Wow!!! Absolutely the BEST Japanese/Korean cuisine in San Diego!!! I had the Bibimbap and my kids had Shrimp Tempera Udon, salmon rolls and french fries. Mid-way through the dinner my kids were already asking to come back. Grew Up in Orange County/LA... and lived here for about 15 years. This is the first Korean/Japanese restaurant that I can firmly say, does it right.

The tonkotsu ramen and bulgulgi bowl combo consists of a full size bowl of ramen and a small bowl of rice with bulgulgi. The ramen was ok but service was great. Very friendly staff and our waitress was so attentive. Shes friendly and took care of our party.

Excellent Korean food with great service. Some dishes a bit spicy but youll also find something mild for kids or folks with a sensible tongue. You may sometimes choose regular or spicy.Probably the best kimchi fried rice in the area. The Ramen variants are also delicious. And many delicious rice bowls. Yummy!

Overall: Part of me is unsure how I feel about this place. Service was a little slow (poor girl, only one server for 6 tables and take out), ambience was nice, and food was good (but it didnt taste like regular Japanese food). +1 pointsFood: +0.5 starsOyster Jalapeno Udon: Weirdly enough, I liked the jalapeno add to it. There was no oyster taste and the little random ones on top is weird.Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl: It was a large portion but it had random slices of dill pickles...weirdTonkatsu Ramen: The brother was whiter than other broths. It was flavorful but something was...offMiso Ramen: The broth was a lot sweeter, didnt taste like traditional misoPlum Wine: It was pretty good :) but my friend didnt like itService/Staff: Getting water or the bill took a long time. Almost considering paying cash to leave. I felt bad because there was only one server for taking out and handling 6 tables and walk-ins. +0.5 pointsPrice: The price was not bad. It was pretty normal. 12 bucks for ramen +1 points

Enjoyed the place. I had the spicy tonkotsu ramen. It didn’t stand out, but it was good. The portion size was huge, loved that! The service was excellent.

Good location in poway - with a great selection of food options. the menu contains both korean and japanese items.we ordered the poke, tempura udon, fried chicken wings, and spicy crunch-type roll (forgot the name).highly recommended and would come here again to explore some of the korean dishes and maybe also the ramen well.

Delicious ramen and poke lunch combo with good portions. took a star off for the paper cups and paper plates as the sushi rice gets stuck and unravels. definitely coming back.

This place is a small but adorable spot for Korean/Japanese fusion cuisine. The owners are Korean, and they have one of the best bulgogi Ive tried. The prices are acceptable for their size and the dishes. They played famous Korean songs while I was there, but the volume was not overwhelming, which was a huge plus. And the gave us free treats and probiotic drinks at the end!

Excellent flavors and excellent service. Whether you’re ordering takeout or eating in, they always include a handful of treats/cookies to wrap up the meal. Haven’t tasted anything bad, but the garlic edamame is killer good. Love their sake, ramen, rolls, bulgogi, and poke. They even gave our kids fun Japanese drinks with the little marble inside. This is definitely one of our regular places now. We used to always hit up Poway Sushi Lounge but it’s always a wait. Not here, thankfully and it’s pretty small inside. I’m ok with keeping it a gem of the area 😉

I hade the bulgogi bento box, the combination of the items was great but the best thing in the box was the salad. Great service, food was fast, good on tap menu, great atmosphere.
