Tosai Kitchen in Inglewood

I enjoyed the food. I ordered it through Uber eats and Tosai Kitchen packed really well. The miso soup was covered in plastic wrap and then closed with the lid to prevent a spill, the food was placed in a brown paper bag and then stapled in a secure way so the food would not move around during transportation. I got the Miso Soup, Shrimp Dumpling and Salmon Avocado Roll, everything tasted great, looked presentable and I wouldn’t mind ordering from them again.

What can I say. Dumplings were bad, I mean, they were chewy; taste was a little weird, like it wasn’t real shrimp.Sushi was not bad but I was expecting something really good for the price. I mean, at least a little bit more fresh.Delivery was fast and presentation was very good, but I don’t know how to feel about those dumplings. Hopefully my stomach will be ok tomorrow.

Possibly the worst Sushi Ive ever eaten. The rice was overcooked in gummy and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Sushi rice is usually flavored with vinegar and sugar, this tasted like it had absolutely nothing in it. The special crunchy shrimp roll was covered with some tasteless unidentifiable orange goop. The wasabi was gray. It tasted like it had been prepared 3 days ago.

I ordered from DoorDash the family Oceana it was awful. I spit most of it out. They did not use sticky rice. The rice was of a paste consistency like mashed potatoes. It’s given me heartburn. I spent $30 through DoorDash delivery. I’m very disappointed. Do not order from them!

Absolutely terrible quality.. I would have been more satisfied with sushi from Ralph’s grocery store .. the rolls were supposed to have real crab and salmon but instead both had what tasted more like dry canned tuna. Shrimp tempura roll had old stale tasting batter like it had been sitting out for hours before they used it. The crunchy albacore roll was the only item that was decent from my order that totaled a little over $40

Unagi don was not authentic with not tasty.Mixed sashimi of salmon and tuna slices were overly thin, lean and blend.Very poor value for money.

Never order take out / to go. They will not have your order ready and not willing to fix the problem. My co workers and I placed a big order and they could not find this order. The little woman kept shouting cancel and reorder. It was a 145 $ order and was not willing to do that option.

I order almost once a week and the food is always great and everything is always fresh

Only reason I give a 1 star is because make sure u don’t send anyone to pick up your food. They made a big deal because my daughter picked up my food. When she had the order info and the amount paid plus the credit card on her. My daughter almost had to fight to get my food. Never again……. Terrible customer service …….

The tuna, salmon and crab in the family oceana are from a can. I was disappointed, not what I expected.
