2023-08-15 04:45:42This was a good find! I happen to get over here during the week. The sushi chef Ken was entertaining very talkative and a great sushi chef. It was a nice relaxing evening the place wasnt too crowded parking was easy and the mail for two of us was around $100. I will go back! They had a very nice variety of rolls. The albacore spicy sashimi was delicious.

2023-11-12 00:09:21I really like the food, atmosphere, and service here. This place is in an unassuming location in woodland hills, not far from westfield mall, and across the st. from a business park. Food is always delicious, and and a good place for a lunch. Thank you for the friendly service and food. ❤️

2023-08-20 20:08:17*This is NOT an all you eat sushi place *Fun sushi spot with lots of sushi and a few non sushi items. It’s definitely a little bit more on the pricier side than other sushi places in town but you can’t go wrong with the fresh fish. I got the crunchy shrimp tempura roll and it was delicious. I love the eel sauce it comes with. We got a couple other sushi’s to try. They have some great non rice sushi options as well.I deducted one star for service. I had to ask for soy sauce twice and a glass of water twice before it was given to me. We had about three different waiters so I’m not sure if it all got mixed in between the people switching out but service is an area of improvement. I love the ambiance of this spot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

2023-07-25 21:05:49I made a mistake in submitting my review of Tomaya. The information below is for Yomato in Stevenson Ranch, CA. NOT for Tomaya in Woodland Hills, CA.Please take this to heart. Tomaya has been reviewed by me before. That review is different. The information below should NOT be for the Woodland Hills, CA restaurant. The best thing I can say about this restaurant is about the server, Donay. She was so attentive to my colleague and me. She made us feel as though we were celebrities. The food was good. Not exceptional but still refreshing. The meat dish tasted good but a tad tough The atmosphere was ok. Furniture and ambience is dated. The wood deck outside had almost half of the entire deck color peeling terribly . I was surprised by the headress of a staff member who dressed up in a comical way. guess its cultural but it fell flat. Another staff member was banging on a gong to emphasize the celebration. It was too loud and annoying.

2023-07-02 02:11:15Excellent place for sushi - the individual pieces of eel, salmon, yellowtail, and tuna were great. The flavors are elevated and service was fast.

2022-08-18 14:07:28Great food, super fresh fish. We lost our server about halfway thru our meal, she just stopped coming back and no one picked us up. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

2023-08-25 03:21:01Expensive and small portions comparted to other sushi restaurants. They advertise a happy hour 5-6 and after 9:30 with a big sign, and if you check the happy hour menu on their web site, they have some good food and drink deals. When you get there and are seated, however, then you get a different happy hour menu, without the same deals, basically normal prices. Their non happy hour prices are pretty steep..$45 for a ten piece combo. This isnt in some fancy neighborhood either, its next to an abandoned Frys Electronics and some gas stations. The sushi was good quality, however.

2022-09-15 04:21:24Delicious, fresh, well prepared sushi in all forms with very kind staff. Better than most of the best in Chicago. Try the riceless rolls and you wont be disappointed. The one place - over several others - I will seek out the next time I am in LA!
