Great sushi and friendly service. We ordered the crazy monkey, baked salmon, and popcorn roll. (I cant remember the exact name on that one.) My favorite thing we ordered was the Avacado Bomb. I only have one pictured because we ate the rest before I remembered to take one. So roll with avacado on the outside is the crazy monkey, the baked salmon has the lines of orange sauce, and the popcorn is the pile of popcorn shrimp with the sushi underneath.

I have a gluten allergy and they are always so patient answering my questions. I always get the salmon sunshine with no eel sauce and it is delicious! Love the collar yellow tail with rice. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Very good, ginger and sashimi. Looked so good and got a few bites in before I remembered to take a few pictures. Expect to sit for a little. They seem to be down a server, but the food and prices were worth the wait. So take a seat and enjoy a creamy melon soda with some rock and roll.

I probably order food from Toyo weekly. It’s a great spot, hands down! I always get the Salmon Killer roll. I’m not a fan of crab meat or tuna in my sushi, so the salmon killer is perfect as it’s topped with salmon, and it also has salmon inside the sushi.I also ordered plain edamame. I’ve also tried the spicy edamame, but I feel sometimes it’s too spicy to enjoy, and it’s also drowned in a lot of sauce, so pick your choice!My partner always gets the bento three-box combo in which you can choose three different options of your choice of sushi, sashimi, or meat. He got two sides of spicy tuna sushi and chicken teriyaki. It’s also terrific!I always recommend this place!!

I’m visiting from Minneapolis, and it’s hard to find sushi like this in the Midwest! The sashimi was soft and buttery - it melted in my mouth. The spicy tuna roll was perfectly spicy and so flavorful. It was so obvious that the fish was super fresh. Would definitely get sushi from Toyo again!

Closest place for a quick poki bowl. A bit over priced for the toppings that you get; compared to poki one n half. BUT everything is very fresh and tasty ( I try to go when the Chef Geo is there- think thats his name) . Give it a shot if youre around the area.Photo of the poki bowl made by Geo.

SO WORTH! I cannot believe I never reviewed this place! If youre in the mood for some AFFORDABLE, BOMB sushi, this is your place. The got a range of offerings from sushi to bentos, even if you dont even raw fish! Their fish is pretty fresh for the price you pay. Their rice to fish ratio is fantastic. This place isnt your Sugarfish but if youre in the mood for a good roll then youre in good hands I suggest ordering ahead, The staff was very friendly.

I live in downtown Anaheim... This is the only place I go for Sushi around here. Its better than downtown Fullerton or Packing house area... Overall taste, price, variety of menu, service all good. Location of the restaurant is a little hidden, but regardless people who know, they know!

Horrible service, food was still not ready after an hr of its estimated pick up time. They did not care that people were not getting there orders timely and acted put out if I asked them why the wait. Im from Hawaii and know sushi. It does not take over an hr to cook some fish, ridiculous. If you actually have a schedule or care about getting your food when they say theyll have it ready DO NOT EAT HERE.

Great rolls! No kids menu so we ended up splitting some larger meals but they were accommodating. The Hot Hot and Angel rolls were both very good. The dining area was clean but rather bland with no decor but the ingredients were fresh and they made the rolls in front of you do you can see the prep area is clean.

The food is fresh and good for a reasonable price. They provided all items needed for takeout (chopsticks, forks, soy sauce, napkins etc...) without asking. My order was ready pretty quickly and its clean. They take your order from the door or you can order ahead.

I came with my wife and baby during Happy Hour. I would agree with other reviews that said the portions were large -- compared to other places, pretty good sized plates. The atmosphere was also more relaxed and casual, as sushi places go. The staff was also super nice. We enjoyed it a lot, and will likely be back.

My friends and I stopped by here for a quick lunch before heading out of town. The sushi we ordered came out quickly, even with there being 3 other tables that came in at the same time. Lots of variety on types of sushi, for both people that like cooked rolls and completely raw ones. Each of the sushi rolls we ordered were so full of flavor and were filling! It only really took 1 specialty roll each to fill our stomachs. This is a nice option for someone who might work close by and can take a quick lunch. There were even some people who came in for take-out, so that would be a good option too. Definitely wish there was a place like this nearby where I live!

Supermarket quality fish. At best.Chose this restaurant based on the 5-star rating by 133 Yelpers. Very misleading.The young couple next to us were returning customers, and we couldnt understand why anyone would choose to come back - especially over places with far higher quality fish.

The food was great! I really enjoyed the sushi and bento box. The miso, and salads were very tasty! The signage is poor outside so you will drive right past it if your not looking for it. Also loses a star because I like having Kirin or Singh Ha with my meal.Still over all good. They can get overwhelmed with customers and your wait may be long. Try it at lunch.

I spent over $200 in 1 wk here! Went there 2 nights in a row, 1st night was fine & the 2nd night the waitress came to take my order, I asked for a green tea & she walked away... I then saw her taking a to-go order & walked up to her and asked why she came to take my order and then walked away to take a to-go order... She then said oh Im so sorry what would you like? I said if yer to-go orders were more important then take their orders & then walked out... This is how you treat someone who has spent over $200 in the last 2 wks?! 3 item bento for 12 bucks is a huge bargin. Also do yourself a favor and get the crispy rice special to share as an appetizer, you will not be dissappointed. This is a very small non-chain sushi restaurant that has fantastic sushi. Everytime I travel to Anaheim I seek out this restaurant and go there. Their Sushi is always fresh and delicious the restaurant itself is on the small side with only about 10 to 15 tables available.
