Is it over hyped and pretty pricey? Yes. Do I like it still? Yes. This place isnt one you would frequent but my family likes coming here if we feel like treating ourselves. They offer a wide variety of coconut desserts with different flavors that change and the coconut pudding is so silky with the right texture, sweetness, and everything. I love the mochi in the mango one and I tried one of their drinks for the first time (the mango pomelo one) and it was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought about how it just may be worth the price. The cashier was very kind to me even though it was nearing the end of her shift, asking if I would like a bag, spoon, etc. and she was very patient with me, also making sure she got the order right. I hope to expand more of my palette and try more of their flavors next time I try it out.

I got the coconut Taro one and it was good. Packaging is cute. You can definitely recycle the jar and that is a plus. A bit expensive but I guess that is expected because they use a very good quality jars for their coconut desserts. I will probably come back to try the rest of what they offer.

Da Hong Pao Latte w/ Jelly with 50% sugar and the earl grey pudding and mango pudding are literally out of this world. I was worried about the prices but the taste exceeds expectations!!! Brownie points for the compostable straw.

New Tong Sui outlet in Milpitas! Great service and quality as usual like their other locations. Good to have one closer to home. Boba, drinks and coconut puddings are amazing.

EXPENSIVE! Then don’t go there often. Don’t complain or give negative reviews for it. I don’t see why people need to complain that it’s expensive. It’s really good though; therefore, it’s worth it even though it’s expensive. I rather pay a higher price for something that taste great than for something less expensive but aren’t good.That being said, their small jars of Tong Sui are really good. I also like that if you wash and return 10 jars you get 1 free :)

If you like coconut, great desserts. Very fresh.Best to eat right away as it doesnt have any preservatives.
