Yummy!!!! If you want one of the best Gyros you’ve ever had head on over to this place. If you try it once you’ll definitely be back. The burgers are also super delicious! I haven’t tried everything on the menu but I’d bet everything is good. The portion size is very generous and the flavors are on point! Nothing overpowering and the perfect blend of yummyness in each bite. Highly recommended.
Finding this place after being in Greece a month before was a nice treat and the gyros tasted pretty authentic.It was pretty pricey to be honest. $35 for 2 people is a little steep but they are big portions with a lot of meat so I can’t complain too much.

Set under the magnificence of Sequoia, this Greek outpost is a pit-stop must. Our group recommends the delicious Gyro as well as the felafel. Tony gave us a good minute of his time while tending to his quirky truck and quaint picnic area. I can’t recommend this spot enough!
I was visiting from Chicago and stopped by Tony’s Tavern on Wheels. Ordered the ribeye sandwich and I have to say it was absolutely incredible. All the ingredients were fresh and so well put together!If I can leave a review better than five stars, I would!!!
We had a little bit of everything and I can say it was all delicious. Smash burger, Sherman Burger, Gyro Sandwich, and the 3 rivers plate. I will definitely go there again, and you should check it out too.
Superb Burgers! The owners are very curtious and make you feel welcome and at home.Cant recommend this place enough, especially if you are from a bigger city and used only to burgers from big fast food chains (eyes will be opened ;) )
Tonys taverna on wheels is a really nice outdoor place with a cosy ambiente and delicious food.We had several different dishes and everything was tasting great. It was no problem at all to switch for a vegetarian alternative. I definitely would come back.
What first brought us here was the awesome ambiance and delicious smell lingering on the highway. Once we stopped, we were impressed by the super cool owner Tony and his insanely friendly staff. And to top it off, the food was absolutely delicious. Could not ask for a better experience here!
This was absolutely delicious and a pleasant surprise. I love Greek food so much so getting quality, fresh, food for dinner after a great day in the river is a must. So happy they are open even as a truck now, can’t wait for the full blown restaurant. Loveeee it!

This is Tonys place, the chef from LA that has owned and operated the Firehouse Taverna in Tarzana for 25 years. That place is bomb too. He throws it down with the food, and offers nothing but the highest quality. The portions they serve are for the gluttons. Order one, expect to take half home for lunch tomorrow. The wrap on the truck and van looking 100% by the way!

Tony’s food truck in Three Rivers is good enough to be the destination just a food stop. We had the Greek Salad and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Everything tasted fabulous! Oh, and while you’re in Three Rivers you might want to stop by the National Parks to work up an appetite so you’re ready for the generous portions they serve. We had to change our itinerary so we could work in dinner there the next day too. It was that good…

2023-12-01 01:25:52Stumbled upon this treasure on our way to Sequoia National Park. We love Greek food and have had it all over, even in Greece and this place is legit! You know it’s authentic when the Greek olives in the gyro salad are not pitted, preserving the natural flavor. And check out this General Sherman burger photo. Plan to hike 10 miles after you eat it! Met Tony’s wife Maritza who shared their story of moving from LA to put down roots in Three Rivers and have already started their brick & mortar restaurant down the road. 2023-11-09 20:17:47Was vacationing at Sequoia national park on August and we did a little detour looking for gas...on our way we encountered this gem. Ate a burger (think it was the smashed burger) and it was hands down one of the best I have ever had and my husband also thought so too. Was unsure on what to order and the staff was very helpful. The owners were there and they were so friendly; everybody was great. Too bad it was more than an hour drive because I wouldve gone everyday. If you happen to be close or passing by definitely give it a try.

2023-10-20 02:13:28There are two good restaurants in this area and this is the second one (besides River view restaurant).First of all the Ambiente is really awesome. You can sit outside on some benches which is really good for a food truck. The lights in the tree and the old museum trucks are really a big pluspoint if you are okay with eating outside. The Service was also great for a food truck. The Food itself is really great. Before i ate here I saw the photos and thought it could be more like a truck stop where you just take a Sandwich and leave without getting really full, but you will get really full. Take a sandwich or a burger + french fries and a drink and you wont be hungry afterwards (Maybe its even to much for you). Everything tastes really fantastic even the vegetarian meals.Furthermore its just a wonderful thing to see the hardworking owners building up there small business here and it works. I wish them the best and recommend everyone to eat here, partly because other restaurants in this region are more expensive and offer less in terms of food, atmosphere and all in all experience.

2023-12-06 22:16:53Tony’s Taverna is currently on wheels while they complete construction on their restaurant down the road, opening sometime in 2024. Its location at the Three Rivers Historical Museum allows for plenty of parking, clean public restrooms and lots of outdoor seating with Greek music playing in the background. The owners are friendly and kind and the food is absolutely delicious! They offer authentic Greek cuisine along with local favorites such as their infamous Smashburger and fries, plus plenty of vegetarian options.

2023-10-19 03:00:13Awesome food truck with really good food. We had the Three rivers choice Plate and the sequoia burger, and both tasted fantastic. The Fries are another recommendation you should not miss.Its outdoor seating in a wonderfully ambiente under a tree.The service has been great and the food (5 dishes) just took 10min.If you are driving down from sequoia National Park you should not miss to stop here!!!
