly and welcoming. Everyone knows what to do. The food is ok but the manner to cook and present it is outstanding. They cook it in from of you and it is a real performance.watch my photos and videos and you will understand it.Highly recommend!

2023-09-03 03:19:37Been coming here for over 25 years, and its just as great today, maybe even better, than it was back then. So fun to have my kiddos feeding the fish just like I did when I was their age. The seared tuna was the best ever!!!!

2023-08-14 04:56:26Mr. Taka the restaurant manager was refusing to let us dine in for lunch, because they were closing in 20 minutes. He said we had to have reservations and that we should come back at 4pm I told him we drove from far away but he didnt seem to care. The restaurant was pretty much empty. When caucasian couple came in he said he would seat them in less than 30min. He was making so many excuses with me and had horrible English accent, that I couldnt understand. Thats when I whent up to him and ask why they were able to get seated if they didnt have reservations. Mr. Taka realized and seated me. I couldnt belive it! We were being descriminated maybe because I was wearing flip flops and didnt fit to his restaurant image. I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 30 years and have celebrated many birthday days. I felt so humiliated by this man that I will not go back.
