Always a great experience.Service is great, staff is knowledgeable, and faces are always friendly.Looking for Sharkie is a necessity for small children and helps keep them busy while you shop, which is awesome, and a lil lollipop incentive if you find him surely doesnt hurt!!I love shopping at this store not only for the great options at great prices but also for the experience of a store that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer 💛

Normally I have a great experience here. Ive never had an issue with staff. They are the best except for SEAN at check out. He was very rude. He had me bag all the groceries. Handed me the bags and told me to start. Then after he finished ringing up food, he sat there and watched me, while I was fumbling trying to bag my own groceries. I asked when they started having customers bag. He said they didnt. Then he gave me the receipt and cash and pushed the cart away from his station. I mean push in a non friendly way. He was over the top RUDE! I spoke with the manager but he said there was nothing he could do since they dont control their employees. Sorry.

I always find treasures at TJs. I have my list & plenty of bags going in. For some reason, all my bags are full coming out! They have unique items & represent many different cultural cuisines. Shopping at Trader Joes is a pleasant chore. Its more like an adventure! The staff are friendly & give good cooking ideas for some of the items. Sometimes they say ooh this is so good. I add blah blah blah! Then I go home & try it!!

Perfectly fine trader Joes. Its maybe slightly above average in size, but the parking lot isnt, so you might have to walk a bit to other parts of the shopping center. Also theres no express lane at checkout, which is kind of annoying if you only have a few items

It makes me happy just being inside a Trader Joes. I always end up walking out with something new and excited to try at home. I like cooking because of Trader Joes. Staff is always helpful and seem happy to be there. Their season selection can be frustrating when I find something I like but cant buy year round, but it only makes me appreciate and value it more when its in season.

I absolutely LOVE shopping at our local Trader Joe’s. The staff is ALWAYS super welcoming and friendly—they even notice when my kids come less frequently.I give them four ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ only because they often have produce that has gone bad. If they had a better system of providing products that sell fast versus overbuying that results in so much waste, they would be perfect.I’m sure it’s a science that most grocery outlets grapple with so I plan on continuing my shopping rituals which always start with TJs 😚

Large store with ample yet full parking lot. Getting here is a bit of work as there is always lots of traffic on nearby streets. But store itself is calm and has wide isles which is always a plus!

Most of my go-to items are at Trader Joes so Im so happy to have one within a short driving distance from home. this store is well stocked and I always find what I need. This one is clean and plenty of room for social distancing. Checkout is strict where you have to stand behind the cashier while they ring up your items. Be prepared to bag your items outside on the table.

This was my first time visiting Trader Joes. Initially I avoided it because of the long line (review written during COVID) but the line moves fast and I didnt have to wait too long. Theyre doing a good job of promoting safety, all the employees were friendly, and the frozen meals here cant be beat! Also the Greek yogurt kale dip is delicious, I highly recommend it.

I usually shop at the Trader Joes on Front St bc its closer to home, but shopped here today bc I was in the area. Its a late Saturday morning Labor Day weekend and the heat is rising. The line is moving steadily. As I waited I was SO pleasantly surprised when a crew member came out with a shopping cart filled with bottled water and offered to the customers waiting in line in this warmer than usual temperature. That alone showed your consideration for your customers. THANK YOU TRADER JOES!!! The shelves were stocked and I can see crew members continuously replenish the goods. The store was clean and the checkout line was fast and efficient. I also appreciate that Trader Joes isnt charging customers for grocery bags at this time while many other stores are. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!!

Trader Joes is always my first stop for the weekly family grocery run. Very good selection of inexpensive, high-quality packaged foods, wine, and frozen food. The produce section is good (but not extensive), and its by far the best store for snacks (healthy, decadent, and everything in between). Very good selection of cheeses as well. Weve been seeing a lot of the same staff there for years, and they are always friendly and helpful, and seem to really enjoy working there. Highly recommend it!

I really like this Trader Joes. Definitely less crazy than the one off Front street. They pack a lot into a small space without it feeling too crowded. Plus, there are some nice stores and good restaurants packed into this shopping center, so its a great location.I love their sample stand, and several of their recipes tried there are now in our regular rotation at home.The checkers are all friendly and generous with the stickers when you have kids, which is sweet. Kids can also pick out a treat from a bin near the door.There have been a couple times we got home and realized the produce wasnt fresh, and each time they immediately apologized and either issued a refund (even without receipt) or replaced it.

If I have to explain why I love this place, you either havent been there, or you think its some version of Whole Paycheck... I mean Foods.Great combination of staples (from breakfast cereal to produce) with a great assortment of specialty items, wine, beer, liquor, heat-eat-party bites and pretty much everything you need for get togethers, and staples for the week.Quality of the products is consistent, and the pricing isnt a wallet killer. Staff are almost always friendly, helpful, and willing to give you their take on the items being sold.One of the few regular shopping chores I dont dread!

Its a sad day when I have to give my favorite store one star. They have made it impossible for anyone with a normal life to shop there. I would love to go but I dont have hours to stand in line. I lost all respect. I understand and believe firmly in social distancing and everything we need to do. My favorite Grocery store in Santa Cruz. They always have full shelves, they are super busy all the time and someone is always stocking the produce AM or PM! Ive never waited in line more than a few min.-even on a holiday! Love this store. Great prices, fantastically good food. I love the new Asian peanut salad dressing. Among my personal favorites are the unsalted corn chips, Salsa Especial, and the unsalted roasted almonds. Dont forget the avocados which are usually low priced and high quality.You can get organic fruit, veggies and meats. Try the multigrain sourdough bread. Talk about delicious! Oh and one more thing. The Greek Yogurt is the most authentic thing outside of Greece!

The Capitola store I find is one of the best if the many stores I have visited across the country where TJ’s resides. Although the Capitola store is pretty small, I have just discovered two outstanding products: Rosemary Ham sliced - delicious, mild, and very flavorful. Never has it anywhere before and it is delicious. Mini breakfast brie - bought one for a party and it was so delicious I went back and bought three more for myself and friends. Love trader Joes...So many interesting new things to try and many become favorites of mine that I cant get anywhere else. And I love the return policy… if I dont like something I can return it come and no questions asked, Which makes me even more willing to try new things. They have a great assortment of cheeses .Flowers are so reasonably priced, So it is my go to place to get flowers for my home. The frozen food section is amazing. My most recent personal favorite is the kung pao style tempura cauliflower . Yummy! I also appreciate that they have a daily sample of something if prepared and provide the recipe, and right nearby are all the supplies you would need to make it . The condiments section is the best you can find. Traders also has a large organic produce availability. I am also a big fan of the nuts section common and often bring home bags of nuts to enjoy at reasonable prices. I just wish they had a branch in Scotts Valley because I live in Felton it will be still be nice to have one nearby!
