I wanted to make an appreciation post and support our local Indian Restaurant. Recently we organized an event at Turmeric Cuisine Of India, Rohnert Park, it was our first time doing an event, and I was very worried. We have had Indian food around Sonoma County, but it has never tested this authentic. Our event was so smooth, place was clean and beautiful, the food? Food was AMAZING. Our guests were praising the food for days. I have not had such good Indian food anywhere else. We have been supporting them by doing dine-in since they have started but we never knew that hosting at an event at such place would be so successful. The manager Mr. Mahesh has been a delight to work with, He has been very supportive and helpful throughout the planning and execution. The waiter staff was just too good, from offering water and drinks to clearing up the table, they were just wonderful. I would really recommend and request everyone to please go and give them a try, you will not regret it. I would highly recommend their Daal makhni, Veggie biryani and Gulab Jamun. I specifically made this post so I could recommend the place and Thank everyone working there for making our event so wonderful. Attached are the pictures of the buffet we had at our event.

If you are a fan of spicy foods, this is a good place in Sonoma county. I wanted a lunch place that you could try a variety of Indian foods, and though their cuisine is based on northern India, they do use fiery spices in some dishes. I did ask them specifically why their food is not to spicy, and they said most customers could not handle that level of spice.Well heck Ive been to Delhi, Fiji and Thailand, and I know spice. 😆So anyways as far as the food offered at their restaurant it was very good . Their tandori chicken was right on, as it was moist and the spices were good, I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. Most Indian restaurants I frequent, they either overcook the chicken where it is dry or not enough spice. The butter chicken was also good as was the chicken coconut curry.They offered naan bread, as well as assorted vegetable dishes, which included cabbage pokada, Bombay curry potatoes, and I believe masala.I cooled my palet with yogurt and sweet orange slices for dessert.A good lunch buffet at a reasonable price.Service was exceptional, they catered to all customer needs, not a drink glass was left empty, and they were exceptionally jovial, and sincere that you were a customer and wanted you to have a good dining experience.I fully endorse this restaurant as a good place to try different and well cooked Indian foods.

The lunch buffet is delicious and the food choices change frequently. Its not just the typical fare, they have some more uncommon dishes, which is nice. I wish the chai was free and that they had gulab jamman during the week, but they do have other desserts at least. My only complaint is that the naan bread is slow to come, as is very common for some reasonbat many Indian restaurants. Must have naan bread to begin to eat!

Very very good Indian restaurant- the best IV had in Sonoma county. Seems that all the initial low reviews can just be chalked up to the growing pains of a newly opened business - and it seems like they have it figured out now because our experience was fantastic. And usually I dont really care too much about the service of a place but Turmerics was top notch!They had a wide Variety of items on the menu - many of which I havent seen too often on other menus. We got the garlic naan ( very good) and onion kulcha ( fluffy, flavorful and delicious) to go with our obligatory chicken tiki masala which was super tasty and rich. We also got Baingan Bharta and Paneer Makhani - two dishes you dont see too often on menus. They were both excellent vegetarian dishes. Cant wait to come back and try other new dishes!Also :-every curry dish comes with rice - which is fantastic considering other restaurants will charge you an additional 4 dollars for rice!- the chai was great and they give refills-Dont be afraid to ask for spicy when they ask about the heat level. It just simply means that the dishes will be more flavorful, not necessarily spicier like you might be expecting.The only minor criticism I would have is that the dishes had a very slightly sweet after taste. It didnt bother us much cuz the overall quality and flavor of the dishes were on point, but it might bother some. Maybe the tomato paste they use has added sugar? Either way were extremely happy to have this restaurant in Sonoma county. It feels and tastes very authentic like a home cooked meal! This will be our go-to Indian spot from now on. A very cute and cozy little restaurant! I’ve never had Indian food. The staff was so friendly and lovely. This place is very family friendly as well. I can’t wait to go back! Their service is amazing 3 different people came in checked on us. Their naan bread is amazing.

I tried their vegan buffet tonight and it was fantastic. There was a wonderful variety of food. The spicy dishes werent too spicy for me and the heat added to the dish instead of being heat for heats sake. The salad was gorgeous but it was my least favorite dish because the red onion was a bit strong for me. The desert was new to me and Im so pleased they served it. I loved how the place looked. The service was prompt and polite. Tell all your vegan and veg-friendly friends to go to the buffet.

Vegan friendly, quick lunch buffet! You can be in and out within minutes! Nourishing spices and delicious food, plus the kindest staff youll ever meet. Its worth a visit! Not too busy either, has a very inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Thank you!

I found this place for the first time today when I woke up with a craving for Indian food for breakfast. Fortunately for me, I only had to wait till 11 am to go explore their $15 dollar all you can eat buffet. I’m telling you, the presentation was beautiful, the food was so flavorful and with many options. The customer service was exceptional, answered all my questions, and I never had to ask for my water to be topped off, nor my plates to be removed as they were very prompt with the service. As well as a nice calming atmosphere, and an easy location to find parking spaces I was so excited to know that Rohnert park has a new favorite Indian Restaurant of mine now. I enjoy Indian food a great deal, and technically this is only the third time in my life that I have had Indian food in a buffet style. Turns out one of my roommates has eaten here like 4 times since it’s opened, apparently I missed the conversation about this yummy establishment. I understand that you can get lunch time special take away box also at the same price. I’m a single guy so eating alone at restaurants isn’t really my thing, I just get door dash or pick up food and go home with it. But now knowing the options were vast with lots of curries and super tender meat or vegetable options I am good with the idea of going in for lunch again. To my amazement nobody gave me weird looks when I went up for like 2.5 times for refills. I will be returning soon for the lunch specials, but even in the evenings I know my money will go far since I asked about how big the containers are for take out. Glad I woke up obsessive compulsive about eating Indian food for breakfast. Enjoy!

Some of the best Indian food Ive eaten. Everyone was super friendly and they food came super fast. The crispy cauliflower appetizer Ive never had before, but was excellent! Coconut curry chicken awesome, as was the lamb samosa! Really great!I saw that they have also a lunch buffet... Will have to come do that sometime.

Just had a great buffet lunch on a Saturday with my wife at Turmeric. Wonderful flavors and about 13 dishes to choose from, great chutneys. Attentive and friendly service.
