Our favorite local sushi spot. This place never disappoints. The flavor, quality and freshness are always on point! Really good value for the price as most other places are overpriced. Cant wait for their winter season oysters to come in.Favorites: Honey spicy tuna roll, how much roll, sweetheart roll.

Great service pretty good sushi, wish they had something other than Pepsi, but obviously not a deal breaker.The garlic edamame was tasty, but I think I prefer the original. Salmon sashimi was fresh and delicious. Can’t remember the name of the roll but reminded me of funnel cake with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Loved it the most I think. Would recommend this place.

I ordered takeout, i work down the street & don’t know much about the good food spots in Yucaipa. I was looking for a good sushi place to be my regular spot & man did i hit the jack pot. The sushi was fresh and soooo good! I was kindly greeted at the door by the sweetest lady (i didn’t catch her name). I wish i could give 10 stars!! Definitely found my new lunch spot

I ordered the Shushimi Dinner Platter. Very well portioned. I was surprised because the Albacore was actually better than the salmon, especially because my favorite go-to sushi is salmon. Very clean restaurant, extremely friendly staff. Great for a late night craving.

The food was good.One of the waiters was really nice. The one with super blonde, almost white hair was close to being rude he was so unfriendly. It was uncomfortable. The music was loud for being at dinner it was fast-paced music. It was as if it was in order to get you to Hurry. We both said to each other why are we eating so fast? We realized it was the music.

This is my local “go to” sushi spot. Not all you can eat but reasonable prices for quality rolls and pieces and cuts of sashimi. Friendly staff and always cater to my kids when they come with. Cutting their rolls into thinner pieces so it’s easier for them to eat and handle. Miso soup is always complementary when you order sushi.

Funky little sushi bar, the sign is what drew me to this place. I ordered the crunch roll, spicy tuna roll, the sunrise and gyoza as an appetizer. What else can I say but perfect? The filling was fresh, I was skeptical about a deep fried roll but it works perfectly, the fish is clean, refreshing and oh so tender. Perfect, flavorful sushi rolls at a great price.

Place is very small for bigger parties. There were 8 of us and we were bumping elbows the whole time we were trying to eat. Staff was incredibly nice and very on top of what we needed. Food was delicious but it all comes at random. One person in our party didnt have food, while others were already finishing up their first roll. Just not the best place for big parties.

Everything was delicious, but I cant remember the names of anything except the Garlic Edamame, Dragon Roll, and Apple Tree (I think...). The staff was incredible. Its been a while since Ive been in a restaurant, but if every place had staff as friendly and helpful as Tuna Time, Id probably never eat at home again. Definitely looking forward to going back!

Pretty good, no complaints. Shop is a bit dark, sushi selection is good, service is fast. Prices arent exorbitant. I think their house rolls are always half off. They have a pretty large spicy selection which I love. Their spicy golden usually makes it onto my plate along with their spicy edemame and an appetizer order of their fried jalapenos stuffed with crab meat spicy tuna and cream cheese.

Been here about 4 times now and have not been disappointing. The sushi rolls are thick and full of flavor. I wish it were All you can eat though. So for that reason I am giving it 4 stars, and the fact that the place is not very upscale. But food and service was great. Ordered shusi combo, seaweed salad and crab rolls and all orders taste bad and have been a disaster. Been to hundreds of shusi restaurant in my lifetime and this one is by far the worst in terms of taste, quality and service. Our soggy crab rolls have large amount of mayonnaise in it and an overcook rice. The quality of the fish in our order look bad as if they have been left outside too long. The tuna in the shusi has darker color and it has a particular chorinic smell. I spit the tuna sushi on my firat bite and I ended up throwing all of it including the seaweed salad and not to take a chance.

Gave us the wrong order. When we called to get a refund the lady would NOT listen. We could not go back we were on our way out of town already. $70.00 worth of food wasted. The rolls we got were nothing we would have eaten except 1, but it had been sitting there and was completely soggy. They told me iver the phone 20-25 min. But it was ready Im sure before theis time seeing hiw soggy the soy paper was. We were extremely disappointed.This is NOT the rainbow roll or catipillar roll we ordered.

Loved it. This is my new favorite place for sushi. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Priced right; I was even surprised by the total bill. Service was great even though we didnt get there until almost 11pm. We were looking for someplace to eat late the other night (yelp helped) us find a place that stayed open until midnight. I am guessing they are very busy during the day for lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back.

First their site does not have prices so being a first time order I have no idea what their prices are. I ordered 4 special rolls and 4 hand rolls. I spent almost 80$. My favorite place in Calimesa I can get that much for about $20 less. At least the place I normally go tastes good. Every single piece including the hand rolls were covered in massive amounts of roe. I really do not like roe and there is no disclaimer telling you that everything is covered in roe. I wasted money here, and next time I am craving sushi I will simply wait until one of the places near by are open instead of going to this place. It was disgusting, and I am a big sushi fan. I am so very angry that I wasted so much money. This place is not worth the food.

I so want to give this place a great review but I cannot. Ive return to this place three times and have been disappointed every single time. I eat sushi only and the rice does not taste like sushi rice. The sweet vinegar taste in the rice is absent. The sushi fish has a slightly chlorinated taste making the fish flavorless. Perhaps there is a cross contamination or over sanitation but I cannot go back to Tuna Time. Tip - do not go during 2pm to 3pm. The high school lets out and its a zoo for 30mins.

I come here often for my lunch time sushi fix. They have a menu page with rolls priced between $6-8 bucks. Regular size rolls too. Cant beat it. I always order either the baked lobster roll or sexy salmon crunch. Both on the half off priced menu. The gyoza and seaweed salad are also really good. The seaweed salad is not this good at my other sush spots. My only concern is that it is a small place so I wouldnt come here with a large group. Dont change locations though Tuna Time. Youre way too convenient in location to my work.

The tuna is always fresh, sushi is fine overall.My main issue is with the servers lack of knowledge! Two of the girls who work there couldnt answer the simplest questions about the sushi/menu in general.Their tempura, sauces, and miso are severely lacking in flavor which was a huge bummer.Most likely wont be coming back for anything besides the rolls.

Im surprised there are no reviews yet. My wife and are so glad to have this place in Yucaipa. Its almost a weird sense of pride because there are so few places that people from other cities will come to outside of Yucaipa to come and eat and we think this is one of them. They have a variety of prices and they all beat anything we have found in any other neighboring city. We will get a couple things from the specials menu and splurge on one more expensive thing. The wait is minimal even when busy. If you are on the fence, go. You will not be disappointed.
