Wow!! What a gem. Was so hungry tonight and didnt want a typical chain for my dinner. I followed Google reviews to Truva and was not disappointed. I ordered at the counter and experienced extremely friendly service. I had the vegetarian moussaka which was served with pickled salad, delicious rice, hummus, and FRESHLY MADE AND BAKED bread that is reason enough to come back. The main, the moussaka, was a huge portion and very tasty. I cant wait to come back!

Service was good. The one who served and took my order was the owner. The restaurant was empty but they did have a lot of people ordering it to go. The ambiance is like any other restaurant.I ordered the Truva Special mix grill. Huge portions. Flavorful food. The meat was halal.Overall, I’m giving this place 4 stars. Definitely coming back.

Came here for a birthday lunch. I was in the mood for a salad and got the Fatoush salad. It was so refreshing and fresh and the dressing was light and perfect. It came with pita chips on top which was a nice touch of crunchiness. It also came with a side of bread. The bread was warm and fluffy. My sister ordered the Adana plate and everything was flavorful but not over powering. Both the chicken and meat kabob were delicious. The owner was friendly and chit chat with us for a bit and was very attentive. The seating inside is nice and there are plenty of tables. Parking is easy. I would highly recommend and I would go back when im in the area.

Great food and service! We loved their falafels and hummus. French fries were yumm. Pita bread is very soft. Dips are all tasty too. My friends loved their chicken wraps. Pickled cabbages were good too. Spanakopita was so delicious and fresh. Loved the service that’s fast and very casual.

Im from Ankara. I really enjoy the döner kebab from my hometown. Its truly delicious. The döner(gyro) here transported me 13,000 kilometers away to the city where I was born. The restaurant owner, Mr. Serdar, is very hospitable and friendly. The service is fantastic. The music is carefully selected. Everything is very clean. I highly recommend it.

Just moved here from Orange County. We missed our Mediterranean cuisine. I saw on google search their chicken kabob, salad and fresh breads look really good.We tried the chicken kabob and gyro. We are very impressed how moist, juicy the chicken kabob. Even the gyro kabob is moist and pact with flavorful. What impressed me were the fresh crispy salad and the hummus got great flavor! The star of the shows are the moist fresh bread they baked in house!I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a tasty food with high quality ingredients! I noticed the owner put a lot of passion in it.We will definitely be coming back!

I saw this place on Yelps top 100 places to eat in Bay Area. Since its local, I decided to try it out. Im glad I did.I like kebab, but I really wanted to taste both beef and lamb. Too bad they didnt have beef kebab so I chose the beef and lamb gyro plate instead. The included bread was nice and not stale. I enjoyed my meal, but somehow I felt they could have increased the spice level. I had to add some pepper just to give it a bit more kick. The salad was nice and refreshing. My friends chicken kebab plate looked delicious too. I think Id order that next time.Came on a Friday evening around 6pm. Not many people there, but I appreciated the quiet setting so my friend and I could have a good conversation. I would assume they get more business during lunch because there were not a lot of people there while I dined for dinner. Its a good place to eat and Id certainly come back. I originally was headed to chick fil an and realized it wasn’t open yet and decided to come here for something healthy. Wow I am SO GLAD I did. I ordered the chicken kebab plate and it was quite possibly the best middle eastern/Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in my life. The hummus tasted home made, the pita was fresh and hot, chicken was perfectly cooked and marinated well, and the side salad had this wonderful dressing on it. Everything was fresh and tasted like it was made to order. If you have a chance you HAVE to check it out! 10/10 would recommend.

Stopped in after a business meeting. One of the best tasting Mediterranean food I have had. Staff is very friendly and makes sure you are welcomed and satisfied with your meal. Family owned with home made hummus and bread. The meat selection all seemed fresh and was cooked to perfection. Can’t say or think of anything negative to say about this place. Its clean and has vegan and vegetarian options. Wish I spent more time taking pictures, however I was busy enjoying my food.

Best Mediterranean weve ever had. A must have every time were in town from San Diego. The Spanakopita is light, flakey and melt in your mouth delicious. The Adana mix kebab plate is bursting with flavor and reflects the homemade consistency and pride they take in providing it. Service is great and they are always happy to recommend another winner from the menu.

Unfortunately very disappointed. A gyro burrito? Huh?Ordered a lamb and beef gyro and fries and I hate to say it but this was by far the most expensive and worst tasting gyro I’ve ever had. The meat did not taste like lamb and beef at all and the fries were super bland. Bread tasted like cardboard and feel apart instantly. Also never seen a gyro look like a burrito. As another stated, misleading pics from the internet made me think I was getting something authentic (their kebab dishes looked very appetizing) but this was far from true. I will not be back unfortunately.

Fresh Mediterranean food with friendly service. The falafel plate is simple, but top notch with just done perfectly falafel. The salad is crisp and the rice has a touch of sweetness. The hummus is perfect and creamy. Tasty bread with a slight crunch but soft inside. Try the Uludag sodas for something different.The gyro plate was great per my partner. Juicy, full and the sauce makes it pop. The fries are thin with a crunch.A steady stream of guests, but not too crowded. Liminted wine and beer, but plenty of non-alcoholic choices. A great treat.

Their gyros wrap is not done correctly! They use Mexican wrap instead of pita bread and the gyros meat somehow doesn’t have the flavor. Maybe because they put salad dressing instead of greek yogurt source! I was really glad that they open this restaurant here. However, please improve your gyros or you will not have a lot of return customers.

Absolutely great find. Went looking for a healthy lunch and this is it. Many options based on gyros, kabobs, or falafels. Gyro meat is genuine and off the spit. The adana kabob plate I had was juicy, well-grilled and well-seasoned.One surprise was being served a freshly baked round of bread. I was watching carbs today, but good thing it was leg day at the gym because I couldnt resist. The white rice is nutty slightly sweet. The side salad is generous and comes with a flavorful dressing as well.I saw a recent review that mentioned poor service and I dont know where thats coming from -- the staff was super friendly and I saw them be the same with every other person coming in during lunch rush.The restaurant has lots of natural light, super clean, open and airy and there are tables outside as well.Ill definitely return when Im in the area again.

My friend and I tried this restaurant. I had the Lamb and Beef Gyro Platter and my friend had the Lamb Sheesh Kebab. They both had rice, salad, hummus served with the meet and the meet was delicious. The Lamb sheesh Kebab was slightly better because you can taste more spices in it.We also had a mixed appetizer where we tried multiple famous sauces like Baba Ghanoug and Feta and it was great.Staff is friendly and the owner welcomed us and gave us extra turkish bread for free.Prices are very reasonable (14$ per platter if I remember correctly)Highly recommend it.

Don’t get me wrong this place serves tasty food but they take advantage of serving you small quantities but charging you with inflated prices. This was almost $9 (~$2 a nugget) which seems absurd to me. I recently moved here and work in the same plaza so it is the convenience that brings me here but other than that it isn’t worth the hassle. Makes me miss my small college town that serves bigger portions at reasonable prices(and doesn’t charge for sauces unlike this place).

I stopped by Truva since I saw it was a new restaurant in Pleasanton and I like Mediterranean food. Staff were friendly when I walked in. Truva is an order at the counter restaurant. I ordered a lamb-beef wrap and thought it was great. The ingredients were super fresh (maybe a little more lettuce than I would normally prefer). I highly recommend trying the sauces to add even more flavor to your meal.

This is the best gyro (doner) place in the town and in the bay area. Chef Serdar (owner) and his staff are really professional and friendly. They have all kind of mediterranean grills, homemade breads, desserts and appetizers that worth to try and enjoy. They are very customer oriented, and they can make customized orders like in the picture if you like. Grilled chicken plate was really good, I didnt like tzatziki sauce was not the actual sauce, it was just plain yogurt or sour cream.Falafel wrap was quite dry, inside bread was so hard to chew, I just removed the bread and ate the rest of the stuff. It should come with some sauce.

My daughter went there to pick up an order and there was a mix up where the order was placed at another restaurant. She ended up placing the order there so we had duplicate orders. That is not the issue. The issue was that she was treated very rudely and says she will never go back there again. As a father I find this unacceptable. Shame on your establishment for allowing a girl to be treated that way. Youve lost a customer for good!

The chicken was moist and flavorful with the right amount of char. We also ordered the Adena Wrap. It was delicious, just the right size and not filled with fillers like fries that other places do. Every time I have come to dine here has been excellent. The environment is clean, the staff welcoming and hospitable with a great smile and the food quality is amazing. It’s very difficult to find a business that can do all three. Highly recommend for vegetarians and meat lovers!Not every business can be perfect, I see a few low reviews and just like anywhere else, some items may not be the same in a region that some customers are accustomed to having.But the reality of this establishment is that they take pride in their work for their customers and it shows.

The fries are the perfect size and perfectly browned (on par with in-n-out). Nice open ambience and very clean. I will be back. Next level! We were looking for a family friendly location with Halal options.Outside is a little unassuming, but the restaurant has a fresh and cleanly laid out interior. We thoroughly enjoyed the mixed kebab dishes. Cuts of meat are tender and flavorful. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bread is made daily on location. This is the best Mediterranean Restaurant anywhere! Ive tried many because its my favorite food, but this one surpasses the others by far! It is fresh, healthy, tasty, and reasonably priced. The falafel was soft inside and crispy outside. Greek salad was fresh, lots of various veggies, and just the right amount of feta. Lentil soup was comforting with a great flavor. The bread was fresh baked, soft, and warm. The staff was so friendly and helpful!

This is my go to Mediterranean restaurant since it opened recently.its new and clean. food is actually prepared by the owner and really authentic flavor without too much spice so that I (komşu Hasan) can taste the real grilled chicken, lamb and beef flavor, and dont feel too much thirst afterwards. then topped it with Turkish desserts and tea.my favorites are Adana kebab, gyro and bakalva and rice pudding.

The best gyro/doner that I’ve ever tasted in the Bay Area. Great service as well. The owner greets you and makes sure you get the best experience every single time.
