Im more a meat & tater guy. But I was pleasantly surprised at Tomos. Staff was cordial, patient and helpful. The eats were very palatable. Prices were reasonable. Id return. Big plus for this location was that it was a hop, skip and a jump from the movie theater!

Ive been coming to Tomo for almost 10 years and its always a hit! Ive had very special moments here with loved ones and now Im bringing my 2 year old girl to enjoy and she loves the miso sup. Fish is always fresh and the chefs and staff are super friendly. I cant say enough good things about this place we just love it and will keep coming back always.

No toro, No chutoro, no Uni, no amaebi, no ikura, no unagi etc etc .Very disappointing . The ingredients did not mesh well. Taste was bland. Strike 2The nigiri rice had no vinegar. Perfect Sushi that hit the spot!Cold Japanese beers on tap, endless choices of Sushi and fast friendly service. Could not fault Tomo Sushi.The stadium roll (pictured) had more ingredients than you could poke a chopstick at! It tasted so good we ordered another!The Gyoza was done to perfection and the dipping vinegar added a a good amount of bite.

Sitting at the bar was fun! Chef seemed to be having a good time and was really friendly. But most importantly, the sushi was bombbbbb! We loved it and I think we found a couple favorite rolls :) Pictured top to bottom: Spider Roll, Red Crunch Roll, and Lion King roll. Highly recommend with a Japanese beer!

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. $15 for calamari rings that came out of a package. $20 for a 49er roll that was so over-wrought with competing flavors that I didnt know what I was eating. The saving grace was the Hamachi Toro Nigiri, but at $11.50, Ive had much better for less elsewhere. I mention the high prices, but quite frankly, Im very willing to pay a fair price, if not overpriced food, but quite frankly, this was not good. Waste of $50.

Friendly staff, we come here often usually before or after a movie. They are very cognizant for movie movie goers. Weve told them one time we had to go see a movie within an hour and a half and they took our order right away and the food came out quite quickly with plenty of time to make the movie. The quality of food is more than decent and the price is very competitive. If youre hungry I recommend the Gourmet Bento boxes. You can pick and choose whatever you want. My honey chose the tempora, California roll, sashimi. I chose the three meat combo teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and chicken katsu. They come with salad and miso soup. We enjoy their sushi roll as well.

Tomo meant Friend in Japanese per Taylor (a Tomo employee). Well, it is not just a friendly place, but an awesome place to dine in or order food to go because the food are fresh and delicious. Also, Management (Joshue), Chefs (Michael and Angel) and Waitresses Taylor and Chloe have allowed me and customers alike to have a wonderful experience on being served with camaraderie and being treated as a family. Every Tomo employee is working with a Team effort kind of attitude and really providing great service, but the one that is doing and exceptional job is Taylor. Her customer service, her communications toward customers, her demeanor, and her professionalism are outstanding. I recommend Tomo highly to everybody in experiencing what Customer Service and Hospitality is all about. Well done and Keep up the great work.

Really great! Did not make reservations on a Friday night, holiday weekend and had only a short wait. Super friendly service and great food. Lots to choose from on the menu for sushi lovers AND also for our non fish eating carnivorous scuba diving friends!! Veg heads have a wide selection as well. Amazing food and exceptional customer service! We placed a very large phone order last Friday night at 8pm and the gentleman who took the call explained they were busy and it would take 30 minutes as they had just opened up their dining area. Delicious food, excellent service, reasonable pricing.Roughly as cost effective as take out. I order a pretty big portion (2 entrees) and my partner orders a lot of sides (typically 4 or 5 and takes some home). After this, two large beers, and refillable iced tea, we were looking at an $80 bill before gratuity. Typically were looking at around $100 before gratuity.The staff there also, very evidently, work together as a team. We didnt have just one waiter/waitress, but instead 3 were assigned to the area which made the wait times between beverage refills (something thats important to me) virtually negligible. I wish more restaurants followed this model. It definitely puts the customer experience first while still efficiently freeing up tables.Take into account as well that the restaurant is next door to the movie theater, and this makes a great night out.

The variety of entree dinners, noodles, curry, and sushi was generous. The portion size was average. The taste was slightly better than nearby comparators. I had the combination deluxe box, basically choose 3 options from what is listed. The spicy chicken was not spicy at all but the sauce it came with was tasty. The tempura was nicely prepared, crispy and not too oily. The California rolls were pretty small and lackluster. The service was fair. Not a bad option but not a must try.

Ive been going to Tomo for about 2 years, and I love it! The food is delicious. The fish is always fresh, and they have a good sake selection. This place is perfect for date night, or for a night out with some friends. I highly recommend this place if you want a good cozy sushi spot. Also, the movie theater is right next door, so if you want, you can do dinner and a movie easily.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We came here and got seated after the people that JUST walked in. The service is terrible. She didnt give us forks or anything. Just led us to the table and walked off. After we got our food. Which was mostly gross..dont get any sushi there..we sat there 10 minutes waiting for our check. The bathrooms are to the least surprise dirty and there were literally wet hand towels on the floor holding the door open. There should be another food safety inspection. This place is terrible and horribly overpriced. Best feature is the free parking next door.

It was better than we were expecting given that its in the same complex as the movie theater. Its not the cheapest, but the food was very good. I was sat at the bar. After waiting a while, the chef asked if I knew what I wanted. I told him I didnt have a menu, since no one had brought one. One of the servers brought me a menu. I found something that looked good and ordered it. When the food was close to ready, my server asked if anyone had brought me a drink. I said no, since no one had taken a drink order from me. The food arrived, and it tasted pretty good. I had a generous helping of tuna. Before I was done eating my food the server brought me my check. I finished eating, paid, and I wont be coming back.It would have been nice to not have been all but ignored by the serving staff, to not have my check given so early like they wanted to get rid of me. I gave two stars instead of one because the food was pretty good. The chef was the best part of the restaurant for sure.

The quality of sushi is good. I had a roll on a couple of occasions and wasnt terribly happy but, every time I order the chirashi I love it. Always fresh, flavorful, melt in your mouth quality sushi. Price is comparable to other sushi joints. My only complaint is that service can be very hit and miss here. If theyre very busy or very slow it seems service suffers. Ive had to flag down a waitress to get more water, tea, or order more sushi.

DONT COME HERE. Service was incredibly, INCREDIBLY rude. Served my order to the wrong person and then expected me to eat that meal that was half eaten by said wrong person. They angrily refused to replace my plate. Had to order a whole nother serving just to eat. Also made payment a pain. Saturday evening dinner:1. Ordered Shrimp tempura and Oyakodon.2. Shrimp tempura and miso soup were very good. Oyakodon was okay(I’m not a Japanese cuisine person, so it might be good, but I’m not a fan of the dish). Oyakodon with little amounts of wasabi was very good. I tried wasabi for the first time, be careful with the consumption anount, make sure you don’t make direct contact while consumption(haha, thank me later🤣)3. You are also able to sit down at the bar and watch the chefs cook.We ordered the beef teriyaki and salmon sashimi Tomo dishes - both were exceptional. The Sashimi was the best Ive ever had. This place is definitely a once a week must for me! The prices are very decent.The only downside is that there are no utensils provided other than chopsticks. The food is mediocre. For example, the tempura batter is wrong. Its extremely thick and more like fish and chips batter it was thicker than the actual stuff inside see photos. The sushi rolls use the wrong rice. They use regular white rice. The salmon sashimi was not very fresh. It was on the chewy and soft side. If you have had authentic japanese food, you can really tell the difference. The price is okay for what it is and the food comes out quick. Other than that, I wouldnt recommend this place.

Yay, last meal of the year. Tomo is always very pleasant. Called ahead of time to see if they would be opened during the holiday hours. It was quite packed, but our party of 4 got seated within 10 minutes. Ordered two combo bentos (spicy pork, croquette, tempura, spicy tuna, salmon, and chicken teriyaki), a chirashi don, a Tomo roll, Super California roll, hamachi plate, and agedashi tofu. I really enjoyed my chirashi don - the sashimi was fresh, thick and buttery. Everything was very tasty and we were full pretty quickly. The servers were very helpful and patient, even though they had a full house. Love this place.

I think the food was good. But I really disliked the server and services there. It really sucked. The waitress was very rude. She would not stop more than two seconds to actually get the idea of what we needed. And when we ordered salmon nigiri, she had to correct us “sake nigiri, it’s sake nigiri” I know it’s sake but it’s also salmon, I worked in a Japanese restaurant before! This is in America, everything has a English name too. She made it sound like we never had sushi and don’t even know what is it. Super dumb, you are doing a service job and in a service industry - you want make tips? Then serve customers! I am surprised that I even wrote you a tip.

I had the 16 piece Sashimi Dinner ($28) very disappointed that were just four different pieces: tuna, yellow tail, salmon and one vaguely brown white fish. while the quality was fine, there could have been 2 pieces of 8 different sashimi and it would have been a much more interesting dinner. I talked to the sushi chef afterwards, he said if asked, they can go slightly off menu.
