Went with the kids and the dog and had a great lunch. The patio is perfect for dogs and the kids had room to roam around. The nachos were our favorite. Enchiladas were great if you like spice! Friendly folks working here.

We loved this place so much that we ended up eating here three times on our weekend trip to San Diego! We were so happy to find such delicious, nutritious food in such a fun environment. This place is heaven to all vegetarian and vegan folks. They got an incredibly wide variety of all kind of food. The staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions. I need to come back and try a lot more of all that variety. Plus the view from the rooftop is spicing up the whole atmosphere.

This hidden gem has amazing food and beverages. Our waitress, Ashley was really nice and helped us with some great recommendations from the menu. We had the enchiladas and nachos, which were both AMAZING! This is my first time trying this type of food and it was SO good.

The space and food were AMAZING!!! I only wish it wasnt raining so we could have sat outside. Cant wait to come back and try lunch... Mmmmmmm! A must for anyone wanting wholesome food that is thoughtfully prepared. The shop adjacent to the restaurant is a MUST!!! All the magical treasures and gifts, PLUS the owners/staff are genuine, welcoming, and putting out all the good vibes.

This is such a cute rooftop cafe. There’s an outdoor yoga deck and a few tables to sit and enjoy your food. They have an extensive menu with coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls, entrees, and desserts. I came for breakfast on Saturday morning and there was an aerial yoga class going on in the terrace. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. I got the traditional açaí bowl, which comes topped with granola, banana, blueberry and strawberry. The bowl is a decently large size, which was expected for the price ($14.50) and the açaí was very refreshing, with a lovely texture.

Fantastic spot with roof terrace restaurant and nice community (events). Food is organic, plant-based and gluten-free!! :) That being said, while the food is really good, theres still room for improvement in terms of taste. They host several events, including a monthly full moon party event that is pretty interesting and unique (includes aerobic, fire performances etc. + drum circle dancing + live music).

I’ve tried everything from the food, to yoga classes and events and keep going back. The food is amazing, everything is made in house and there is something for everyone, whether you are vegan or not, you won’t be disappointed. The yoga classes are fun and diverse, whether you are a beginner or looking for a challenge you will find a class here. Trilogy has such built such an amazing environment that whether you go to an even alone or friends you will have a good time. Everyone is welcoming, and the positive energy is unmatched. I tell everyone about this place, definitely worth checking out!

We were visiting LA and we did the drive to San Diego then to La Jolla just to try out Trilogy, which we have been following on IG and always wanted to visit. The establishment did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations - fantastic atmosphere and vibe and absolutely delicious food. Although we’re vegans, this place is definitely for everyone to try - you won’t be disappointed!

The space is amazing. Whether you sit out on the roof deck with the heat lamps or inside…. It has a great casual energy.I’ve tried about ten things on the menu. Some are better than others. All of it is ART. The Enticing Eggplant is ridiculously good. Another favorite are the jackfruit tacos.I love a vegan place that has well balanced dishes with lots of nutrients and flavors.The smoothies are decadent. You will be so happy you get to be human when you order one. The Lust is my favorite with the perfect blend of sweet, cacao, and a touch of spice.The homemade pita and hummus’s are really excellently prepared. Hard to take such a staple and make it something unique… but I feel like they totally have.And I love that they are raising awareness about conservation and reducing waste.

Unbelievably good vegan food in a beautiful rooftop setting. Food is as varied as it is delicious and full of flavor. Taste is balanced ans not over salted like a lot of restaurants. The Vega-Nachos are amazing as is the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos. Ambiance is great and easy to distance. Staff are super friendly.

This is my go to place whenever I am in San Diego! I’ve tried just about everything on their menu, and have never been disappointed. Their Açaí bowls are the best I have had and their tacos are some of my favorites. If you are looking for some delicious, flavorful, and healthy vegan food, and amazing ambiance, you have found the place!

High quality, wholesome vegan food alert!!! Such a cute little vegan Cafe in downtown La Jolla. The eggplant dish is to die for. It was paired with Chinese broccoli and a side of sweet potato. The butternut squash meatball was also very delicious. Unlike the typical sugar filled acai bowl. The acai bowl here was not sugary at all. The bowl was filled with fresh fruits, chia seeds, almonds and other superfood. My only complaint is that the hot dishes were not hot at all. The meatballs were old and the eggplants were luke warm. I understand that they were prepared ahead of time, but Id appreciate if they were heated up thoroughly before serving.

Before I visited this place, never knew salads could be made so interesting and tasty ! A complete vegan cafe on rooftop, with a view to the Pacific ocean..!! Portions are good so no need to worry about that.We ordered Two perfect Tacos- tasted amazing !! The fresh made tortilla was too good. I lived in Colombia for 27 days and had a lot of yummy food, and this place sure took me back to Colombia, I felt at home, great energy was super peaceful!Got the popular tacos and the alcoholic Kombucha 7%. As a celiac, I love finding 100% gluten free restaurants but this was the worst I’ve been to so far. We ordered a salad, burger, and lavender coffee. First the salad was a big disappointment, for $18 I expect the salad to tell a story—this was the saddest salad I have ever seen. A whole bunch of lettuce and really nothing to compliment it and transform it into something worth anything. Then the burger was better but still not outstanding. But the coffee….was the worst thing I ever tasted. I love lavender lattes but I have no idea what this was, it tasted like rubbing alcohol and watered down coffee. I gagged.The part that really rubbed me wrong was the service; we got to the restaurant at noon, then took about 5 minutes to decide what we wanted then waited at the counter for 5 minutes for anyone to help us and by that time we were 10 minutes late for the breakfast menu and we weren’t able to order what we really wanted. That’s just poor customer service.I really want to love this place, because I typically do (like places like this). But really, this establishment was just an awful experience.

Wow this place is amazing! SO MANY plant based/ vegan options! They have a gorgeous rooftop dining area with WiFi and the environment is very peaceful and chill so you can bring your laptop or iPad to get some work done or just relax. The food is incredible - colorful, vibrant, wholesome but not in any way short on flavor! Love all the options and tasty combinations. Line was long to order inside but food was made and served super quickly! The rooftop is dog friendly too. They also have a cute shop with so many essentials for every yogi or spiritual being. We are on a road trip just driving through and so glad we found this place!

This place is so cool! I would love to come back to do yoga here. Came here for breakfast/brunch and got the Quinrizo con Huevos and it was delicious! The matcha latte was a bit watery, though. I also got a beach cover up from this place that was beautiful!

+ The entire menu is plant-based, soy-free and gluten-free, which is quite rare. There is also a large variety of dishes to try.+ The rooftop setting offers nice views of La Jolla.- The service is poor. A lot of the servers seem nonchalant and disinterested. We always give a tip, but they aren’t appreciated nor deserved.- Its not infrequent that they run out of cutlery, so you have to use disposable utensils, which isnt good enough for the price point.- Since the price increases, its too expensive to dine here. Some main dishes are small/simple and yet they charge nearly $20 per entrée.- You have to serve yourself water and its often lukewarm and tastes weird. Ive seen kids with their hands all over the reusable cups too and people give them to their dogs to drink from, which is obviously very unhygienic. I wish servers would bring fresh, cold water to the tables.- There is a vibe here which can be off-putting. It feels pretentious and yet too informal at the same time.All in all, this place offers a decent vegan menu if you can stomach the prices, but the service and overall dining experience leave a lot to be desired.

I normally do not seek out vegan food, but just the atmosphere of this place will definitely keep me coming back in the future!Located on the third floor, this is a great spot for hanging out with friends, date spot, or meeting new people! We ended up spending our whole time talking to a new person weve never met before!There is a fun little aerial yoga spot where you can sign up ahead of time to participate (although do know that there will be people who will be watching!) There is also a little shop that sells an assortment of yoga health-related items.Now on to the menu! I mostly came here because I wanted to try out the smoothies and they did not disappoint.Two of us got the Serenity (Almond milk, Acai, banana, blueberry, trilogy protein, goji berries) which was delicious! I ended up trying the passion fruit kombucha, which everyone ended up stealing sips of it.We shared the vega-nachos and that was devoured so fast!Never realized that vegan nachos and chili would be so delicious! The seared spring rolls sounded delicious and I will be getting that next time.

This place demonstrates that even vegan dishes can deliver phenomenal flavors and texture. I had the Sunset Tacos and Enchiladas. First, the Sunset Tacos were perfectly balanced and flavorful. The flavor of every component, from the mole handmade tortillas to the cilantro lime sauce, was mouthwatering. The texture of the jackfruit was very tender and delicious. The Enchiladas were also tasty. However, the filling needs more seasoning and the rice was over cooked. Overall, both dishes shined and were impressive.

Quinoa bowl was OK, and the mocha I got was very different: While $7 price tag is not very competitive, it tasted like a very dark chocolate (but not burnt). There is a spiritual shop you can browse on the same rooftop. All in all this is a great place to hangout and eat. Everybody is wearing masks and obeying the rules. Highly recommended.

Fun and hopping place! My husband and I were in La Jolla to visit a friend at Green Hospital, and decided to check out this vegan restaurant for tea and dessert. The restaurant is on the fourth floor, with both indoor and outdoor patio seating that gazes onto a small aerial yoga studio, with classes going. There is also a retail gift shop with all kinds of fun New Age stuff. On the third floor are more yoga studio areas. There were lots of young people here, eating, studying, and just hanging out. Very responsive and kind staff, great tea and dessert. We want to come back for breakfast and try their other meal options, which look great. Everything is vegan and gluten-free, excellent!

I discovered this restaurant when I was in San Diego for vacation last week. I ate all my meals for 4 days there as everything I ordered were very delicious. I wish we had this vegan, gluten free restaurant around our area in Northern California. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant with yoga center and like minded people. I would to move to San Diego just for that reason as it would be great community I would love to join.

This is a healthy vegetarian restaurant which Id normally stay away from as Im a big meat eater but was very pleasantly surprised in the selection and quality of the food! We got the Radical Ravioliand some kind of wrap and both were excellent!! Like surprisingly good for me!!! Also if youre into Yoga or like that vibe this place is for you!! Only difficulty is parking can be hard to find as theyre in the middle of downtown LA Jolla but you can find something and theyre worth the walk. Overall great place! Highly recommend as well definitely be back!!

Located in La Jolla village which is a very premiere spot trilogy sanctuary offers a rooftop deck and a cafe that has sensational nutritional food. The seating is comfortable the people are nice theres yoga going on and theres a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The prices are premium but the quality is hi. There is fairly a unique spot like this that is a rooftop deck where you can look over this very beautiful section uptown. You can enjoy hanging out at length. Everyones nice and really knowledgeable about yoga and nutrition and everything. As a male, I definitely feel that the chocoholic acai bowl is the real acai bowl for me. Its thick and delicious and I just cant seem to stop ordering it. I used to come here long before I was nutritional and now Im really excited to try some of the other things on the menu. I met Tom Bailey here. This is an exquisite place and quite an adventure. It hasnt changed in the time that Ive been coming here. Its just an amazing place. Top recommendation.

So heard about this place from a friend of mine and decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday here. We were totally mesmerized by the ambience. We ordered enchiladas, sunset tacos and decadence mousse. Such a nice cute secret hideout! You have to know about the place or you’d walk by, but Its totally worth it to go upstairs and have a drink or food here! The food is great, they have a ton of super nice vegan and glutenfree options. I was here with my brother and we shared two bowls and had a yummie drink. We sat outside with a nice view over San Diego. The only thing to consider is that the food and drinks are on the expensieve side.

Ordered $50 in food 2 days in a row and i put in all caps UTENSILS AND NAPKINS! and i didnt get any both times. I called and called and called and no one answered. I spent about 15 minutes calling them over and over trying to talk to someone so i dont have to eat mac and cheese with my hands again but no answer. Gotta love their service. charging an arm and a leg for food and dont have less than 30 seconds to talk to their customers👍

Hidden gem is quite literal since you have to get up a few flights of steps to find this place - but its worth the trek! I walked down here from the cove so it was a good 10ish minutes. The staff was really nice and I loved my jackfruit tacos, smoothie and mac and cheese. Id absolutely come back here the next time Im in SD. Every thing is gluten free and vegan which was a huge plus for me :) Theres a lot of great shopping nearby too!

Do not order catering from Trilogy Sanctuary. My partner attempted to because their food is good but they were very slow to respond in general and then completely dropped the ball in the week prior to the event I was trying to get catered. They never sent payment instructions after saying they would and I never heard from them again, despite numerous attempts to follow up. Dont waste your time with them.

You guys need to work on the ventilation inside the cafe. We had to leave because we couldnt breath. Plus many times you run out of the most popular dishes and we have to leave disappointed. Other than that, almost perfect. The Enticing eggplant is the best. Taste amazing, Thank you for that.

A San Diego gem! Enjoy rooftop views in La Jolla and take in the fresh ocean air while delighting in a dose of healthy vegan food! The atmosphere is laid back, the ambiance is excellent, and the food is truly flavorful. Entrees are pricey but if you take into account the entire experience it feels worthwhile. I would suggest this place as more of a sit in and enjoy than a take out and go. Personally I love the sweet potato appetizer for a filling and less expensive meal!

Great tea and good muffin.I was ready go vegan food, but still (vegetable) spaghetti squash, one of the most expensive dishes, was not very tasty. Squash was in paste form, sitting on the plate in bulbs, and the thinly cut version of some other plant should not have been even called spaghetti. It didn’t go well with the paste of squash, and a somewhat tangy sauce did not save it.I know much, much better vegan dishes are possible, and it is a pity I did not taste one in that superb location.Five stars for tea/ambiance, one star for food.

Ive been coming to Trilogy for a decade. Its clear that I love it. However in recent times Ive had to negative experiences with the head of the cooking staff on two separate instances. Its a shame because the place is usually filled with such good vibes, so I would encourage the head honchos of the restaurant to check the egos of their kitchen staff.1) I saw they took the kale avo salad off the menu and was heartbroken. I asked if they could do something similar and the servers asked the kitchen staff in front of me. The man didnt even think about it for one moment he just gave me a big fat NO2) My son loves the butternut squash cubes. I thought I would be able to order a side. The servers again reverted to the kitchen staff, the same man. With a snarky attitude he said its not an option for a side. Really?? The server had to convince him and he was like fine charge her $6, which was entirely unfair considering similar sides were $4. It was such a bummer to have this interaction.

Cute vegan restaurant. So many things to choose from let me a bit overwhelmed. I finally walked outside and asked a table what they were eating to help me decide. The cheeseburger wasn’t what I thought it would be and left me with heartburn the rest of the afternoon. Overall though, given more time and understanding of the menu, I’m sure it would have been five stars. The staff was amazing, and the turn around time from order to fit in the table was rapid during rush hour.

We had an absolute blast at Trilogy Sanctuary in San Diego! Lauren was our instructor for a private aerial yoga session, and she was amazing - patient and accommodating for us beginners. We had so much fun in our class and left feeling relaxed and energized. And to top it off, we had a private sound bath with John, who was also incredible! I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I have been to a lot of vegan places, but this is my favourite so far. The food is delicious, fresh and surprisingly affordable. The little shop next to the restaurant is also very cute. The view is lovely and the atmosphere is very nice. Seating inside and outside on a rooftop terrace. When I was done with my meal, I came in for a to-go box, and the person that served me my food remembered what I ordered and knew what type of container would fit the leftovers best.Depending on the time you come, you can probably watch an acro yoga class, which Id love to try the next time Im here! It gave me such vegan, agricultural goddess Demeter vibes *loved it*.The restaurant was actually located on the rooftop of a small building so the ocean breeze was felt 100% I personally enjoyed the classic açaí bowl the best (pictured here). It was pretty sweet but paired amazingly well with the fruit. Plus this was some of the best, most crunchy granola Ive ever had! The only thing I would change is to have sliced almonds rather than whole as Ive heard they can crack your teeth.The regular smoothies are not bad. They taste very strong of the main ingredients though. Like turmeric or charcoal. Much less sweet compared to the bowl if you like that. What a neat place to spend an evening. I went with my friend for the Full Moon Gathering. We started the night by ordering vegan entrees and smoothies at the cafe - it was some of the best vegan food I have ever had. We watched aerial and fire performances on the rooftop with the stars twinkling above. The atmosphere is laid back and great for people of all ages. It was quite an experience. I wish the beginners class was geared more toward beginners as many of the moves were very advanced for a beginners class. Our instructor started late with no apologies then we had to wait while she adjust everyones silks. I didnt appreciate that. If you require students to arrive early so should the instructors. Things to note: There is no changing area or any place to store personal belongings. The class is held on the roof top right next to the cafe and seating area so you are doing your routine steps away from people watching and enjoying their meals. One of the reasons I decided to take the class while visiting the area was to relax and unwind kind of hard to do that while sitting in my silk facing 2 women eating their salad directly in front of me about 5 away. Not in the cafe area but on a bench directly in front of the yoga class. Very awkward experience. I like that it was outdoors the weather was perfect.

Oh, how about a great ambience on a rooftop patio with city and ocean views, and if youre very lucky, youll get to witness a live aerial yoga class for either kids or adults in the adjacent aerial yoga and yoga spaces. Their indoor place is filled with good vibes too. We had a BLTrilogy Buckwheat Crepe with Eggplant bacon, avocado and aioli sauce, Chili Yam dish with a delicious sauce, and a Sexy Soup of the Day which was a suuuuuuper creamy Curry Cauliflower and Chickpea soup. Yummy, healthy, and filling. We had a wonderful time in the outdoor patio, enjoyed our meal and an aerial yoga class show, and we cant wait to go back because those Spring Rolls everybody was ordering looked VERY tempting... Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful rooftop porch.I was disappointed with my Yogi Bowl. Its listed under the Bountiful Bowl section of the menu but it is more of a salad than a bowl. All of the other Bowls have a large base of rice, quinoa or lentils, so naturally I thought the pesto zoodles that were listed in the description would be the base of the yogi bowl. Instead, it was a small handful of zoodles with a sliced tomato, a few olives, a side of beet hummus and some cauliflower. Bottom line, it just looked more like a salad, and wasnt nearly as filling as any of the other bowls, yet was priced at $13.50.On a positive note, my wifes quinoa bowl was delicious, and strangely cheaper than the yogi bowl, even though it was considerably more filling.Minor note: My wife asked for a small side of sauce to go with her quinoa bowl, but did not realize she was being charged $2. The majority of restaurants dont charge for a small side of sauce - recommend mentioning this to your customers.

Favorite spot in La Jolla. Up on the 4th floor, view of the ocean and Spanish style church towers to the West. Aerial Yoga shares the same area. Warm inviting atmosphere. So many delicious options on the menu that I came back again, during my short visit from Colorado.

Ordered chips and salsa, enchiladas, party of four. The chips arrived on a very small plate, literally the bottom of the bag chips, crumbled small pieces. When I pointed out to the server, what she just delivered to our table, she apologized and said, she would replace the order of chips. She never came back to our table. After having an eventful and lovely day with my girlfriend on Feb. 8, I decided to turn on postmates and begin deliveries. My first pick up was from Trilogy Sanctuary. When I arrived, I asked my girlfriend to come up with me and check out the place because I knew she would love it. Full house, live music, great atmosphere and beautiful view, my girlfriend fell in love with the place.Being a successful business that this is, there was a long line. Seeing nothing Wrong with approaching the front of the line and stepping on the side till acknowledged like any other food business Ive pick up from, my girlfriend and I received nothing but dirty looks from the girl working the register. After 3 minutes I informed the couple next in line that I was just there to pick up an order for postmates, if I could speak to the cashier. I spoke to that cashier and received nothing but attitude and she insisted that I wait in the back of the line.A business this busy should not be restricted to just one tablet to register orders. This place requires a secondary/pick up register or should not be receiving 3rd party orders. It is unacceptable to make someone wait longer after calling in an order. It is the equivalent of someone ordering in house to go and then making them wait in line yet again just to receive their order, when they know it is ready. It is unheard of and poor customer service. I was not satisfied with experience.
