The place is nicely decorated, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The service was slow and sometimes our waiter disappeared completely. The food is good, close to authentic. Big portions! The chips and salsa are really good and they have a lot of options for cocktails and margaritas. You have to pay at the register on your way out, not sure how they control that. A lot of parking spots.

Food was absolutely delicious. I had the chorizo sope with rice and beans. And my friend had the chicken mole. Their salsa has all the flavor and just enough bite. Cadillac margarita to top it off and I was more than content.

Found this beautiful Mexican restaurant in Solana Beach / Del Mar area. This is the real deal. Great Mexican food with a 6 page menu to prove they have everything. A must go to eat see and be entertained. They even have hundreds of parakeets!

An amazing experience. I’m on a work trip visiting from Toronto. We don’t have anything close to this quality when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is exactly what you want for a fun finding experience. 10/10

This is the most Amazing Mexican food restaurant. I live in Tennessee and when I visit I have to go here. The food is amazing, the service is amazing and so is the Atmosphere. 💯And they have the BEST chips and salsa!

Turkey tacos and carne asada street tacos were legit! Guacamole was on point. Our server Aya was awesome!

My wife and I had our first date here over a decade ago. We brought our kids for the first time this visit on the anniversary of that first meeting. They are always friendly, and the food is top notch. You cant go wrong coming here. You will have a great experience.

An excellent choice of a Mexican restaurant with a very extensive eclectic menu. The patio seating added to the ambience of the evening. They also feature a large selection of signature margaritas.

Get the grilled meal for 2 and youll have a meal for 3 or 4 depending on your appetites. The environment, especially in the patio area is delightful on a fun date night. The margaritas were delicious and the chips and salsa hit the spot. It is a little bit pricey, but for the location and serving size it makes sense. Overall this trumps any spot youd find on the Del Mar strip and is worth the 10 minute drive.

Best Mexican food in the world, hands down. Some people say Fidels next door is better, but theyre insane. Tonys has not only the tastiest Mexican food, but also some of the most authentic. My family has been going here for three generations, and its still just as good. Prices are about normal for a sit-down place, maybe a slight bit above, but its worth it. If you even somewhat like Margaritas get one of theirs, you wont find a better margarita anywhere. If you are craving Mexican food, this is the best place to go, 100% of the time.They do have some different hours than a lot of other business, so check to make sure before you head over, and the hours change during the races, so you may want to call and ask during those times.Wait times can get long during standard busy hours (Friday nights, Saturday nights, etc.) So plan for that if you are going during a popular time, but again, the wait will be worth it.
