Trader Joes in Brentwood

A Mixed Experience at Trader JoesI visited my local Trader Joes approximately two weeks ago, and it has always been a store I enjoy shopping at due to the wide variety of products they offer and their consistently great customer service. However, on my most recent visit, there was an encounter that left me with mixed feelings.The majority of my shopping experience was as pleasant as ever. The store was well-stocked, and I had no trouble finding the products I needed. The staff was courteous and helpful as always, until I reached the checkout counter.The cashier, a woman who appeared to be over 50 years old, engaged in a friendly small talk with me. During our conversation, I mentioned that I had recently started trying some new products from Trader Joes. To my surprise, she replied that she had never tried them herself. This struck me as unusual, but it wasnt necessarily a problem.What left me feeling uncomfortable, however, was her departure greeting. After I had paid for my groceries, she wished me a good night. This was particularly odd as it was mid-afternoon, and the sun was still shining brightly. I couldnt help but ask her why she was bidding me good night in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, my question was met with silence, and she immediately turned her attention to the next customer, seemingly ignoring me.I was left with the distinct impression that she might have been making fun of my accent. It was a disappointing and somewhat disconcerting end to an otherwise enjoyable shopping trip at Trader Joes.In conclusion, my experience at Trader Joes has generally been positive, and I appreciate their product variety and customer service. Nevertheless, this recent encounter with the cashier, while not a major issue, left me feeling somewhat uneasy and raises questions about the consistency of service at this particular store.

I love the products but I have a hard time getting them. I use a walker but I can walk from most places in the parking lot near the store. Always packed! My disabled permit does not help since Marshall’s reopened. After several trips around the first 3-4 aisles finding nothing, with cars waiting for every leaving customer. I thought I had a handicapped spot but a kid in a pickup truck grabbed it :(. I gave up.

Nice traders joes, slightly larger than most. Good selection of food/wine.The main reason I stop is that they have Lots of fresh flowers! They are always uber-fresh. I always pick up some when I am in there and they have a huge selection of both bouquets and (my fav) bunches of one kind of flower--this way you can mix and match your favorites and make your own bouquet.Only downside is the parking situation. There are tons of little shops and food places all around trader joes and a very small parking lot.

Easy parking and shopping on a weekday. Very helpful in finding something. The checkers were friendly and efficient. Recommend you shop there often.

Usually too crowded for me and the frozen food have frost bite, so Im concerned about freshness. I also dont buy individual servings that often, so I dont find anything else super special there that I need.

I always find some good stuff when I come here. Kind of busy when I went in but they were on top of getting the lines down. Nice selection to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff.

I love a few of the items here, best price on reeds ginger ale, and montucky beer, but for a privately owned company, it feels very corporate now. I have a hard time getting anything but canned answers whenever I ask about anything. Ill keep coming back to get my dark chocolate raspberry wafers. #raidermoes

I was able to get my Pita bread 🍞.Only Trader Joes had it. YES!!!

My go to grocery shop. Great organic options at affordable rates compared to Safeway and Sprouts. Love the wine options here.Awesome as always. I shop here once every week and I love it.

This is one of my favorite places to shop! It is one of the few stores where you can consistently find organic potatoes. The wine guy a recently told me that any of the wines from Italy, Spain or France are also organic. If you have a problem with an item you purchse they are great about returns.
