Tramonti in Santa Cruz

Loved coming here, the weather was beautiful and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun in their shaded patio! The food was delicious, I ordered the gnocchi and cleared my plate!I believe it was the owner who came and asked us about our meal, he was very passionate in the way he talked about the food which made coming here lovely.The service was pretty slow once we ordered dessert, took a while to get it but I loved it! I ordered the Pannacotta, the strawberry cooli they add really tied the whole thing together.Would 100% recommend coming here, I want to try their Pesto next time!

I was really impressed by quality of the food and the level of service. The menu offered a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, all of which we ordered were prepared to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the stagioni pizza and the gnocchi, both of which were packed with flavor. The gnocchi was light and fluffy with a rich tomato sauce. The wine list was also top-notch, offering a great selection of Italian wines to complement the food. The highlight of the meal was the chocolate mousse, which was creamy and decadent with the perfect balance of sweetness. The wait staff was being friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend to have a reservation.

Really great! Loved our time. Awesome wine and super friendly staff. Food was tasty but their menu was not the same as what they were able to make at the time so we had to do a lot of back and forth.

We tried several things here including spaghetti and soup, very delicious. We also tried pizza, “meat monster”, it was so great! Guess it was authentic Italian pizza, with very thin slices, juicy ground meats and pepperoni. I would like to come back to eat pizza. Never tasted like this great before! The service was also nice and considerate.

We randomly walked into this place with no expectations while on our visit to UCSC! We had a great time. The service was exceptional! They customized almost all dishes to our liking and gave us recommendations too. There is both indoor and outdoor seating . There are games like Pac-Man indoor for fun! Will visit again when I am in the area..

This spot is a true gem. The food is delicious and tastes so fresh.We went on a Friday evening without a reservation, but they kindly sat us still. However, I do recommend a reservation to others. We didn’t realize how busy it would be. The servers were all so polite.We tried the Margherita pizza, gnocchi tricolore, and short-rib ravioli. All of them were excellent, but our absolute favorite was the gnocchi. Mmm. For dessert, the chocolate lava cake and pistachio ricotta cheesecake. Loved both.I spent 2 weeks in Italy recently, and Tramonti made me feel like I was back there again. It’s so authentic. Grazie!

Italian food anyone? Well, if you’re looking for some flavor, Tramonti in the heart of Seabright is calling your name!What a great spot for your next dinner date. They have a cute outdoor seating area with heaters and the inside is juts as charming. Excellent service all the way round!Tonight, I tried a few different things and everything was full of flavor and the freshness of the local organic ingredients they use and also the imported Italian deliciousness. I felt like I was back in Italy dining.For starters, the Tagliere di Salumi & Formaggi, the meat and cheese board, had perfectly, thinly sliced meats and the cheese paired with it was perfect. The Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese with egg noodles and meat sauce was delish! The short rib tortellini was exceptional.Last but not least, don’t forget about the dessert menu. The torta della nonna had this amazing lemon flavor, so smooth and delicious. Paired with coffee was the perfect ending to a great evening full of the flavors of Italy right here in the heart of Seabright.I definitely recommend this place, but make sure you make a reservation so you won’t be disappointed! The food and the service is five plus stars!

Came here for birthday celebrations. We had mushroom pasta, Margarita Pizza, Santa Croce salad etc. They have a nice patio outside and it’s good to sit out to enjoy the food. I just felt service could have been lil better as the server was not proactive in serving and asking for food/water.Note: they do charge if you have cake that you want them to serve.

First time going to downtown Santa Cruz and this gem was a solid first choice. Great wine, beer and cocktail selection. And the food is superior in terms of taste, presentation and variety. Atmosphere was quaint but hip and the crowd ranged all age levels so that shows everyone loves the food and drink here! Highly recommend to call ahead on weekends and dinner time because it does get packed!
