Town Sent Seafood Restaurant in Covina

We have always had a great experience and satisfied with town Sent seafood Restaurant. But today everything crashed. We wanted to try and order steamed fish and after about 30 mins waiting it arrived. We were not disappointed with the freshness and the taste but when the bill arrived we were charged $90.00 for one Turbot fish steamed Chinese style. We were not told or warned that the price would be this absurd. They didnt say that $45 per pound was the price.Even if we could afford the this not knowing before hand was why we were so disappointed with the waiter and the restaurant.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, and I got to say this is one of the best canto places to eat Chinese food in West Covina. They have fresh seafood, lunch menus, and they have a private room too if needed to host some sort of celebration. The owner is nice and attentive and we had nothing but great service with the staff.FoodI had had lunch menu, dinner, and has even thrown bday dinner event for my kids 1st bday. There is so many great dishes but I wanted to make sure to write down some recommendations in case anyone was looking for some .Walnut Shrimp - this is one of my favorite dishes here with the walnut and the big pieces of shrimp with the glaze. Must try !Duck with Bun (pretty sure it’s not the name) they make their own in house, and has the shrimp chips as well as oyster sauce and onions to compliment the bun.French Filet Mignon- This has a great flavor and great with riceAfter food, they always have either almond jello, or fresh watermelon or oranges.Again it’s always a great experience here, and there is so much food on the menu, you could come each time and order something new. If you are into canto Chinese food or seafood, and don’t want to drive to Alhambra area, no need to!

Stopping back in for some dinner. Food is flavourful and tasty. Seasoning is good. The spicy dishes are not on the hot side. Made with dried red chilis. Weekend seating is available. High volume of phone orders. If you have to wait for seating. The waiting area is on the very small side. Parking lot is tight and on the small side. Not sure where handicap parking is located. Front entrance is off of main street.

The food was outstanding. Extremely flavorful, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Mongolian beef, crispy fried shrimp and clams with black bean sauce were phenomenal. The wonton soup tasted great as well. without question, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Covina. I recommend you give this spot a try you will not be disappointed. And if you happen to stop in say hi to Ted and tell him Lee sent you!

Went in on a Saturday evening. Got seated right away, servers were amazing, and they got all our food out in little to no time at all. The food was delicious! Not our first time there and definitely be our last. Highly recommend this restaurant! Best Chinese food Ive had.

Favorite dish was the lightly breaded fried fish. So delicious! Great Chinese food and good quality

The minute me and my husband sat in, the waiter recommended a live fish dish, with fish head soup and steam fish tail. I asked if it would be too much for 2 people and the waiter said it should be just enough for us. We took it and ordered a veggie and a rice. Fish was almost no good, the tail is way too big and meaty and nearly flavorless. As it turned out, maybe he chose a big fish for us because it was priced by weight. The fish dish itself cost us $103. I am definitely not going back.

My family’s favorite Chinese food spot that we’ve been coming to for years! The staff is so friendly and welcoming that we just keep coming back. The food is always delicious! The squid, chow mein, egg flower soup, and pork chops are my favorites! But we usually also get roasted chicken, orange chicken, and a few other plates to share.The staff are very attentive and the service is always amazing! We love this place.

Great authentic Chinese food with generous portions. Wait staff are fast and attentive to refill tea pot, drinks and inquire if you want more food. Has to be good as the place was very busy on a Sunday.
