Exquisite experience with phenomenal food. I would highly recommend this place. As someone who has been traveling the United States for the last 4 years on work trips I haven’t found a place in the last couple of years that has wowed me like this place did. The food was absolutely fantastic and the presentation enhanced the experience even more. The tasting tower was an absolutely joy to experience and as someone who frequents LA for work trips, I will be back.

This was my 3rd time here. Never disappoints!Great for seasonal fare, vegeterian and vegan options.There are non-alcoholic refreshing drinks and teas so its perfect for all type of diners. The vegan house patty is amazingg!!...better than the real turkey sandwich 😄Pls dont skip the flourless cake coz its pure heaven.

Fantastic in season menu! I love their Gluten free, Vegan and dairy free options. It’s always fresh. The service excellent, friendly warm and welcoming. I started with the soup, butternut squash ( gluten free and dairy free) it’s so lovely to enjoy the soup with our worrying of all the cream they would add to it.I followed it by the exquisitely roasted Brussels sprouts, so delicious roasted.I then combine them in a spoon as I took a bite of both at the same time, what an explosion 💥 of flavors.Finish up with nice cup of tea.Highly recommend it if you are looking for fresh ingredients, and delicious healthy options.

Ordered a burger medium, It came beyond well done. It came congratulations 🪨. I should have sent back both dishes so they can make them correctly but I did not have the time. To the chef, if this ends up being my last meal, I will haunt you for the rest of eternity 👎

While drinks and food are good, service isnt slow it is glacial. I finally waved down our waiter after we were there an hour, had drinks and appetizers to BEG to order the entrees now. I had been told to wait when we ordered appetizers. It took another 45 minutes to an hour. The food tasted great. I had the lasagna Bolognese which was presented deconstructed. My limeade and green tea were also good. Just dont be in a hurry or as starved as I was when you go.

We came to True Food for lunch today and everything was amazing! The Brussel Sprouts, chaired cauliflower & the edamame dumplings were delicious! The Gluten free base of the pizza was perfectly made. The steak & sea-bass were cooked to perfection. Looking forward to our next visit.

Have been here several times. Healthy but occasionally bland food in a nice setting.Food continues not to match the quality of when this chain was newer. Pizza crust seems to have gone down hill and food is occasionally served lukewarm, but service is usually nice.On a visit in mid-2022 for a business lunch, True Food got all three of our orders wrong! The two people with me received a different salad than they ordered and no attention was paid to their preference for how to cook the salmon on top.My order was wrong twice. Wrong salad both times, incorrectly cooked salmon both times, and they ignored my request of no dairy and citing of a dairy allergy on their initial attempt. And after my dish was re-delivered, no one bothered to ask if it was okay. And yea, the food kept coming up on me for a few hours.Management was nice, understanding, and apologetic, after the meal was extinguished—thank you.

If you don’t know there is a good vibe high end foodcourt around here, you wouldn’t see it from the main road. And True Food Kitchen serves great salads jj a nice surrounding.Good they have the calories listed as well as it is easy to eat too much, even when you believe you’re eating healthy.

This place is very nice. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, always came to the table to check on us. The interior is stylish and very open, and the table are spread out, especially good for Covid time. The atmosphere is inviting. It’s a really nice place for dining. The cuisine is quite original, but considering that it’s healthy eating, it tasted good. Quinoa bowl was very delicious, the sea bass was plain, but still good, and the seasonal butter squash soup was tasty. You definitely have to love this type of food to really enjoy it. We are not experts, but we had a great experience.

Beautiful, yummy food from a cool restaurant “chain” that doesn’t really feel like a chain. I love True Foods and the seasonal, non inflammatory food they offer and the consistence between locations. This location has lots of seating and parking with a nice patio area. I love coming here for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends or friends. Could easily be a great place for a meeting or a date. Clean location with friendly staff, I would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t before.

My husband, Patrick, yes we have the same name, and I were in town visiting some relatives in the area and decided to go out to dinner, just the two of us. True Food provided just the right ambiance for a casual yet romantic evening. Patrick 2 has a few dietary issues and we were so impressed with our servers knowledge and recommendations. The mocktails were a revelation!! We enjoyed the edamame dumplings so much we ordered a second serving. For dinner we delighted ourselves with the Rainbow Trout and the Pan-Roasted Chicken. And do not skip the Flourless Chocolate Cake! Was absolutely sensational. Thank you True Food Kitchen and the wonderful staff! Well managed and well kept! We look forward to our next visit.

They are great with food allergies! I have multiple severe allergies and i was able to talk to the manager and chef about accommodations. Despite my many allergies, they said they were able to modify almost anything on the menu for me. The food was amazing, excellent flavors, tasted fresh, and no allergic reactions🙌

I began dining at True Food Kitchen when they first opened their original location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. I have been a fan ever since, and it is one of my favorite restaurants. The El Segundo restaurant offered a similar experience as the experiences Ive had at Newport Beach. The main reason I like True Food Kitchen is due to their seasonal menu of fresh, creative, and healthy dishes. We usually start with their edamame dumplings and hamachi as appetizers (which also make a light meal if one isnt too hungry), and then get whatever looks good that day. Desserts are delicious, relatively healthy, and worth the calorie splurge. In line with fresh and creative dishes and drink offerings is the restaurants decor, which is very casual at the same time stylish. Ill call the style abstracted urban farm. It has a clean look to coordinate with clean food and clean living. The outdoor dining space is equally pleasant as the indoor dining room. The only negative thing we experienced was it was a bit noisy. The dining experience could be enhanced if they proactively addressed this issue as well as turned down the volume of the music. We found ourselves raising our voice in competition with the loud music as well as the party next to us who also needed to raise their voices to hear each other. Service was friendly, and I would say slightly above average in responsiveness. Its a large dining room, and our server was literally covering a lot of ground. Our meal for 3 which included two appetizers, 3 entrees, 3 desserts, and a bottle of wine was $116.00 + tip. So, it wasnt what I would call inexpensive, but not overly expensive either considering how much more it is to buy quality organic food. I also value the careful preparation and presentation of the food. Overall our experience was very good, we all enjoyed our food, and we had a great time.

Im glad I came here so I can have a comparison between this restaurant and the one closer to me in Pasadena. The service is much superior here. Parking is easy to find. The manager Curtis was super friendly and spent time explaining the new app to me. The food server Katelyn was friendly and explained how the QR code menu worked. The food was tasty and appetizing. I felt safe with the way the tables are spread out. I have no complaints at all. Good job, True Food Kitchen El Segundo!

This place is letting customers dine in! They also have a large outdoor patio with plenty of distance from other guests. The food was really good and reminded me of something home cooked! I ordered the teriyaki quinoa bowl and it was the perfect portion to fill me up. Not too small not too big. They also have fresh pressed juices and tea! I ordered the kale aid and it also tasted so fresh!!! Their water is triple filtered so no need to order expensive bottled water. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would come here again🙂

Whether you are into health food, or just looking for a tasty meal, this restaurant inspired by Dr. Andrew Weil’s health principles will not disappoint. Who says food can’t be hearty and wholesome and without compromising the taste? I have to beat burger. They had run out of gluten-free buns, so they substituted pizza bread. It was a little messy to eat, but it was fun because it was so good! They have an excellent drink menu and dessert menu, too. However, I was so full I didn’t have room for dessert.

A couple of great things to call out, great Gluten free selection. But more importantly knowledgeable staff about all things GF. The lasagna was amazing. Flavorful, a good amount of cheese. I’m also a fan of the bathrooms at this location. And the whole place is huge, which means you can get seated quickly even when it’s not early day mid week like us.

This place is great! The food was incredible and really fresh. They focus on seasonal inspired dishes and they are delicious.The server we had was probably one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Great experience and delicious lunch.A little tricky to find parking, but that has nothing to do with this restaurant - it’s just a busy shopping center.

First time at this place and it might be one of my favorites.I ordered the Hangover Rx ($6) to start and it is such a refreshing delicious drink.I prefer the Kale salad with salmon and wow! So filling, perfect size, and all the flavors are so rich.We were in the mood to indulge so we ordered the margarita pizza. I’m from NYC so I can’t just eat any pizza like I can in NYC.....this pizza is valid I promise! Dough was very very good and perfectly crisp.Definitely coming back. The space is big and bright and the food absolutely delicious. I had the pineapple marg and smoked gouda turkey burger, my mom had the teriyaki quinoa bowl and we ate every crumb. The burger was so juicy, (yall know its a fine line between getting it right and drying a turkey burger out). My mom said the bowl was sweet, with great flavor, mustve been Matts magical dust. Cant wait to visit again.

I came here on a Thursday night. The place was very packed yet we were greeted instantly by both hostess and waitress.We ordered a margarita pizza and the chicken pita. The food took longer than normal. We were being patient but also noticed. Then the waitress had the restaurant give us our meal free. We never asked for this and yet they took initiative to compensate us anyways. Caitlyn was such a nice person. I recommend asking for her if you go.The food was great and the atmosphere was great. We will be back again.

I always go to different branches but this one was very good and had a lot bigger and nicer space.Matt the manager was very nice, patient and friendly. All their staff were good.The menu has all sorts of options. They also have all sorts of cocktails.The salads are why I come here. They are delicious but the portions are smaller than you think. It might be the right portion for humans to eat but we’re American and we always want more so I wish they were a little more generous with their portions. ;)Price vs portion should be proportional.I got the Mediterranean quinoa salad. It was good, but I would put olive oil (hint: mediterranean) in it and remove the peppadew(because it’s south african) unless names of the salads don’t matter...Cucumber collins drink was good too. Soup was good as well.I recommend this place. Clean, friendly, healthy and diverse.

In a beautiful area in LA, I was treated and dined by a good friend of mine. There are so many restaurants to choose from. So we also ate the Mushroom & Garlic base pizza. Talking about the healthy attitude of the servers and in general this area is just superb in courteous interaction. This was very authentic plate. For dessert we ate the pink key lime pie 😋. Good food, good ambience, great staff, superb service. Nothing bad about this place so far. They have a lot of delicious vegan and vegetarian (lacto-ovo) options. All there desserts were vegan or vegetarian and all were tasty! The vegan organic grain bowl was very good, so were the vegan squash pie and cookie n ice-cream. They were serving their winter menu.

The restaurant is only as good as the chef that day:I love True Kitchen, I first discovered it in ATL and have been hooked ever since. Today was a huge disappointment. I always order the Panang Curry bowl with sea bass. I was so disappointed this time. I am accustomed to the curry having a gravy like texture. And I live for the rice! This was soupy, the sea bass was over done and the rice was clumpy. I am sooooooo disappointed., 🤷🏽‍♀️ What happened?? I spend $42 and I am still hungry because I am throwing it in the trash. It is going to take me a while to recover from this one True Kitchen. Does The Alpharetta restaurant make better food than the El Segundo restaurant. I don’t know but I won’t go back. $40 min is a lot of money to waste. The customer service was great. That is why I gave 2 stars

I just wanted to follow up, the delivery experience I had a while back was not a one time event, we ordered food last night and it was outstanding - again! Its nice to find a simple and casual place thats reasonably priced that is this good! The chicken sausage pizza, just so good. The chicken sausage keeps it a little light, but still full of flavor. It always strikes me funny, as a pizza aficionado, who would think of True Food for pizza, but its that good! I would make it one of your go-to pizza spots. The noodles, so tasty, and the added Salmon, simple but perfect, yes perfect! We added some shrimp, super simple and tasty. I little side of hummus, so good! When you want approachable casual food worthy of a foodie - its TRUE FOOD!

We LOVE this place! Tried it on vacation and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back before we left town. Lots of great Vegan options for my daughter with dairy and egg allergies... she is obsessed with their Vegan chocolate chip cookies! The flourless chocolate cake is TO DIE FOR and we loved the vegan double cheeseburger and spaghetti squash casserole! The staff is so friendly and helpful too! Overall GREAT dining experience!

I look forward every year to their seasonal key lime dessert (made w/avocado & other yummy ingredients with a macadamia nut crust )Went back to El Segundo location and to my disappointment they are experimenting w/others similar items. I ordered the Pink Lime dessert (?) and although it was ok ( very sweet, strong coconut taste & texture) yet far from the avocado key lime I was looking forward to. I hope it makes it back on the menu. Because if this, I give it a 4*Ps - without requesting it, I was refunded for this item .

I absolutely love True Food Kitchen. I became familiar with it while living in Denver and visiting their Cherry Creek location often. From their specialty cocktails and healthy juices to the menu of nutritional yet super yummy entrees. True Food has something for everyone. Transitioning to a Vegan lifestyle over a year ago, Im still able to find options that are Vegan without compromising taste. The wait staff is always welcoming, Ive never had to wait for seating at the El Segundo location and even sitting and talking with friends for hours, theyre always accommodating. Parking can be challenging at high traffic times, however not having to PAY for parking makes it a wash. I highly recommend visiting.

This is a great healthy food restaurant. I love the options, variety of foods and the almond ricotta is delicious. However, pick up time took 40 minutes the other night. Done in service is always good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its in a great location with other restaurants and shops. I would definitely be coming back as its very hard to find a restaurant thats healthy and very tasteful.

Food is AMAZING, clean and nice bathrooms, sooo much room so you are not sitting on top of people- LOTS of tables allows for less wait time, if any at all. the kimchi bowl was INCREDIBLE and there were so many things on the menu I want to return for! also the heaters outside were amazing!

My husband and I decided to see if there was a restaurant to accommodate us during our Whole30 October. I called the restaurant and spoke to Kevin, who I believe was the manager. I told him our food restrictions and he went line by line through the menu trying to help us figure out how we could make it Whole30 compliant. He took his time and genuinely wanted to help. When asking about my meal, she was specific, rather than saying, You enjoying it. She remembered the dessert menu that I requested, but wasnt pushy when I declined. She was prompt returning the check after I paid. Regina is an asset because she operates well under pressure and still completes each task well. Shes cognizant of the needs of the restaurant and her section.Her colleagues were great at teamwork. Different team members ran food and offered a kind word or gesture to create a meaningful interaction. Loved the open-restaurant concept design. Ordered the Ancient Grain bowl with tofu. Every bite was a pleasure. Very filling; I had to take some home. My boyfriend, who is kind of skeptical of health food restaurants was very impressed with his smoked turkey wrap. Beautiful surrounding area. Loved it!

The atmosphere was open with an airy sophisticated feel. The menu was unique offering a wide variety of healthy choices, everything from Poke Bowls to Speghetti Squash Casserole to Pizza! The menu does occasionally rotate to continue to offer the most current, ripest in season ingredients. Our table enjoyed the Ancient Grains Bowl which was vegan and the Cashew Pad Thai which was gluten free. Both were packed with flavor!

Had a reservation but when my wife got to True Food at 5:00pm was told we could not sit a booth since they were reserved. We had a reservation but that didnt seem to matter. Never even asked our name. I told the host that we really wanted to sit next to each other instead of across from each other. It was Valentines Day and 5:00 so only 4 couples in the whole place.Told we had to sit in at a table for two across from each other. What a huge disappointment when we left at 6:00 and the place was still empty. The meal was wonderful but the whole point was we wanted to sit together in a both or larger table. I will not go back

This place serves health food, but man is it good health food! The menu changes periodically, and the choices are diverse. Everything Ive had there has been really good and flavorful. Ive always had a difficult time choosing what I want, which hardly ever happens for me at health-food type spots. My only complaint is that they use fake (nut or soy) cheese in some of their dishes, which I just think is a sin. I wish that were optional so I could try those dishes with real cheese if I wanted to.

After telling my friends what a wonderful restaurant True Foods Kitchen was, I brought them here at 7:56pm and was told the manager decided to close the restaurant an hour early, after we took a $20 Uber to get here. The closing time is 9pm, I will never come back here again! Very disappointed!

I have been coming to this location since it opened to dine in. This time we ordered to go. As I was waiting for my order ( 3 burgers -2 turkey &1 beef). I noticed a guy with a (blue shirt and glasses ) grabbed the burger bun with his hand - wasnt waering gloves and was not the cook as he was outside the kitchen - When my order was handed by the girl at the bar, I asked who he was and I was told he is the manager. I told her I saw what he did and she said they can replace the bun and apparrently they did. It is surprising that such a big restaurant chain doesnt require their employees to get food handling certification. The manager never came out to apologize and in addition the manager was holding a pen and was putting it in his mouth. The burger was thrown away. For $52 dls for 3 burgers I expect more.

We ordered a vegan meal, and our kale salad came with parmesan cheese on it. Told our server about it and she was aware that our whole meal is supposed to be vegan. She takes the dish back to the kitchen and comes back with a bigger kale salad explaining that because of the inconvenience they wanted to give us more, yet there was still parmesan cheese on it. Its one thing to serve a dish from the vegan menu that is not vegan, but then to bring it back pretending like its a new salad is just sad.
