Looks like just a pizza place in a strip mall but it houses one of the most fabulous meal experiences youll likely ever have.Courses change based on their seasonal menu items, but everything was fresh and of the highest quality. I could go dish by dish but suffice it to say that my fiance, who dislikes squid and lamb was blown away by the presentation and taste of each of those dishes, which is testament to the skills of the chefs at Trois Mec.Service is all about tasting menus, so go with an open mind...and prepare to shell out for the experience. Reservations only, need to make sure to check frequently for openings!

2019-06-14 07:03:09One of the most superlative dining experiences Ive had in Los Angeles. Id been next door and enjoyed it tremendously oh, but this was another level entirely. The food was so clever and well-balanced and the service was outstanding. It also managed to be very informal and cozy well serving five star dishes

2019-06-05 22:47:36It was an extraordinary dining experience, which started with the succinct, energetic Bonjour’s from every member of the team. The atmosphere was modern, unintimidating and warm. Time slowed down, as the slim white candle burnt itself without reservation. We sat at the counter, and it was a great pleasure of its own to observe the kitchen. Then food, the star of this evening. (you might skip the following section, to allow yourself the thrill of encountering the unknown)I fell in love with the chef almost too easily, even before the bread was served. The mustard brûlée which had a tinge of wasabi awakened my taste buds, and I knew at once that the rest of the show would be innovative, bold and promising. The avocado sushi was utterly peerless, especially when it yielded its secret to you, the ivory tofu that tasted of sea. Then I was completely captivated again - the sweet peas absorbed the gist of fire, their smoked bitterness being perfect companion to the subtle sweetness of the shrimp sashimi, which had its own ultra-springy and firm texture. The Parmesan custard which faithfully covered and concealed the caviar was another stroke of genius. Finally, the large chunk of lamb leg, which was put onto the grill not long before we arrived, was sliced into thin, elegant pieces, quietly fulfilling its fate as we wielded the too genteel knife. Now the chef was melting the spoon with his palm to make the quenelles. But really, he was brooding over a showdown, one that made you remember. It was the arugula panna cotta. Unprecedented, and who will come after?Ah, this was the rare time in life when I wish to be successful....IG: @phootopia19

2019-10-07 03:03:24Really nice restaurant with good food and a nice vibe. Had the five course menu which was tasty - lots of variety in terms of flavours and a refreshing approach. Service was decent too. Really interesting wine list with off-the-beaten track selections. Not bad versus the other Michelin star restaurants Ive tried before, definitely more LA in terms of overall impression. Worth a visit at least once.

2019-07-25 04:01:56Most dishes have strong and salty taste. It’s neither traditional French food nor decent Michelin food I expected. Stars are for the good service. Food doesn’t worth the money.

2018-11-24 08:15:09Lowkey restaurant hidden inside an old pizza place. No signage and just a plain glass door that will welcome into the amazing five course menu by Chef Ludo Lefebre. The open kitchen completes the fascinating dining experience. Walk-in are highly discouraged so make sure to book tickets in advance.

2018-05-11 20:55:31Everyone screamed at me in French when I walked in. I do not like being screamed at in French. Fortunately, as you can tell from the photos, they had Aesop soap in the bathroom to rectify the situation. Of the 6 dishes on the tasting menu, only one was memorable (see photo of caramelized eel, white chocolate potato mousseline), which is a shame when they charge as much as they do.

2018-06-28 15:12:19Had an amazing bday dinner at Trois Mec. We loved sitting at the bar and watching them make and plate our food. Every dish was completely unique and somehow the flavors came together perfectly. Dessert (pictured) was a fancy banana bread dish with curry ice cream. Cant wait to go back!
