Although the generous portion of celery slightly overpowered the subtle lotus taste, it still made for an enjoyable start to our meal.The restaurants attention to customer satisfaction was particularly impressive. Upon expressing my thoughts about the celery to our attentive server, they graciously prepared a take-away version of the lotus root salad, minus the celery. This gesture allowed me to truly appreciate the essence of the lotus root and its unique flavor - a touch I found to be both considerate and responsive.The filet mignon shaking beef was another highlight. While it diverged a bit from traditional preparations due to the inclusion of gravy, this twist only added to its appeal. The tender, flavorful beef paired wonderfully with the tomato rice, offering a comforting and hearty main course that left us fully satisfied.Overall, our visit to Tramys was an unforgettable experience that balanced traditional cuisine with innovative twists. Came in for a late lunch, it was empty. Lots of tables, its clean, we were greeted upon entering & host let us sit anywhere. We sat at a table with a TV. They were playing sports, girls softball, but then they switched it to what we wanted (East coast semis) Celtics vs 76ers. We ordered fresh oj, spring rolls, chicken salad & chicken porridge (small & it couldve fed both of us). All the food was good, chicken salad was really good, but I think more Cabbage would make it better. The porridge was thick and a lil mushy, but it was good in flavor. Will have to try other items next time. They have pad thai, pho and entrees. Well be back.

Cozy atmosphere with delicious Vietnamese food! I came here for the first time with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our dishes. My most favorite were grilled pork with rice, the cream cheese wonton, and their homemade soy milk. Their staffs are nice and responsive to guests’ requests. The way seats and tables here are organized makes his place look great for both friend group and dating. I’m gonna coming back here for sure.

I was feeling nostalgic and was missing my Asian friends so much on Valrntines day. I went to this place to feel my beloved friends thru food and remember the great times spent together in SoCal. My vegetarian soup was fantastic. The portion was huge, and thought about that friend that can finish your plate when your stomach is full. I felt the laughter and great time spent with my friends. The chrisantemus tea, oh my! The warmth of the tea combined with its gentle sweetness comforted my heart. The beautiful biodegradable cup and the nature decorated cupholder made me feel like I was in direct connection with mother nature. This place comforted my soul with delicious food and drinks. I really recommend this place.PS- There was a party of 10 next to my table. The high vibration of love, friendship and acceptance emanating from that table made the experience 1000x better.

My friend and I recently stumbled upon Tramys when looking to try a new place for Pho and Fresh Spring Rolls. OMG this place is delicious. We have since added the BS1. Mongolian Beef with Jasmine Rice and the R7. Grilled Teriyaki Chicken to our order. We have yet to be able to visit in person and have only ordered delivery. But if it tastes this good delivered just imagine how good it is dining in?! Proportions are great, delivery is quick, food is still hot and fresh like it was just delivered to the table. Tramys is a hidden gem that everyone must try. 5 stars

Best dishes: Basil Tofu with Rice, Spring Rolls (they can make them vegetarian or with shrimp/chicken)Ok: Combination Fried Rice (they allow substitution with the mean, e.g., no squid)Not that great: Chow Mien (the thin noodle they use are not really my favorite)I love to support local restaurants so I wanted to give this a try. They accidentally messed up on my order so they redid it the next day and gave me an extra tea for my inconvenience, which was very nice service!

I was looking forward to a nice soups then I was disappointed that it took too long to get our order and there was not a lot of people in the restaurant The server was just walking around waited for 15 to 20 minutes I dont know if Ill go back

The egg roll was both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth good. The star of the show for sure.The rau ma (pennywort drink) was memorable and totally worth it. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and minty tasting.The noodles were fresh and well-made.. one of those subtle things where you know this is real food made by a chef that cares.The pork was merely passable - okay flavor but a little tough.Overall a solid meal and a total hidden gem. If you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop by.

Today, I went to Nguyen Vu Restaurant with a friend, surprised there was a new dish with red cabbage, chicken and basil. Tastefully flavored, soft chicken, fatty peanuts, crunchy cabbage and more. I could not wait to be more hungry...I love it. Maybe Ill come back soon

Best Pho in the east bay. I just discovered this gem a few months back. Now whenever I am in the neighborhood it’s a must stop. The beef is so tender and the noodles are made fresh daily - you can taste it. Couldn’t recommend any higher. Please give it a try.
