Trader Joes is definitely my shopping paradise. I shop at Trader Joes because of the selection of food and now the prices since inflation is creating a challenge. The Millbrae location has plenty of parking and is located across from Safeway. The Millbrae location is a few blocks from highway 101 and 280. Parking is sometimes a challenge so I use the parking lot across the street near Safeway.

Nice location within the shopping center.This store is on the smaller side but it still has lots of options for produce, flora, prepared meals/ foods, snacks, and other beauty and household itemsThe cashier I had was very helpful and pleasant. I always admired how clean and well stocked this location is for Trader JoesLocated in the shopping center, theres typically always plenty of parking.Compared to other grocery chains, the staff here seem to be happier and enjoy their work which shows when they talk with customers like myself.I love the free samples of coffee and other treats that they give out as it functions both as a snack and sometimes a discovery of a cool new treat to stock my pantry.I like to come here for the high quality organic produce and the cheap eggs but I usually leave with a cart full of snacks on top of that. To be fair, Its my own fault for having hungry eyes walking through the aisles.

I love Trader Joe’s for the convenience, selection and the price. Hillsdale is my favorite location because it is very large, San Carlos being my second favorite. I’m not crazy about the Grant street location as they sometimes play heavy metalmetal music very loudly.

I have been frequenting this store more often than the one that is actually closer to my house. Although this store seems like its a bit smaller than the one by my house, I like coming here because of the parking lot that is available across the street.The store usually has everything I need so I dont mind coming here. Staff is super friendly and helpful I have never had to wait in a long line at the store because stuff is always inviting you to join their line if you are ready to check out.

This is a big Trader Joes. Parking is usually easy. This is a large strip mall type shopping center with a Safeway, Walgreen, restaurants, etc.Staff are friendly and helpful - yes, I know - they usually are in TJs! But its always good to mention.This TJs has an especially large selection of flowers and plants.If you use a mobility aid, aisles are wide enough to accommodate. Entrance is a little tight but okay.

I always go there to buy salads and snacks, this time I went there while I was eating in my car I found a hair inside the salad, I went back immediately I told one of the guys upfront and I believe he’s one of the managers what happen with me and he said, do you wanna exchange it? I told him no because I don’t feel eating here anymore. He didn’t even bother to offer me anything he could’ve said we can give you another salad for free or we can give you a $10 coupon or $5. I don’t need nothing from no one but that’s what customer service all about?! never going back there again.

This Trader Joe is not very big but carries a good range of fresh produce and other goods. It is pretty busy most of the times and sometimes the produce can run low. They often have samples of coffee and other tasty treats to give out. Always have plenty of parking space close by.

That’s my fav location so far. I like convenient parking first, and that it has other stores around. Bear in mind some things are seasonal like pastry dough. Also, they stopped selling my fav biscotti with cranberries replacing them by banana biscotti which are not bad, but were good for one try, also stoped selling loose tea(((. No milk chocolate Laceys . What is happening?Always on my shopping list: frozen naan, pelmeni (discontinued), bacon, org chicken, all the leafy things. Used to buy ice cream, but too much sugar for me now, but ice cream is also the best, so treat myself once in a while) during COVID-19 pretty much is my number 1 place to go out), while I can postpone Safeway, Costco. I moved to the Bay Area 4 years ago and this was the first Trader Joe’s I encountered. I frequent the Trader Joes in Daly City. After coming here, I dont want to go back to that one. This location is much more spacious (makes you feel much more comfortable). Very friendly staff and great safety standards. As of the date of this review (07/14/2020) you can use your own reusable bags, and theirs are no longer free.

This store is great! My stepdad was 90 and he was able to walk all aisles and shop around. They also keep the restrooms clean as best as they can and shelves stocked with fresh food.I like the way they handle shopping during a pandemic. It’s good to see them take care of their workers.They have plants, flowers, meats, produce, hygiene products, coffee samples (!!!), and a ton of OG snack options. I love this store!

Went in to grab one item 2 registers were opened but both cashiers felled to acknowledge me and motion me to check me out. I had to walk towards them not to mention the cashier literally put my $20 in the up in the air to see if it was counterfeit. I was with my 10 year old son and I felt so embarrassed. Staff was very friendly and there are always enough cashiers for the number of people in the store. There are always several lines and they are all necessary because this trader joes is always full! Ive found that the store is so small that certain items are harder to find due to being in rather compact spaces, but the staff is knowledgeable and approachable when you need to find something specific. Items are certainly on the more expensive side, as the same vegetables are cheaper at the local produce store just down the street, but everything is fresh (for the most part, last time I went their avocados were not ripe!) and long-lasting!

It is a good place, one of my favorites, but do NOT go there on a Sunday night. There is nothing left. Throughout the whole weekend it is crowded. There is Safeway right across the street from Trader Joes, but it is not much better at this time. The prices are about the same, but Trader Joes sometimes has lower or higher prices, compared to Safeway. There is, however, interesting things that are there. There are also samples!!

Pandemic shopping on a Saturday morning. 6 ft apart and you are greeted at the front of store with optional hand sanitizer. Limited amount of people in the store which make less stress to shop. Love being a customer and would love it more if their disabled parking spots weren’t positioned 3 blocks away. With the amount of tax dollars paid to the city of Millbrae they have the power to advocate better accessibility for its patrons. Tough to shop in this store if you have a mobility device and, watch out for restocking of shelves by staff. Carts boxes and employees whizzing by scary if your physically challenged I feel like I’m always dodging some box or cart passing by or a customer in training which is not supervised. I feel scared that one day I’ll get hit by an employee and their restocking cart, be a whole lot more pleasant if restocking was done in sections rather than in every aisle so those challenged with mobility had better and safer access.Ableism is blatant in this store and little regard is extended to the disabled!I’m not sure how able bodied navigate?

First time in my life I had a bad experience with a sales person in this store! My daughter was in the cart and she(sales person, old white lady) walked to me saying that she can’t be in here, it’s not like I left her by herself in there I was next to her. First time I tried to ignore her and continued shopping peacefully. She came again saying that I need to remove her and put in the seat, my toddler very active and doesn’t like to be buckled up so I picked her up and walked away!!! The produce and salads are fresh and I love that you have Ezekiel bread that isnt frozen (other stores freeze it straight away or dont even carry it) and always have it in stock. Besides staffs are friendly and clean fresh good grocery shopping, I thought to share some good findings I got at this trader Joe :-) the botanical bounty hand foam soap has pleasant smell and it’s very convinient. The rose oil works help soften skin. The hair mask is very rich and it works better than many other counter expensive brands. The add sum probiotic is our family favorite, taste delicious and high quality.Now Im just waiting for the cotton candy grapes to be back ;)

This market ROCKS. seriously, its fabulous (as nearly everyone else has noted). I learned about (and tasted) so many interesting west coast apple crops, saw the reddest tomatoes and biggest green onions/scallions, sampled small/large/red/green grapes, enjoyed fresh pastries, and experienced the famous blue bottle coffee. And all the while, I was surrounded by the most gorgeous views of the water, bay bridge and sailboats.

Whats not to love about Trader Joes? This one is pretty great and within walking distance of Rainbow as well. The parking lot, however, (shared with Bed Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom Rack and a few others) is a fricken nightmare. If you park on the street instead, do not leave anything in your car.

Some new staff not as friendly like it used to be here...You run out of house blend quite often and your drinking straw have gotten too skinny and small for large iced teas...Sometimes the bathroom is dirty and it smells old..You need better air fresheners and ventilation...I have been coming here for 6 yrs as a regular and the old staff was much friendlier and you need larger straws like you used to have...And outside by benches needs to be cleaned more and stains washed occasionally....

I love their organic milk, the French Village yogurt, their frozen veg gyozas (dumplings/momos), their green salsa Verde, their eggplant and pepper spread, their medium roast ground coffee, their coffee blast ice cream, their frozen Indian meals (paneer tikka & spinach rice, palak paneer, aloo kathi chaat, masala burgers) are all heavenly. I love their stuff, its fresh and always value for money.

We went to this Trader Joes store when visiting the San Francisco area recently. While we ordinarily like Trader Joes, this time it was extra special because of our encounter with one of the staff, Sir Malcolm. Malcolm is an extraordinary raconteur and told us a number of enjoyable stories about his past experiences. I would have paid to hear him talk more, but we had to catch a plane.
