Trader Joes in Costa Mesa

My favorite favorite Trader Joe’s in Orange County located off of 17th street and superior in Costa Mesa. This location has the nicest staff. They have a great selection and fully stocked shelves. They have a great flower selection. I run into all my friends kids moms here all the time because it’s the best Trader Joe’s!

We love Traders! This one in Costa Mesa was especially friendly and well stocked.

Many products (especially vegetables) are cheaper than other grocery stores & products are fresh and safe. Two stars are taken because cashiers are not friendly every time I go. I don’t know if I just don’t have luck, but last time when I went there, the cashier didn’t say a word and literally ‘threw’ the product each time he scanned, which made me worried the products might get damaged. I also had to put all the products in the bag by myself.

Non over the top friendly location. But whatever the store is great.. products and had what I needed. The low star rating is for the lack of happiness and niceness from the workers. Usually TJ is a bit more over the top on niceness and conversation because it’s part of what they HAVE to do- but this location is just different vibe. I get it.. it work so I really don’t want to hit lower than a 3. Thanks

Excellent products, customer service and clean bathrooms just like almost every single other Trader Joes Ive been to. Great free coffee and lemonade samples. They also carry a wonderful assortment of flowers, plants, beers,wines and liquors. I would like to see more of an assortment of vegan fare such as vegan cheeses and meats. An Organic wine section would be nice too. Some Items that Sprouts carries that Id like to see TJS carry are: seitan, natures balance butter (or any other healthy vegan butter) and aluminum foil.

Great location. Super size! Lots of variety and well stocked.

This is one of the larger TJs Ive been to, which means the selection is large. However, the layout is a bit confusing. Most other locations have the animal products near the home goods like paper towels. This one has them across the store from each other, which makes them difficult to locate.

Services always great. People in there are very polite and have a good knowledge of their inventory. For such a small store it has a good variety. The people shopping there seem to be a slightly upper crust and more affluent set, but they know a good deal because the food really doesnt cost anymore. If you know where to look and what to look for, you can really find some great deals.

Very wonderful Trader Joes location. Restrooms are nice, decent amount of parking, very large aisles with lots of merchandise. During non-COVID times this location actually used to do wine tasting demonstrations, never got to go to one, but was impressed that it was offered. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking, entrance, aisles, restrooms, and counter are all accessible.

Very good products, fruits and vegetables are very fresh. I love this store. I recommend this place.
