Everything added to the noodle were very delicious. Meat is also fresh. Happy to find this gem in sacto.
Not since travelling china have I been able to have Guilin Noodles and this place does it pretty authentically.

The service is good, the environment is clean, the food is delicious and the portions are sufficient.The difference between soup and dry lao is that dry lao comes with a bowl of clear soup, and the rice noodles are soaked directly in the soup. The classic flavor aka House Special is actually a combination. Its a bit like hot and sour noodles, but less sour and spicy.
I hope the boss can read this comment. You have a waiter who blatantly asks customers for tips, and the service is not good. It is reasonable to ask for tips. I transferred money via WeChat, and she said: Please transfer the tips to me, and I said You didnt even get the service and still asked for a tip. She still retorted and was speechless. The whole process was just bringing the bowl of noodles to the table, and then there was no service in the middle. You even asked for a tip aggressively. This is the first time Ive seen her! I suggest that bosses teach their employees a truth: Tips are never compulsory, they are voluntary. Customers will give it to you if they think you are worthy. Don’t ask customers if they think you are not worthy. Will I go there to eat next time? Wont. Just because of this waiter!
I originally planned to go, but I saw some comments about mandatory tipping and poor service attitude. I lowered my head in an instant and wouldnt go.
The noodles are delicious and I have eaten them many times. But the last time I went there, an auntie had a bad attitude. We added extra crispy skin and braised eggs. She forgot about it and got angry at us.

I visited Choice Restaurant for lunch. I am pleased with the service of the staff, although the grilled pork vermicelli is not satisfactory according to my culinary style. However, I do appreciate the friendliness. That makes me set back when I have the opportunity. Thank you.

I don’t know if the chef has changed, but the portion is not as big as before. It used to be 4/5 of the bowl, but now it’s less than 2/3. Its gone after a few mouthfuls

2023-11-11 02:43:10First time at this restaurant. The Staff was friendly. She greeted me immediately and offered Dine-in or To-Go. I sat in for a quick bite while on work break. Portion size was excellent for one person. Quick & efficient service.. I tried the Crispy Pork Hot & Sour Soup. Delicious! the Sour combination was on the side to not over power your taste. Server quickly refilled my water while asking if meal was good. Great recommendations. Soup of Day- Onion soup was great small portion to try and enjoy. The restaurant filled up quick with locals coming to get lunch. Clean, organized and spacious place. I will be back to try another meal.

2023-05-30 16:55:15This is Chinese comfort food. It is high in carbohydrates, and the crispy pork has a lot of fatty meat. However, it is very delicious. I did the crispy pork noodles to go, and the pork was very crispy. A side note, the broth should be drunk separately when you eat the noodle dish. This is how you are supposed to eat it. This allows the noodles to absorb the sauces the dish comes with.I like this restaurant, but it isnt something Ill eat often as I try to eat healthy. However, its something that hits the spot when you are craving good quality noodles and crispy pork.

2021-08-23 18:45:38My all time favorite restaurant. Would go pretty much every week or two. Also one of the most authentic Guilin rice noodle even compared to the ones in the Bay Area. The only two courses that I go for is their option A or B, being the ultimate Guilin rice noodle, A is with soup and B is with just the sauce.
