First time to dine in here, usually i have it delivered through grubhub. They always have huge portions for a price that doesnt break the bank.We had their lunch specials and the serving was big..it came with free soup, the soup was the hot and sour, i finished it but i wasnt always a fan.Parking is difficult, the anxiety having to park by the side of the road, and a lot of vehicles passing by..but no harm done.

I’ve been coming on/off for years. Like top 2 for me in the Bay and I eat ALOT of Chinese takeout. Come for the lunch specials. Or have a lil meal w some loved ones their seating is nice too :).

Theyre very skimpy with their veggies in their wonton soup. Their shrimp are small and the majority of their wonton soup is broth. Its so disappointing especially when youre having a craving! Ive been to amazing Chinese food restaurants and sorry to say that this is not one of them. They are few and far between these days. I will not visit this place again.

Our favorite Chinese delivery! Even long before the pandemic and definitely through it, theyve continuously provided top quality fresh and delicious food with friendly drivers who are following safety protocols. Good prices for large plates so youll be set for leftovers or plenty for 3+ people. If you havent yet.. give them a try 😀Update. March 2022Food is still awesome. Delivery drivers are friendly and fast. HOWEVER: Recent fees and attitude from the staff about it are a huge turn off for me. Delivery fees, convenience fees, and tips when there were none before added about $10-15 to my orders. I ordered lunch specials online, which let me make additions to rice choices for only $1.00 but even with pick up at restaurant there was an additional convenience fee. After I placed the order anyway, they immediate called and said they would not honor my choices from the online order because it was a lunch special. If there wont do that, it shouldnt be offered online and surely they shouldnt argue about it. I canceled the order and went to Panda Express. No, not as high quality but the food there is good, no hidden fees, and no attitude or guilt trips from the staff. I dont know when I will go back to Tsing Tao, but it will be a long time before I call them again.Aug 2023 update: I started ordering and picking up orders to avoid fees, etc. I see different staff who have been friendly and have not had any issues recently so Im happy to be enjoying their great food once again. I have 3 star on atmosphere since its a small, hole in the wall kind of place, but its clean and inviting... I still rather just get take out.

As many others have said before me, the food here is great. Large portions and theyre delicious. The prices are reasonable at any hour but if you go during their lunch specials time they are EXTREMELY reasonable. Like UNDER ten bucks for your whole meal! And the service is also very good. But wait! Why am I telling you all this? I LIKE the way its never crowded whenever I go. Now I might have changed it forever!

I have never written on Yelp before. I heard that this place was pretty good and had good reviews; unfortunately, I had a horrible experience and sixty dollars later (including tip) I found that my sesame chicken was old, hard, cold and burned. My broccoli beef was underwhelming with raw broccoli and very, very little beef. I hope they get it together, the place has so much potential.

The food was horrible! They also just had a visit from a health inspector who sited them for not washing their hands and for the restaurant being dirty.My recommendation is to go somewhere else!!

It was ordered online. Within 15 minutes it was ready. The sweet n sour pork- old meat, hard. Not enjoyable at all. I had to spit it out🤮🤢 Fresh foods make a person come back for more. Old food give a back stomachache. Or have you rushing to the bathroom. 2-3 hours later. My bill was over $60+

Order pickup from this place and it was so delicious! The appetizers for two was perfect for my wife and I; we really enjoyed having little tastes of four different types of appetizers and all of them were great.We also got their Dragon Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and combination chow mein that were all so tasty. We are definitely coming here again and will be telling all our friends and family.

Good food. The service was okay. They have the wrong hours posted so when we got there we believed we had an hour and a half to order and eat. The waiter said we could order to go because they were closing soon. This happened to other customers too and the waiter was not friendly when I mentioned the operation hours were different from the ones listed online and in print.

Just revisited the Wonton Soup. Its some of he best Ive ever had. Ive mostly had appetizers outside of that, and all of it good.I think the likelihood is its all quite good.

Some of the worst Chinese food Ive ever had...just disappointing. The chili pepper prawns were not spicy, covered in some strange thick batter, very oily, and with a sickly sweet sauce. The salt and pepper chicken was damp and tasteless. I could barely eat either of them. One good thing is that portions are big I guess. Many better options are available in this area.

The westlake beef soup as well as the vegetable chow fun were great. The salt and pepper calamari included only the tube portions and were basically tasteless . The Generals Chicken was visually appealing but after 2 tries was like breaded chicken jerky it was so dry inside, dissappointing. The salt and pepper chops resembled gobs of batter. The fried shrimp appetizer was like flattened, tasteless fish patties. The special pineapple fried rice had a hint of a flavor I think was curry but limited meat or pineapple and white rice. I tried to give this family run place a chance but when the advertised free chow mein on orders $35 up was no more than greasy noodles and a single piece of cabbage I am no longer ordering here . Hire a cook !

Ordered for first time through Uber Eats. I wasn’t feeling well and wanted soup. Ordered Wonton soup and the dry braised string beans. I was extremely pleased. The string beans were cooked to perfection and the soup was flavorful. I will definitely order from them again

This neighborhood cafe is conveniently located near the San Pablo freeway exit, so it has become our good to place for good Chinese food when in the bay area. And this time we werent disappointed as we tried and savored 2 different types of noodle dishes. The Hong Kong dish on a bed of crispy noodles paired well with the Singaporean noodles that definitely showed a curried South Asian influence. Compared to the lunch specials the dinner portions are huge and could easily be shared. Or order out for pick up or delivery.

We found this place after our local Chinese food restaurant shut down. This place is great, we come here just about every other week and it has never disappointed. Service is great, food is great, and prices are also great. Food comes out fast and really hot. Great selection of typical food at most Chinese restaurants, also lots of veggie options.

Horrible phone service. they charged us more than the menu prices and a delivery fee that wasnt mentioned anywhere before the final bill came in. the beef dishes had literally 3 small pieces of beef and the rest was all veggies. like that wasnt enough we all had a stomach issue after.i think this sums it up.

The food looked and tasted like it was cooked, then soaked in oil. It left a taste in my mouth like I had just taken a swig of vegetable oil. If that wasnt bad enough, the food was extremely bland. Add the seasoning like a REAL Asian restaurant and lay off the oil.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. Tsing Tao is underrated and very good. We got West Lake Beef Soup, Salt and Pepper Fish, and Pork in Szechuan Sauce (Yu Hsiang Pork) and they were excellent! The fish was fried crispy and loaded with aromatic diced onions, garlic, and jalapeños. Portions also generous - our large soup was loaded into 2 big containers. Going back for more. For dessert, we got free fresh sesame balls filled with red bean and they were fresh and the best I’ve had.
