I was told this ramen place was great and I was not impressed. We got the black garlic and miso ramens and for both, the noodles were fairly standard but the broth was very meh and flavorless. I ordered extra bamboo shoots and had maybe 5 total. The pork was extremely dry and tasteless. The eggs were not great. We did get and enjoyed the spicy edamame and the softshell crab. The service was great, but not enough for us to want to return unfortunately.

Ive been here a couple of times prior to today. This time, I brought my wife for her first time. She absolutely loved it! Oh of course I loved it too.We both had the Black Garlic Ramen. It is absolutely amazing! So delicious and flavorful! We both shared a Super Rainbow Roll. That was awesome also! The sushi is fresh and tasty. The place is on the smaller side, so seating could potentially be a problem. There is a dmall area for outdoor seating. We were able to get right in though. The servers were friendly and helpful. It seemed like all the workers there greeted us when walking in. I cant wait to go back again.

My coworker was raving about the Black Garlic Ramen soup. I stopped by and got my order with extra noodles extra spicy, per recommendation of the server. The red paste definitely kicked up the flavor nicely. Its good food, but I think its too pricey for a noodle soup.

California rolls are real tasty here. Tonkotsu ramen tastes great except I usually dont have corn and it is a bit overwhelming. Probably just because I am not used to corn in ramen. But overall tastes great. Service was real good.

My wife’s son took me there for late lunch. We had drinks appetizers, ramen and tuna and toro rolls. We had 3 different servers. This place needs to have a 5🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ rating. Jammed pack, running like a well oiled machine. Thanks for a great experience. 🙏

For myself, I thought it was very good. A little pricey, but this sort of quality is not easily found in Fairfield, so the price is reasonable considering that sashimi grade seafood is hard to find. I actually ordered takeout food for my mom, who is from Japan, so our expectations are higher than most.The atmosphere is very nice, small, and quaint. It is busy and we had to wait 45 minutes for our sushi to be made, which wasnt a big deal, but in case someone is expecting everything quickly, 5pm is pretty busy. We ordered ramen, sushi, and tempura. The containers for the ramen were clever. Soup and noodles with toppings were in seperate sealed containers to prevent the noodles from becoming soggy. The egg had a perfect runny yolk. The tempura was not my favorite. The shrimp was panko breaded which is not considered tempura, and the tempura lacked a crunchy coating. The sushi was very good, the ikura (salmon roe) was tasty and fresh. Despite any criticism, Totto was very impressive for me and I would definitely recommend them

The reason i gave this review was the noodles…. they are not home made and taste like cardboard. I thought they were undercooked so i sent them back… nope. Anyway i do not recommend if you know your Ramen.

First time at this place. Ordered the after school roll, black garlic ramen, and edamame. The sushi tasted fresh and had the umami flavor. The ramen was tasteful and loaded with toppings. Edamame was lightly seasoned but tasted amazing and delicious. Definitely an above average sushi/ramen spot. Will be back again.

Sushi is great, but the Tonkatsu Ramen is excellent, among the best I have had anywhere. They have high tech togo packaging that will not spill in your car! You will never eat that instant stuff again after this!

I was on the road for a few hours and was craving sushi and stopped off the freeway on the way almost home. This place is extremely small inside. The staff was unfriendly and like to stare. You will have to wait long if seating is full. I ordered 4 sushi rolls that were $20 EACH!! I didnt realize they were that much until the bill came out. The rolls did not taste worth the price AT ALL.I Ended up going to the store to buy everything for sticky rice and a few different types of rolls.Save your money and learn how to cook! It will come out better.

The lunch ramen is kind of expensive ($19/person) and they charge extra for chili oil which is complementary at a lot of other ramen places. The ramen was good. Not sure if it was $19 good.

Hit the spot. Got takeout and everything was hot and well packaged. Broth was flavorful, fresh ingredients. Would’ve liked a little more meat but still really good! The Karaage chicken mini bowl with rice was really good too, it can come as a combo with a tonkatsu ramen.

We went during lunch on a Saturday. We were a party of 3 and got the last available table. Its a small establishment, so a line can develop quickly. There was a large party that took up a good number of tables, so anytime that happens, that would leave a smaller number of tables available for small parties and couples. We ordered quickly and staff brought out our orders in a timely manner. The chicken kara-age was good, but weve had better elsewhere. The ramen was very good. It wasnt salty, and it still had an excellent taste. The tables were clean and staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Definitely worth a quick stop on a road trip. Sit down service without 30+ min wait. Black garlic ramen broth was tasty but pork was burnt and dry. My egg had a shell piece! Not the quality Im used to but Id visit again if I needed to stop on a road trip. Fun sake and ramune. Sushi looked amazing but I didnt try.

Came here with my fiance on a Friday and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, which wasnt bad, we were 5th in line. Hands down best sushi Ive had in Solano County thus far. I got the Napa roll and it was incredible. Usually I put wasabi, ginger, and a dip of soy sauce on each piece but I ran out of the wasabi and ginger pretty quick, so I ate a piece as it comes. Found out it really doesnt need the extras.My fiance got the black garlic ramen which was divine. And we split an order of the octopus/bonito flake balls, which were deliciously crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside 🤤Theres also a good assortment of sake to choose from - more than any of the other Asian food places weve eaten at.Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Japanese food.

This is the best ramen in the area by far. My wife and I come here for their cheese ramen almost weekly. Staff is super nice, the joint is very clean, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. We recommend it to all our friends and family. GO HERE!

One of our absolute favorite sushi spots in Solano county. Very fresh fish and great service! My husband and I go here for date night frequently and we both agree it’s the freshest fish we have found in the area. Try the toro, it is well worth the price and melts in your mouth! The ramen is also tasty. Even in the summer they keep the restaurant cool enough that you can enjoy a steaming bowl of ramen. I enjoy the black garlic ramen with the house spicy sauce in it.

The speed and portion sizes are spot on. One star off because the pork in our ramen was a little dry, but a good, fulfilling meal nonetheless! Both the Shoyu ramen and Black Garlic Ramen had flavorful broths, and perfectly chewy noodles. The Fish On Fire was massive.

My wife and I ordered Ramen to go - we were informed of a wait (large number of people, having recently opened and escaping rainy weather) the wait was a little longer than anticipated, however, I am assuming one of the owners? or employee? observed that we had been waiting for some time and offered a free Sapporo on the house. The ramen was fantastic and worth the wait, very well balanced. My wife had the blackened garlic, I had the Tonkotsu. We look forward to frequenting this establishment.

I come here often with my wife and my favorite is the black garlic ramen. I wouldnt consider myself a ramen head. But I do eat good ramen frequently from different areas around the bay area. By far the best in Fairfield so far. These other shops really gotta step thier game up how totto set the bar for this small commuter city.

This place was amazing, my family and I where on a long road trip and was trying to stop at the Texas Roadhouse but they had an HOUR wait time and we needed to get back on the road. We saw this place and tried it out. They got us in incredibly fast. We ordered our food and within 10 ish mins we had the food come out. The entire place was packed so we assumed a long wait, but no! The food there was amazing and I totally recommend the black miso ramen and the totto roll. Service was incredible and overall very impressed.

So to start things off, color me surprised finding out there is a local ramen and sushi restaurant near my home. Once I saw this, I had to check it out. Arrived during the lunch rush, but they had a seat ready for a single person wanting to dine in.Decided to order the tonkatsu and tempura appetizer combo as that was what I was gunning from checking the menu out prior to arrival. With that said, the wait staff and the kitchen staff were constantly moving to try and fulfill the orders in the restaurant and to go, I was willing to be patient with them. Color me surprised one of the kitchen staff manning the sushi bar where I sat actually stepped up and took my order when he asked me after a short wait. Upon inquiry, they even had hot tea as well, since it wasnt on the menu as an item.After a good... 10 minutes, my tonkatsu ramen arrived. Man, I personally enjoyed the rich flavor of the broth, the softness of the chashu, and even the bamboo shoots had an interesting and deep flavor. I made a good call with asking for the extra noodles just to prolong the tasty broth.Though, there were delays on the appetizer to my table, wondering where it was since I just knocked out my ramen. A quick inquiry to the wait staff alleviated my worries and even the kitchen staff kept me up in the loop telling me that it would arrive soon. Since I kept myself busy in the meantime, it was no penalty to the kitchen staff, seeing I was effectively stuffing myself while I waited. Once my tempura appetizer arrived (with sympathy to the delay in delivery to my table), it served as a guilty pleasure to end my meal.Honestly, as I am writing this, I am stuffed. The prices for the combo meal feels appropriate for what I got in the end. I can only hope for the continued success for Totto and I do plan to bring friends and family here in the future for a great meal. May even purchase a specialty roll next time, as that is part of the first half of their menu.
