Trader Joes in Brea

I came from out of town with some friends for my bachelorette trip which of course also meant a mandatory trip to Trader Joes. We chatted with Rafael and Natalie while they cashed us out, and when they found out the reason for our trip they brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers! It was such a kind gesture and the bouquet even happened to include my favourite colour. Thank you Rafael and Natalie for such a great and memorable start to our trip! :)

Always good service, friendly staffs who help you look for items that are missing or moved elsewhere, try quickly open another lane to check out customers with minimal waiting. They assist to load in the car without asking. This certainly is better than regular grocery store or Costco. Better products at nominal prices and good quality products than volume junk. I love searching through websites for new items for season to try.

Im so happy that there are many different Korean foods. But I was sad that all the kimbap was sold out 😭

Trader joe’s has been my fun and happy go to place. No complaints shopping at TJs for the past 20 plus years. My usual TJs were in beach cities in southbay and their incredible friendly customer service and vibe always made me feel comfortable to stop by a few times a week.I’ve come to this particular TJs for the past two months and i’ve never left the store with pleasant feelings which is rare.Staff are not attentive. They do not even bother greet customers. Even after eye contacts made. They don’t smile at customers unlike other TJs. Their bagging skills are below average and throwing fruit bags are the worst.Especially the cashier “V, Davina” who attended me this afternoon was rude and unprofessional. She was chatty with a customer before me but then when I said Hi to her in my turn she didn’t even respond. She started throwing my apple bags (4 of them along with avocado bag) on the conveyor and I was already getting a little uncomfortable with that. She then asked me a few things and even the tone of her voice and facial expressions were unpleasant for customer would mistake that she hates working at TJs or she does not like to attend the customer. The whole time she was scanning and bagging my items she just seemed careless. Hard to believe that quite a lot of staff at this location have given me that impression.The highlight is She didn’t even realize that she dropped an item off the conveyor until she was done with her job and didn’t even say sorry.I am writing this review in the parking lot hoping staff will be trained better on a regular basis for better customer service.Never happened in my 20plus years with TJs but this store. I will try other location.Very disappointing experience..This location doesn’t deserve 4.7 compared to other locations.

The staff here is always friendly. The store is always clean & organized. If the check stand is starting to get busy, they are always on it to open more registers. It makes a quick errand go really fast.

Great store with unusual or hard to find items. My favorite are the rice filled grape leaves. Large adult beverage section, lots of flowers, and friendly, helpful staff.

I alway buy roses from Trader Joe because they are last longer than other flower shops. However I bought a dozen yellow roses. They have been treated and made it looked fresh. I found the fact after I gave to my friend. It’s so embarrassing.

I love to go there for fresh flowers, cheese and wine. The best market for organic stuff that is affordable.
